Thanks @wishiwaspreggo I was really surprised this morning. I waiting until today to test at all and haven't been feeling much in the way of symptoms so I assumed I was out! Blood draw Friday...hoping for a good beta!

Just got my BFP yesterday after 5 months of trying after a mc. I had been hanging out on the TTCAL board but took a break because TB kept eating my response posts and it was making me crazy!

I tested 8dpo, so am still about a week from when I would get my period. It looks like my due date would be around March 9?

Really hoping this one sticks! Congratulations to the everyone who is here so far! (Looks like not many just yet?)

Due March 2nd if online pregnancy calculator is corect. Very nervous though because *trigger* since last December I have experienced two chemical pregnancies and one miscarriage. Trying not to get overly excited as by this point I feel like there is just something wrong with me

My name is Jennifer and I'm pregnant for the first time! I'm currently 4 weeks 5 days and my estimated due date is March 2nd. The hubby and I just had a prenatal confirmation appt and my first blood draw. I'm super excited, anxious, nervous and overall bursting with joy to be a first time mom!

Hi! New here! Got my first time BFP this Tuesday! Had an appt yesterday where they drew blood and did vaginal ultrasound which I found to be weird. Anyone have an ultrasound this early?! It did nothing but freak me out! According to online calculators I think my EDD is March 4th but Doc didnt see anything on ultrasound and thinks I'm even earlier than I realize.... so who knows! As of now, it's definitely looking like a March baby for me! Congrats to everyone!!

@indigoheightsblog I had a vaginal ultrasound with my first at around 6 weeks because I wasn’t sure how far along I was. I know they saw a fetal pole, sac and heartbeat which I think is the earliest all of that can be detected. Not sure what they were expecting to see at 4-5 weeks

I agree, @indigoheightsblog, that’s kind of strange that they did an u/s so early. Had you been having any strong cramping or, like, bleeding or anything? Wonder if they actually thought you were further along, or if there’d been reason to look for multiples.

@chocolatelemons - i agree i'm not sure what he was looking for! @mill1020, literally nothing!!! no cramping no bleeding i feel great! at this point i hardly feel pregnant to be honest! literally no reason to do an u/s..... so bizarre and now i have to wait all concerned. i'm considering switching doctors mostly for proximity to my home - but also because that first appointment really discouraged me.

I just called yesterday to make my first appointment and they scheduled me for an ultrasound. From my calculations, I’ll be about 7 weeks. I am high risk, though. I’m 39 and I had gestational diabetes with my first, along with a few other issues. My daughter is 4 now, so I don’t really remember much about all the screening and testing. Just remember that worrying is not good for you. Try to keep a positive outlook as best you can!! Chin up little mama!

@nursejamie79 I was high risk in my last pregnancy too! GD and hypertension caused me to have to be on bed rest for 4 weeks and have my son via induction. Here’s to us having better luck this time! Congrats on your new little one!

@navete Ugh same!! I’ve probably already overposted becuase I can’t contain myself. I’m off for the summer and DD is sick so I’m stuck inside with only my thoughts and need to chat about all things pregnancy. I’ve tried starting a few GTKY to try and pick things up in case people were shy about posting but it’s not helping much.

@JLaVO888 You’re doing a great job, and have definitely helped pick up the activity! I was pulling my hair out last week with how slow things were, I even started lurking the other BMBs and went down the rabbithole of a few dramas lol. I also downloaded like a gazillion pregnancy apps and started stalking What to Expect and Baby Center boards...yep, I’m just slightly obsessed

I’m sorry your DD is feeling unwell. I hope she feels better soon.

Alright ladies, I emailed my doctor this afternoon. She now knows and is being completely supportive of my anxieties and understands why I am hesitant to get my levels checked or get an early ultrasound. Just thinking about getting an ultrasound done gives me anxiety to the max.

Yeah that’s hard! I would agree with FF unless that day 20 temp was a fluke then I’d go with day 17. I know temping orally can really mess with your temps sometimes and make them go up and down like that quite a bit. I don’t think it was day 14 though. Did you have any other O signs to go off of? CM, OPK, O pain?

Hahah right? Every temp was between 6:15-7:15 am except day 12, and I had traveled that weekend so I know that can mess with it! I didn't test other signs because the month prior I only ever got a very light opk which the instructions said didn't count (unlike the pregnancy test! Why is it different ), so I decided not to bother and just collect temp data to start. But logically I know babies come when they are ready which can be late or early, even when you do know the exact ovulation!! Thank you for needing out about it with me though

Oh! Also, my moms bday is March 4th. Dd was born the 16th and this one is due the 18th so not really her exact bday but still two grand baby birthday presents for her! Your honestly more likely to have baby on your mom’s bday if your DD isn’t her bday lol!

Yeah OPKs can be such a pain. But I did learn a cool fact about ovulation hormones and pregnancy hormones becuase I was out of HPT this cycle so I used an OPK to test with just for fun and then fell down a google rabbit hole (not that google is always reliable of course but it’s the TwW’s BFF) until I confirmed with HPT. Here is the info I found just in case you’re curious.
