Ticker change simply means that you have started a new week of pregnancy. For example, I go from 26 weeks to 27 weeks on Wednesday 7/4 , so my “ticker” changes on Wednesdays. It is our way of marking a milestone.

Re: Wednesday Ticker Change (July 4)
1. How many weeks are you? What size is baby?
27 - Bike helmet (for what head size?!?)
2. How are you feeling?
Pretty good. A bit tired and stressed, but that has more to do with my dog than pregnancy. (We need to get him back on his regular schedule, all the things are confusing and stressful to him right now.)
3. Any appointments this week?
Nope.
4. Rants/raves/questions?
Nope.
5. GTKY: Favorite holiday? Any special traditions you’re looking forward to sharing with LO?
This is my favorite holiday, and I can’t wait until Blast is old enough for xer first boy scout sandwich, fireworks, boat ride, puzzles, and all the other things my family does for the holiday.
1. How many weeks are you? What size is baby?
27 weeks, lettuce
2. How are you feeling?
Still feeling well. Some RLP when walking, peeing every 20 minutes, but overall still considering myself lucky.
3. Any appointments this week?
None until late July. My last appt was last Thursday and everything went well. Received the glucola drink and have to do it in the next week.
4. Rants/raves/questions?
Just can’t believe this is the last week of the second trimester for me!
5. GTKY: Favorite holiday? Any special traditions you’re looking forward to sharing with LO?
Christmas is probably my favorite holiday. I am very excited though for our LO’s first 4th of July when she is old enough to enjoy the fireworks.
@knottieamusements are you also due 10/3? At my AS my LO was measuring just a couple of days behind. I saw the calculations showed her to be measuring for a 10/5 due date, but it wasn’t different enough to formally change my due date. If everything were (in a perfectly planned world) to go as predicted my due date is less then 3 months away. Crazy!
1. How many weeks are you? What size is baby?
27- lettuce
2. How are you feeling?
Good actually! Peeing a lot, sometimes I pee then go to walk around and pee more?! Tired too but I'm used to that now

I'm feeling the babies kick so much more and I love it!! It's so cool just laying down and watching my stomach move all over the place.

Everything from October to new years!! That's going to be the busiest time for us now with the babies birthday, our Anniversary, Halloween, my birthday, Thanksgiving, DHs birthday, Christmas, new years!!!
I think Christmas is going to be my favorite though, it's so magical and beautiful to see all the lights and snow (for like 2 weeks then in over it) the joy people get, sharing those moments with the babies. I'm so excited!!
Happy fourth and happy late Canada day everyone!!

5. GTKY: Favorite holiday? Any special traditions you’re looking forward to sharing with LO? I do love Xmas, especially since I’ve onky been celebrating it for the last 5 yrs. Definitely Christmas - we don't do big Christmas but just love all the love and family time we get to spend. We see our families a lot throughout the year but there is something just magical about Christmas (and we don't even get snow lol).4th of July is definitely up there in one of my favorite holidays - summer meals, beaches, water fun, and beautiful fireworks filled nights. I love it!! We do fireworks and usually go camping this week (not this year due to mid-week) but smores and all the summer fun! I can't wait to have my complete little tribe of 3 boys to share this with!!
1. How many weeks are you? What size is baby?
25--the size of a baseball glove!
2. How are you feeling?
Still feeling good. I get some RLP when I'm out for walks but it feels much better as the walk goes on. Thankfully not too much swelling in this hot weather!
3. Any appointments this week?
Found a new primary care doctor that I am meeting tomorrow. We moved last year and my old doctor is great but she's too far away. I figured I should find somebody before baby gets here.
4. Rants/raves/questions?
It's darn hot. Feeling a little cooped up at home, but went out and got some new library books last night and am working on a wedding quilt for DH's brother and his fiancee.
5. GTKY: Favorite holiday? Any special traditions you’re looking forward to sharing with LO?
Thanksgiving is my favorite because it's all about food and family! Can't wait till this Thanksgiving when our little turkey is here!
1. How many weeks are you? What size is baby?
27 - Big Mac meal or lettuce depending on your healthy preferences
2. How are you feeling?
Still feeling good! Getting a little stressed about the number of things we haven’t done, yet, though!
3. Any appointments this week?
Not ‘til next week
4. Rants/raves/questions?
We have a crib! Now to get the room ready...
5. GTKY: Favorite holiday? Any special traditions you’re looking forward to sharing with LO?
I love thanksgiving for the cooking and family get togethers, so that one probably more so in a few years once LO can wield a whisk
Christmas has always been more low key for us, but I love it! Hoping we can keep that feel once LO shows up.
Basically, you cook the bacon, remove it from the grease, drop an egg in the grease and then add back the bacon before it is fully cooked so the bacon cooks into the egg white; add pepper. It is then served on cheap wheat bread.
It has been part of our family tradition since my dad was a little boy.
1. How many weeks are you? What size is baby?
25, a bag of microwave popcorn
2. How are you feeling?
tired, heartburn, getting anxious for the third trimester
3. Any appointments this week?
This coming Monday I have a regular OB apt and I do the 1hr glucose test
4. Rants/raves/questions?
Eh not really, just want to be able to sleep for days but also want energy to get stuff done!
5. GTKY: Favorite holiday? Any special traditions you’re looking forward to sharing with LO?
Christmas is my favorite but really the whole fall season through Christmas is my favorite time of year. I love the cool crisp refreshing fall days, pumpkins and hayrides and then all of that leading up to the magic of Christmas. The extra time with family and friends is the best and witnessing it all through my DD again makes everything 1000x more exciting. I cant wait to share it with this baby
