My husband and I settled on the name Knox for our son, but we've gotten some negative feedback recently and I'd love some honest opinions on it from you guys. His name would be Knox David. Is it too weird? We picked it because we wanted something "different," but not "weird different." Is it too much?
@midwestmom12 My husband was iffy about it until he realized his initials would be KD. He's a big basketball fan and the Kevin Durant comparison was enough to sway him haha. Also, one of his friends mentioned that if he plays basketball, they could say "nobody gets past Fort Knox!" He was giddy about it after that!
I think your only problem with Knox is that you told people you know and are letting their opinions sway you. I think it's best to either 1. keep the name to yourself until the baby is born or 2. love the name so much that you don't care what people say about it while you're pregnant.
I think Knox is a good choice. If you love it, own it.

Haha, I can so relate to this! DH tests out every name by how it would sound announced before a b-ball game.

This is exactly what comes to mind every time I hear this name. Really, this name is a little tired. It seems to be used enough to be kind of stale.
