Thankful for that too!! Also for the fact by OB’s nurse is a parent to kiddos at my school and she goes out of her way to help with my scheduling so I don’t have to get a sub. Called today and she’s letting me come in a few weeks earlier than usual for my first appointment becuase their usual 8 week first appointment fell on the first week of school.
I’m thankful I’m pregnant. It wasn’t planned so I’m afraid to completely embrace it or get too excited, especially after a difficult pregnancy with DS. I’m overanalzying every symptom and completely getting in my head now. So I’m just trying to take it one day at a time.
I’m also thankful my cubicle mate brought me chocolate chip cookies. I’m gluten free (celiac) so he saw them at the store and brought them in for me. He has no idea I’m pregnant - or that he made my week.
@christac1010 what a lovely cube-mate! I also have celiacs, and that would have made my day too, preggo or not!
Today I am grateful for working at home. I started a new job working remotely a few months ago, and it has been such a blessing in these early pregnancy days. The heat index here is well above 100 today, and I am so glad I am not commuting in this heat!
I am thankful for God, for he has been with me through this difficult journey of trying to have another baby. I'm hopeful that this time we will have our second living child. We are so grateful to be able to potentially complete our family.
We have two sleeping beauties in heaven. Jack gained his wings on 09/02/2016. Kali gained her wings on 07/28/2015. They will be forever missed.
@chocolatelemons I'll piggyback off of yours! I feel so lucky to have this time with DS and also to be able to work. I don't think I could SAHM full-time and I feel like teaching gives me the best of both worlds.
@thedaint87 I compelty agree. I fully appreciate and admire both working moms and SAHM becuase I get to see a touch of both. And I love getting to have both. I need to work but I miss my baby when I’m there.
I'm also thankful for my summers off and, selfishly, this week I'm super grateful that I'm not surrounded by a bunch of 5th graders while feeling this pukey!
I’m thankful for getting pregnant naturally this go around even though we were told it wouldn’t happen. This is our little miracle babe ❤️

I'm thankful that my embryo transfer went well today, I did practically nothing today (except play with an energetic 2 year old...), and until nature tells me otherwise, I am pregnant! Also thankful my clinic does 3 tests in the TWW.
I’m thankful for AC and tow trucks. Yesterday was a day from you know where, and I sat on an on ramp to the highway for 3 hours. As awful as it was, the tow truck driver was the nicest guy and I was so happy for a cool bedroom when I finally got home! (How was anyone ever pregnant before the wondrous invention of AC? Haha)
I love this post; I am glad I saw it today though because yesterday was rotten and it would have been harder to come up with something. For mine, I'm thankful for this lil' babe and for being a SAHM. After yesterday's craziness, I'm thankful to be staying home today! And I am beyond thankful that my 2 yo has decided she wants to start using the potty again! (She is being treated for a UTI and the past week has been rough.) @mamaoftwomonkeys: Ugh, that is a terrible day for sure! Glad that's behind you. @bdesterhouse: I love yours and I feel the same way! @christac1010@JLaVO888: I love it when people go out of their way to treat people kindly! It needs to happen more often.
Love this thread! I'm thankful to God for this blessing, and for my husband who has been so sweet about asking how I'm feeling and if I need anything already! (Also, last night at Target he said, "let's go look down all the baby aisles!"

And, like @lovesclimbing & @JLaVO888: NO PUKE TODAY!
@christac1010 How are those chocolate chip cookies? That’s so sweet that your cubicle mate brought them for you!
