I just got out of a follow up from my first prenatal appointment. They found bacteria in my urine so they are putting me on antibiotics. I'm not too pleased but I guess it's best that it was caught early. I just hate the idea of taking antibiotics on an iffy stomach or taking them for nothing. I don't have any UTI symptoms and I'm relatively familiar with them... FX I can take them with no side effects.

My first appointment is Thursday and it’s all I can think about! I’ll be 6w4d and I know I’m not supposed to have an US but I’m going to try to talk my doc into it. I got pregnant less than a week after having mirena removed so I’m worried bc I never had a period.

@Erinm278i got pregnant really fast after mirena removed too but I actually did have my period but it literally started a few days after I had it removed !

Had my first appointment on Monday- blood work, ultrasound(yay!), then met with the nurse and then the doctor- she was already asking if I wanted to try a VBAC! Not sure I’m ready to make that decision yet!

I’ve had three blood draws now, spaced a week apart. I was informed today that my white blood cell count has been elevated. They asked if I’ve been sick, which I haven’t been aside from pregnancy symptoms so who knows. I’m going in Thursday for another viability scan since my beta didn’t have great doubling time, yet we did have a HB last Tuesday (6w3d) coming in at 110. I’m a nervous wreck.

Had an appointment Monday. Just basic appointment. Scheduled my US for 2 weeks (I’ll be 8w) and talked about the genetic testing at 10weeks.

1st pregnancy - EDD based on Last period is Feb 8. 1st appt is Scheduled for July 4 but I’ve been spotting (pink when wiping) every day for a week & yesterday it turned red. Dr told me to go to emerg. I had blood drawn & HcG was 15,000. They did a bedside ultrasound but the Dr said he wanted me to come back the next day for a proper one. I just had an abdominal & vaginal one. I’m now waiting for the results.

@ruby696 thank you so much. My results are inconclusive. I have to go back for more blood work tomorrow & an ultrasound in 1 week.

**** TW - based on my last period I should be 7w4d but I didn’t get a BFP until I was 7 days late so I thought I might have ovulated later. Anyways the ultrasound identified a gestational sac but it measured 6w4d and they couldn’t conclusively see a yok sac or fetal pole - they said it could go either way at this point. I left the hospital & went straight to a McDonals drive thru to eat my feelings.

Appointment went ok. Repeat ultrasound should exactly 7 days of growth but heart rate was only 112 at 7w0d. Up from 101 a week ago. My doctor wants me to to come back in another week for a recheck. She said if it was 120 she would have felt a lot better. I was feeling pretty good but now another week of wait and see. Trying to stay positive

Had my US - just one little bean measuring 6w2d (only two days off my guess) with a FHR of 117 and an EDD of 2/18!

I had my 1st appt. yesterday and baby was moving and we could see its heartbeat. This is #2 for us and we are so excited! Due to my cycles being thrown of by traveling before I conceived baby's EDD is 2/7 instead of 1/30.

First appt was today - 8w 0d with official EDD of 2/7! HB was 160. My PGAL brain breathed a small sigh of relief. I weigh about as much as I did when my second was born right now, which is causing me a lot of anxiety. I’ve had a rough couple of years and just couldn’t get the weight off and keep it off. So now, since my BMI is above 30, I have to do the 1 hour glucose at 12 weeks even though I have no GD history from either of my previous pregnancies. Blergh.

Had my first US this week. (Posted photo on US board) Everything was fine, HB was great.

But I've been spotting a little every afternoon since. Has anyone else spotted after that first US? I wouldn't think I'd be so jumpy over spotting, but here I am a nervous wreck.

I’m still in limbo. Bloodwork came back & HcG increased, but barely. 36 hour difference only increased from 15,575 to 16,238. I still have to wait for the follow up ultrasound next thursday

had my first appointment yesterday and Doc gave me an US which was a huge relief! Baby looks great..I almost passed out after my blood work though. Sometimes that happens to me BUT I got 2 juice boxes and pop tarts of of the deal so that's cool.

I had an eventful appointment this week. I didn’t realize that they would do so much so I took all three kids with me. They were well educated after watching me pee in a cup, get a breast exam, a pelvic exam and a trans vaginal ultrasound. If I had realized it was going to be that kind of appointment I would have gotten a babysitter. Oh, well. They will learn it all someday. And they were really good.

We had our first ultrasound today!! I was way off in my estimate. I am 6 weeks exactly with an EDD of February 22nd. We got to see the little flickering heartbeat at 126 bpm!!!! It looks like a little blob!

My appointment was today and seeing that teeny little blob and hearing a heartbeat made it all so real! I don’t know why I’ve been in denial since peeing on that first stick, but it finally feels real. Measured at 7w4d with an EDD of 2/11. Yay!

We briefly talked about vaginal vs csection delivery since I had a partial 4th degree tear with my first. I asked to put that discussion on the back burner for a while. It’s a lot to think about.

@bananster1 it is a lot to think about, and you may feel differently as your pregnancy progresses. I had bad tearing with my first, and Then cs and Then vbac with the next two. My advice is to have an experienced doc actually examine you, if necessary (tmi? I have some lasting damage from my tearing), and to keep on asking for what you want. With good information you'll know what kind of risk you're comfortable with.
And yippee for that little heartbeat!
