Do I have to breastfeed for a whole year? It's been six months, and I'm kind of over it

    No, you can quit whenever you want to. But, you can’t just let yourself dry up, you’ll have to start breastfeeding less and lightly hand express when feeling full or you can stimulate them to keep producing, but, you can’t avoid hand expressing, just because you can cause mastitis or galactocele (milk filled cyst).
