Hi my son is 8 weeks today. And so far been great. Bt its hard to do any House cleaning or cooking... Once he is fed n put him down for a nap. .nt even a 10 mins hes awake...i wrap him n his blanket...bt he doesn't stay asleep. I let him cry to calm himself bt i give in n pick him up....den i get frustrated wen he does it again....i knw im suppose to b by him always jt im by myself all day....my bf works n he doesn't like to come home to a messy home....i ask for help from family bt none live near us....so its hard to get anything done....

    Don't get frustrated, this is very normal. Babies need to be held and comforted a lot at this stage. Maybe try wearing him to see it helps you get some things done. Otherwise tell your boyfriend to shove it if he complains about a messy house - newborns are hard and take up a ton of time.

    Yes, baby wearing will help. Other than that, let the bf cry it out, not the baby. Hes not this small forever and the house will eventually get cleaned.
