Friday Ticker Change 7/6

Ticker change simply means that you have started a new week of pregnancy. For example, I go from 25 weeks to 26 weeks on Thursday 7/5 , so my “ticker” changes on Thursdays. It is our way of marking a milestone.

1. How many weeks are you? What size is baby? 25wks Cauliflower

2. How are you feeling? I'm feeling better actually but I'm gaining more weight than I would have liked to.

3. Any appointments this week? None this week

4. Rants/raves/questions? None

5. GTKY: Where is the farthest you've ever traveled from home? For our honeymoon we went to Australia. It was a 19 hour plane ride, but so much fun! We live in New York State.

1. How many weeks are you? What size is baby? 24 weeks, ear of corn, a cantaloupe

2. How are you feeling? not too bad. the lower back pain has really kicked in this week. I'm on my feet for most of the day at work. I'll see how it goes, but I may have to talk to my boss about changing my responsibilities to something less strenuous.

3. Any appointments this week? Monday I have my glucose test

5. GTKY: Where is the farthest you've ever traveled from home? Italy, I went in high school during the summer for class credit. it was amazing!

1. How many weeks are you? What size is baby? 27 weeks, lettuce

2. How are you feeling? Very sweaty. And I’m starting to get leg cramps at night, so more bananas for me!

3. Any appointments this week? Nope

4. Rants/raves/questions? Just a rant about dr offices. I got a voicemail from my OB (they called at 1:00ish) asking to call back. I called back at 3:30 because I’m a teacher and that’s when my kids leave. They already turned on their answering service. Ugh. Their office hours are until 4, why would they leave early on a Friday knowing nobody can get to them over the weekend? It’s probably about my glucose test. Passed 1st pregnancy, but now fearing they were calling since I maybe failed this time? (Test was on tues). I think it was the granola bar I had a couple of hours before that may have screwed me over

2. How are you feeling? uncomfortable, lots of random pains and discomforts in my stomach, it's getting harder to move around

3. Any appointments this week? nothing, although I need to get into the chiro. I was going to do my glucose test Wednesday but SS will be with me now, so I'm gonna go a week from tomorrow

5. GTKY: Where is the farthest you've ever traveled from home? Australia when I was 15. We got a letter for a People to People Ambassadors trip and my mom actually agreed to let me go for 3 weeks. I actually met my best friend on this trip.

How many weeks are you? What size is baby? 27 weeks lettuce

How are you feeling? Worn out from my 9 month old. He is getting so hard to entertain and is waking up once in the middle of the night now and is going to bed at 1 or 2am.

Any appointments this week? Nope not until the 17th then its every 2 weeks

Rants/Raves/questions? I need to eat healthier..

Where is the farthest youve traveled from home? When I was 18 I went to flordia with my boyfriend and I live in the middle of the country. Note to self do not ride in a bus that long ever again.

@l_hazzard I read somewhere that babies look more like their fathers when they’re born. It’s like natures way of convincing Dad the baby is his. I dunno if that’s true for everyone, but in our case it was. FB even recognized my 2 month old son as my husband. Now at 2.5 ds looks more like a mix.

@cdepperschmidt that was true for us too! Everyone thought my daughter was a spitting image of DH for the first month. Now at 18 months she looks very similar to my toddler pictures and other family members on my side. So crazy!

27, a small pot roast, cucumber, bake helmet

2. How are you feeling?

Exhausted, the heat hit me hard. I also don’t think I’m sleeping well.

3. Any appointments this week?

I had one on Friday (yesterday) and have to get my glucose test next weekend. I got my tdap vaccine yesterday! That made me realize how close we are to the end!

4. Rants/raves/questions?

I’m an emotional mess and so out of it bc I’m so tired

Starting to get uncomfortable and my legs hurt when I stand too long. So many vericose viens.

3. Any appointments this week?

Passed my glucose test this week!

5. GTKY: Where is the farthest you've ever traveled from home?
We have traveled a lot. we went on a 3 months long round the world trip before getting pregnant. South Korea was the fartherst with Hawaii as our final stop before home.

Edits include north to south Korea. Not sure why my phone autocorrected that!

Bit late to the party!

1. How many weeks are you? What size is baby? 26 weeks, kale

2. How are you feeling? feeling good just a very sore lower back by the end of the day...and still nauseous in the mornings.

3. Any appointments this week? I also passed my glucose test from last week! No appt till 28 weeks.

4. Rants/raves/questions? on Thursday I found out the girl on my team gave her 2 weeks notice. I'm not a huge fan of her but I'm still super stressed and bummed now. The last 3 months of work are going to be hell...our office takes forever to replace people and all her work will fall on me.

5. GTKY: Where is the farthest you've ever traveled from home? I believe Greece! For our Honeymoon.

yes! skipped last month so it feels like it has been forever, but now i have one thursday (plus glucose test ) then every two weeks! whoa.

ugh...bh contractions. my abdomen feels like a rock so much of the time and it makes me exhausted

@BabyRobbinsAdventure my daughter definitely came out looking like my husband. All that work for her to be his spitting image ha ha. She's 2.5 now and it's funny because if someone sees just me and her they are like she looks just like you and then they meet my husband and immediately say nevermind because she still looks a lot like him.
