last week i did two pregnancy tests: one on the first day that I should have gotten my period and another 3 days later. Both were negative. I still didnt get my period a week after so I tested again. Test came back positive with a faint line. Tested again 2 days later (yesterday) and the line was a little darker but still faint. I had a miscarriage in January at 7 weeks and had no symptoms only light spotting before I miscarried. I am just afraid that something is wrong since I haven’t had symptoms. Doctor still thinks it is fine to see him at 8 weeks. Is it abnormal to not have symptoms except for slight dizziness? Everything I read says that I should have nausea but I have felt nothing. Please let me know your experience. I feel like I am making myself crazy because of past experience.
Re: 6 weeks 3 days and no symptoms- help!
I was to say that having or lacking symptoms are not always indicators of a loss or progressing pregnancy. Many women go on to have healthy pregnancies without symptoms while others may still experience a loss with the strongest of symptoms. Everyone is different. You may want to check with your doctor if they can test your betas and at least see if they are rising as they should. Best of luck!

That said, I agree. Your doctor can take blood tests to see if things are progressing appropriately, and may give you some peace of mind. I didn't have much in the way of symptoms early on, either, and really no MS at all! Moreso lots of heartburn. Every pregnancy is different, and symptoms are not necessarily an indicator of viability, despite whatever measure of pgal comfort they may provide.
That said, **TW miscarriage/pregnancy loss** With my first pregnancy I had a missed miscarriage. I also had minimal symptoms and didn’t even know I was miscarrying until I went in at 8 weeks for my first appointment and ultrasound. I didn’t have any bleeding or other signs of miscarriage. My doctors now know about that first loss, and they still felt it was fine to wait for 8 weeks to see me this time. ***end TW***
This pregnancy, I went in at 8 weeks for my appointment and baby looked great on the ultrasound and was moving around all over. I had the same “symptoms/lack of symptoms” with both pregnancies, so I try not to dwell on it. Just enjoy that you are feeling well and functional! And congratulations
