TTC After a Loss

Hello

I was not sure if there is a dedicated presentation post, I did not find it if there is one! So, I'm sadly new here, I lost my daughter at 20+2 weeks due to a weak cervix at the beginning of march. She was our first child, after a year of trying naturally, I took clomid (I have pcos) and got lucky the first month. I'm now on month 2 of TTC this time with femara (Clomid is no more available in Canada) and hoping we get our rainbow.

Re: Hello

  • I am so sorry you find yourself here. I hope your stay is short.
    Hugs from another Canadian
PS if you can change your username it would be helpful to tell you apart from other knotties

  • I’m so sorry for your loss! I hope the femara works quickly but in the meantime this is a wonderfully supportive group, so welcome!
  • I’m so sorry for your loss <3 hugs from a fellow Canadian as well! Our stories sound very similar. I also have PCOS, first pregnancy first loss, and I am also now 2 months TTCAL. Our first was conceived with femara and we’re trying that again now too. FX you’re not here long, but in the meantime welcome! The ladies here are wonderfully supportive :)
  • So sorry for your loss.  Hopefully femara works for you.  Welcome
  • I'm very sorry for your loss (from yet another Canadian).  This is a great board with super supportive ladies.  Fx that femara does the trick for you.
  • Very sorry for your loss. I’m new here too and have found it comforting. Fingers crossed for your rainbow baby soon!

Thanks for the welcome (sorry for the late response, I had trouble getting back on the board. I managed to change my user name too (I think). I’m in the TWW and really hoping it worked this time. I’m due back at work at the end of July, unless I get pregnant first.
  • Welcome to the board.  I'm so sorry for your loss, I can't imagine how heartbreaking that was :heartbreak:
