1. How many weeks are you? What size is baby? I'm actually a Feb. 28th due date based on my doctor's calculations (no u/s yet so we're waiting on the official date), but I'm going to hang out here in March with you lovely ladies. So that being said, I'm 6 weeks today! Baby is the size of an apple seed.
2. How are you feeling? Generally great. Yesterday I was super crampy, but it passed after a few hours. I just need to keep reminding myself to drink more water.
3. Any appointments this week? Nope. First appointment is 7/19. I'm strangely calm about it this time. I'm sure I'll be more nervous as I get closer, but for now I'm fine.
4. R/R/Q? DD has been sick for 4 days. She's finally better, but I wasted 2 vacation days that we were supposed to be having fun to sit around the house and take care of a sick kid. I'm really glad she's feeling better.
5. GTKY: What are you looking forward to this week? I have a massage scheduled for Saturday! I can't wait.
1. How many weeks are you? What size is baby?
Today is 5 weeks! My EDD is March 7, but I’m not really sure what the deal is because I haven’t been to the doctor yet. My LMP was May 31 so I’m going strictly off of that. The cycle before I had a 46 day cycle and I finished breastfeeding in March and stopped taking my birth control mid-May. My periods have been all over the place since I breastfed for so long. Baby is the size of an orange seed.
2. How are you feeling?
Emotional! Other than crying at the most irrational things I’m also cramping (constant achy feeling in my pelvis) and throughout my stomach. I’ve also had waves of nausea and my boobs are getting heavy/sore.
3. Any appointments this week?
Nothing this week I called and my first appointment is July 25.
4. R/R/Q?
I’m a teacher and I’m excited to have time off this summer with my little guy (15 months) I keep thinking that now it’ll be our last summer together just the 2 of us. We have spent so much time together just laughing and being together. We also have a pool pass to the local pool we have been enjoying.
5. GTKY: What are you looking forward to this week?
At this point I’m excited that every week will make me feel more confident about this baby

4 week’s! Poppyseed
2. How are you feeling?
So far, great, and a little bit in awe. I guess the second time is just as surreal as the first!
3. Any appointments this week?
Nothing yet - just sent in a request with my doctor asking for an appointment before we go on vacation at the end of the month.
4. R/R/Q?
I’m also a teacher and am getting to snuggle my sweet 13-month-old DD as much as possible this summer.
5. GTKY: What are you looking forward to this week?
This is really my first week of summer vacation. We finished up school the last week of June, and then participated in a youth summer camp the first week of July. I’m so looking forward to relaxing at home, at least as much as I can with my toddler running around.
