A perfect place to talk about how our LOs are sleeping. Have you started the transition to their own room? Have you tried any sleep training? Let's discuss...
At 3 months my LO was quickly out growing his bassinet. We decided to just put him in his crib and he did wonderful. He’s been sleeping in his crib every night since then. He’s now sleeping from 11:30pm- 7:30am (thank heavens) this momma can actually get a good full nights sleep.
We moved from the bassinet pretty early - it was not good for anyone. We used the rock-n-play (in the den) a lot before we went to the crib. Then we started with a nap or two in the crib around 2.5 months and went overnight in her nursery for the first time at 3 months. We haven't looked back! Sleep is amazing and I am happy for all of us that we can get what we need. She has been sleeping from 7:30/8P - 6:30A for a good while now. I don't take for granted what a great sleeper she is. I am very grateful!

We've been very lucky with sleep as well. My LO has been sleeping through the night for a while. We just transitioned from the rock n play to the crib a couple weeks ago. She started waking up crying a few times throughout the night. We bought her this sleep sack thing and she's back to sleeping all night. She loves it thank goodness. I highly recommend it if you're having sleep issues.

My son loves these. He loved being swaddled when he was born, then he started to Houdini his arms out. I found these and they’re amazing.
Do you ladies have tips on making the transition to the crib? We're possible going to make an attempt to begin the transition this weekend . I'm afraid it's going to lead to me getting less sleep.

@SoldiersMom I would start by putting your LO in the crib for naps. Luckily my LO took the crib on his first night without a transition, and has been sleeping in it since then. I slept horrible my first night, cause I was afraid I wouldn’t hear him, but I did. Fingers crossed, everything works out for you and your LO. Keep us updated and let us know how it went. Good luck!
@jcbh2018 We didn't do it this weekend. Buuutt...as of Monday he is rolling over so he needs to be in the crib. The travel pack n play is just too small for a roller. I'm nervous because he isn't sleeping through the night yet. We don't do nighttime feedings unless he absolutely will not go back to sleep, but he is waking up during his sleep stage transitions. It usually starts about 2 am and he will go back to sleep but wakes again almost hourly. I try not to pick him up and rock him back to sleep but I do get up and give him his bink. Since he's right next to our bed, I don't have to fully wake up and can easily get back to sleep myself. I'm just worried now, on top of waking up every time he wakes up, I'll be walking across the hall so I won't be able to get back to sleep so easily.

@SoldiersMom I’m the same exact way. His room is on the opposite side of house, he’ll wake up occasionally some nights and I won’t feed him unless it’s an absolute must. Usually he just takes his binky and goes back to sleep. Trust me, you’ll have no problem going back to sleep (at least I don’t) lol. But good luck with it all. Please keep me updated on any progress.
@jchb2018 so we made the move Friday night and he did well! I had to go in a time or two when he woke up but for the most part he slept a lot better. Howeverrr...if it's not one thing, it's another and now that we've gotten him sleeping a little better, he had moved into teething. Tuesday night was rough and Wednesday he kicked my butt. I work from home on Wednesday and we rode the struggle bus all day

@SoldiersMom yay! Glad to hear about the progress. I do believe my LO is teething, nothing is popping out yet, but boy, he has water works coming out his mouth and constantly try’s to hew everything. Hope you can get a full nights sleep soon.
@jcbh2018 same here! I give our little guy cold, damp washcloths to gnaw on or his spoons because they are the soft plastic kind (not the coated metal type). He doesn't seem to like teething rings too much.

Oh no. At 4 1/2 months my LO is now going through “sleep regression” HELP ME!!! Lol I know it’s just a phase, but may this pass quick. Any other mommas out there dealt with this yet? Or before? (if your a 2nd time mom) any tips or tricks and how long did yours last?
@jcbh2018 Sleep regression hit us hard! Or it was a growth spurt or both at the same time or back to back. Either way my sttn baby went to waking up every 3 hrs (at the least if not more), nursing during the night, and fighting to go to sleep. It was ROUGH! And I think lasted like the whole damn month but now we are back on track sttn, not fighting sleep that much, etc. But homegirl also gained 1.5 lbs in a month so...she had a huge growth spurt and all that jazz lol It does get better!
@conineml It must be something in the water, lol my son is still going through it, counting on week #5 now. It seems to be getting a little better, but I can’t wait for him to go back to sleeping his full 10 hours again.
