    39 weeks!  Wahoo!!!!  A box of a dozen donuts, full rack of Baby Back ribs, the body of a violin, pumpkin

    New/Interesting/Festering Symptoms
    Just sooooooooooo much pressure.  Lots of contractions.  Spent the morning in L&D on Friday with timeable, painful contractions, but no progress.  They eventually stopped.  It sucked.

    I was never this uncomfortable with the other two.  This is a tall baby because it is both in my pelvis and in my ribs.  Oy.

    How are you and H/SO preparing relationship-wise for the newest addition?
    We finally buckled down this weekend and got everything done.  Now we are just waiting.  He works a lot so I don't really think it will affect him as much as it will affect me, with my two other kids home with me as well all summer.  I hope he is just prepared to deal with my hormones, along with my anxiety!

    last day of work today! Really want baby to come any time, but would like to have the rest of the week to finish my list of things I want to get done.

    How are you and H/SO preparing relationship-wise for the newest addition?
    Not sure how to prepare relationship wise. We talk about how we think our lives are going to be different after, but really have no idea what to expect. We notice how our other friends/siblings are handling babies and kids, and we talk about what we like and don't like about how they do. But then I always follow up with we don't really know.
    TTC History:
    Me: 36 H: 40 Married 2015. Together since 2010.
    TTC: Sept 2016-Oct 2017
    BFP Oct 2017. DD born July 2018.
    TTC: March 2020. BFP March 2020
    Due date was Nov 2020
    DS born Sept 2020. DS passed away Nov 2020 due to prematurity and birth trauma.
    TTC: March 2021
    IUI #1 Nov 2021, BFN
    IUI #2 Dec 2021 BFP.  MC Jan 2022
    IUI #3 Aug 2022 BFN
    IUI #4 Sept 2022 BFN
    AMH test came back at .081. Was going to move on to IVF with DE, but have decided not to. Will be leaving it up to the universe now.

    I’ve been super crampy and having contractions (still). I pinched a nerve in my neck/upper back like 2 weeks ago and it’s still giving me problems!

    Appointments/US this week
    Today! Went from 1cm last week to 2cm today and baby moved down so she can now feel his head! Just a waiting game at this point.

    I have no energy or patience for my 2 year old. Him not listening and me not being able to chance him/pull him out from under his bed is becoming super annoying. 55% of the time he’s sweet and listens well but the other 45%. UGH. I keep finding myself yelling and really I’m blaming it on this pregnancy. I’m so over it. It’s draining me and I’m exhausted. 

    How are you and H/SO preparing relationship-wise for the newest addition?
     We’re not. Our relationship didn’t change much, if at all, with the first (or we’re just in a new normal). But, either way I’m not too worried.

    Eviction is set for Thursday! I'll be induced if s/he doesnt come before then. She thinks I have a lot of fluid making it difficult for more progression, and theres scar tissue on my cervix from a LEEP procedure I had a year and a half ago that is also making it difficult. She thinks jump starting and then breaking my water will be just the ticket, although there is concern for baby to flip with the extra fluid. I'm scared to be induced, but happy to have a plan! She was not ok waiting until due date (Monday).

    @paytonpedro no progress made. Still about 2cm dilated. But holy effing shit. The OB who checked last week was super gentle and it wasn’t uncomfortable at all and I had no cramping or spotting after. The lady who checked me today I wouldn’t be surprised if she just put me into labor. OUCH!!  I started spotting as soon as I was wiping up putting my pants back on. Wtf. When making next weeks appt I definitely didn’t schedule with her, and don’t plan on ever seeing her again and I pray to the baby gods that she’s not on call when I have the baby.

    @rachelsogo maybe she was rough on purpose??? Mine was today and I was definitely spotting and I'm very crampy now. But she should really check if you're ok with it first of she IS trying to stir things up!

    I’m sorry, I’m just being a lurker right now but @rachelsogo is it possible she did a sweep/stripped your membranes while she was in there? That could explain why it hurt so much more and caused spotting. This happened to me my last pregnancy and I was never told that’s what they were doing. Just wanted to mention It.

    @WorkinWeezel I would’ve liked a warning or something! I pushed back so far away it hurt so bad.

    @zande2016 it’s possible! I thought about that. She didn’t say anything about doing that, so I’m not sure. If I end up going into labor shortly I guess I can forgive her

    @WorkinWeezel There’s a light at the end of the tunnel!! 

    @rachelsogo yeah, some people are definitely more rough. I wouldn’t schedule with her again either. When I went to be induced with my first, the midwife on call at the hospital (whom I’d never met) had the SHORTEST fingers ever and was very rough. It was horrible. But hopefully her being a little rough will get things kick started for you!

    So after my appointment yesterday, I did the baby mama dance (for the second time) and did the dishes then relaxed. When dh got home we went for a walk. By the time it was time for bed, I went pee and when I wiped I lost a lot (if not the rest of) my mucus plug which had some brown blood in it. I was so hopeful last night but all I had was more cramping which has continued this morning. Moving in the right direction, but not there yet I guess.

    @WorkinWeezel haha for real. I yelled to DH and he’s like “yeah I’m not interested.” Hahaha. Just a bunch of cramping still but nothing else :/
