hi, I’m doing a natural IUI cycle and on my CD12 ultrasound today, I had one large round black circle that the trainee thought was “probably a cyst” because it was quite big. My uterine lining measured 7.4. Well, apparently based on my blood work, my RE thinks I should trigger tonight and do IuI tomorrow. My LH is 10 and my estrogen almost 300. Can he really be sure based on this info along that there’s actually a good egg in my ovary?!
Could be different but when that happened to me (I was also taking injectables at that time) I had a “lead follicle” but my estrogen wasn’t going up. At CD13 the “lead follicle” just disappeared - it was a cyst. Next cycle my estrogen continued to rise with the growth of the follicle. I’d be a bit skepticle but it’s still there so you never know - they apparently look very similar on U/S.
