Symptoms? Pretty tired still, but my nausea has not been around for the past 2 days.. hoping it stays away. Insomnia crept in over the weekend.
Also.. this belly is out there. Woof. R/R/Q I was nervous about telling my friend that’s been TTC for almost a year that I’m pregnant, but she seemed to take the news really well. She told me that they’re actually holding off on TTC for a month or 2 because they’re moving/starting new jobs and have a lot of stress going on. I still really, really hope she gets pregnant soon. Upcoming appointment? My second appt is next Thursday.
GTKY: If you didn't have to sleep, what would you do with the extra time?
Probably clean my house.. that’s lame, but it’s something that always gets put on the back burner.
Anything else? I need to stop eating ALL THE THINGS. So hungry.
Married: May 2012 DS1: May 2016 DS2: Jan 2019 Baby #3 EDD: 6/18/24
Symptoms? I can mostly keep the nausea at bay if I eat every two hours or so. My boobs HURT, I can't even lay on my stomach. I'm super tired, I don't remember being this tired last time.
R/R/Q My optometrist is making me come in to see him so I can switch to daily contacts. I was really hoping to just order them. Upcoming appointment? Ultrasound tomorrow with my RE. Next week I have my NIPT draw and first OB appt. GTKY: If you didn't have to sleep, what would you do with the extra time? Go to the gym more.
Symptoms? Tired(which can also be blamed on DD waking up MOTN the past couple nights), carsickness, increased insulin resistance
R/R/Q I haven’t been great at staying away from carbs. It’s all I want, but I should be avoiding them. I basically have 3 treatment options-stay diet controlled through a very low carb diet, eventually keto, take oral meds, or take meal time insulin(which is what I did last time). The choice that would work best for me is insulin, but my OB considers this to mean that my diabetes is “worse” so I would be higher risk, have more interventions and an earlier induction date. I find that really irritating because my diabetes is the same either way, there’s no reason that choosing oral meds (or even keto) over insulin means that I’m “better controlled.”
Upcoming appointment? I see my Endo on 7/2.
GTKY: If you didn't have to sleep, what would you do with the extra time? Work on craft projects and research various topics.
Anything else? 9 months of being hungry all the time feels so much longer now that I’m actually in it.
What is your EDD? January 22nd, according to my LMP. Symptoms? Nausea, exhaustion, feeling really hot, occasional bad taste in my mouth. R/R/Q I hate feeling limited by my symptoms; I have too many things planned and too many projects going to be exhausted and nauseous! Upcoming appointment? My first appointment is next week, though I’m thinking of moving it to this week. I want to wait until we hear the heartbeat before we tell our kids (and pretty much everyone else) that we’re expecting. But my little pregnancy bump is getting hard to hide, and H’s brothers guessed on Saturday, so I want to be able tell our kids before they hear it from someone else. GTKY: If you didn't have to sleep, what would you do with the extra time? So much. I probably still wouldn’t have time for it all. I would be more involved in the political projects I want to help with. And my house would be cleaner. Anything else?
What is your EDD? Updated to 1/21 as of yesterday’s appointment.
Symptoms? Nausea, exhaustion/insomnia
R/R/Q see below Upcoming appointment? first appointment was yesterday and we have another in two weeks to check on baby GTKY: If you didn't have to sleep, what would you do with the extra time? spend some more time with my kids. As a working mom, I feel like I never get enough time with them. Anything else? (Copied from weekly randoms) We had our first appointment yesterday and the nugget was dancing all around the screen. There is a mass on the baby’s abdomen that the dr was mildly worried about. He couldn’t tell what it was and said we will check again in two weeks. So now I get to freak out for the next two weeks. Has anyone experienced this before?
Symptoms? I thought the nausea was gone, but it was back in full force today. Also so tired. I tried to take a nap in my car during lunch, but it was too hot.
R/R/Q: Rave: I'm 95% sure that I found the baby's heartbeat on the doppler last night. I'm going to make DH try tonight to verify. Rant: my toddler is in a clingy mommy phase right now. It makes it so hard to do anything around the house because he cries when I leave the room.
Upcoming appointment? Had a great appointment last week. Next one is July 19th for OB and then MFM in August.
GTKY: If you didn't have to sleep, what would you do with the extra time? Read. I would have said hiking in the past, but now I never have the energy for it!
Anything else? I don't have any advice, @achays11, but I'm thinking about you.
