1. How many weeks are you? What size is baby? 21 Weeks! Baby is the size of a carrot!
2. How are you feeling? Overall good. I have had a little bit of acid reflux here and there, but nothing a little tums can't handle. The pelvic pain is unbearable and I am trying my hardest to hold out until my next appt.
3. Any appointments this week? Nope, still waiting for July 2
4. Rants/raves/questions? I got a pregnancy pillow on Amazon and the thing is HEAVEN! It's so soft and comfy! Totally worth the money.

19 weeks - mango! Closing in on the halfway point!
2. How are you feeling?
Okay. Nothing baby related is bothering me (actually, I feel great in that area). Just having ear pain and sinus issues still.
3. Any appointments this week?
Monday I finally see the MFM. I expect a very long appointment, especially since they're doing both an internal and external ultrasound. I'm half hoping that they'll make this my anatomy scan since I'll be about due, but I don't think that's how it's going to work.
4. Rants/raves/questions?
It baffles me that my husband can't feel baby moving for weeks or even months after I can clearly feel it from the outside, even when he's getting kicked in the face because he has his head resting on my lower stomach. Last time it took him until probably 28 weeks or so to finally sort of feel something and that was with twins!
5. GTKY: You're invited to a cookout and have to make a dish. What are you making??
Pasta salad, probably? I normally don't care for pasta salads, but the one my mom makes is delicious and pretty easy.
Or maybe the vegan rum cupcakes (with rum glaze and rum buttercream) I bring to parties that everyone always loves. You can't even tell they're vegan and they're so moist and yummy. The recipe is from Vegan Cupcakes Take Over the World if anyone wants to try it. I make them with Captain Morgan rum (it adds a nice subtle spice cake note even though it's not the best rum in the world) and Earth Balance for the margarine component.
@tessiesmom26 i love your gtky question so much... can you please start a boardwide thread for it?
@MojieJo i don’t think my dh EVER felt dd move when i was pregnant with her. anterior placenta. it was such a bummer! i have an anterior placenta this time too, boo.
1. How many weeks are you? What size is baby?
18w (yesterday). artichokes! mmmm artichokes.
2. How are you feeling?
good today! earlier this week was a whole nother story...
3. Any appointments this week?
a quick one with mfm, everything is looking good! something pretty neat— the tech looked at the blood flow in one of the brain vessels, and when i asked her about it, she said it was something new they just started looking at in the last two months because of recent research they read about it! such a cool real world reminder that the science community is always discovering new things.
4. Rants/raves/questions?
i had the *best* meal and dessert last night, and ate so much! crispy veggie spring rolls, grilled chicken with Vietnamese vermicelli noodles and pickled veggies, and an amazing spumoni chocolate bomb (basically a huge scoop of spumoni ice cream covered in hard chocolate). i’m so looking forward to this part of pregnancy where i get to over indulge pretty much guilt free... i mean, it’s basically my responsibility to eat a ton of food, and that feels nice.
1. How many weeks are you? What size is baby? 18 weeks, which for me is about the halfway point. My MFM doc says he expects me to get to 35-36 weeks with the twins. This kind of makes me an Oct mom, but I'm holding out that I'll make it to 37 weeks (Nov 2) - They are about the size of artichokes (or sweet potatoes)
2. How are you feeling?
Good! Other than the fact that I just feel fat. I don't really look like I have a bump and it makes me a little sad.
3. Any appointments this week?
Nope! It was a rare, appointment free week. I have 2 next week, though.
4. Rants/raves/questions?
I've finally resolved myself to the fact that I have to get rid of my Jeep since trying to fit 2 rear facing car seats in the back seat is not going to work. I LOVE my Jeep, so I'm sad to get rid of it, but the dealership called me in regards to one of their "secret sales for past customers," so I'm going to go take a look. I know a few people that have done this with the dealers and have ended up with a brand new car for the same payment - or less - than they currently have, without extending the term.
5. GTKY: You're invited to a cookout and have to make a dish. What are you making?? I make a cheesy dip that has Jimmy Dean Turkey Sausage Crumbles, Velveeta, and Rotel in it. It's so easy to make. I just serve it with tortilla chips and it always gets devoured.
@tessiesmom26 - I hope you find some pelvic relief soon!
1. How many weeks are you? What size is baby? 19 weeks, mango
2. How are you feeling? I'm so exhausted I could cry. Why is this happening in the 2nd tri? I can barely keep my eyes open during the day and I'm ready for bed by like 6 pm. I'm also having some sciatic pain which I hadn't had this early in pregnancy before but I'm guessing it's probably from the fact that I'm rarely working out lately.
3. Any appointments this week? None this week
4. Rants/raves/questions? I've been so on edge with H this week. He's been working very long hours and when he gets home he works out because he is trying to lose weight and get ready for a big race. I feel like I really try to be considerate of him but I don't feel the same coming my way. I basically take care of 99% of the childcare and housework, even when he's home. Feeling as exhausted as I do and getting no help makes for a really cranky wife.
5. GTKY: You're invited to a cookout and have to make a dish. What are you making?? Dessert, cut up fruit, or chips and guacamole. I wish I enjoyed cooking more.

@vrj0522 i would be so thankful if you brought cut up fruit... ime it’s usually the first thing that disappears. also, it’s nice that you are being so supportive of your husband’s goals, but it sucks that you're left to take over the vast majority of the childcare and housework, pregnant or not.
1. How many weeks are you? What size is baby? 17 weeks - pomegranate
2. How are you feeling? Overall a lot better. Still getting random bouts of nausea and exhausted - but that’s probably mostly due to work.
3. Any appointments this week? None this week. Next up is the anatomy scan July 5th!
4. Rants/raves/questions? I started two weeks of vacation today and I couldn’t be more excited. After being out of town for work for the last two weeks this is exactly what I needed. Even if we’re spending the majority of it doing Reno’s. Lol.
5. GTKY: You're invited to a cookout and have to make a dish. What are you making?? My go to is always buffalo chicken dip with tortilla chips. So easy and sooo good. Oh man... Now I want some!!
Beyond exhausted. I was really hopeful the 3 weeks that I got my energy back that this pregnancy would be different than my first 2, but the terrible exhaustion is back, so I guess it just is what it is. I’ve sat down while trying to clean up the living room like 3 times already this morning.
3. Any appointments this week?
Nope, just had my a/s last week. Next appt is the glucose test, blegh.
4. Rants/raves/questions?
Just mad I’m so exhausted.
5. GTKY: You're invited to a cookout and have to make a dish. What are you making? I can’t find my pin on Pinterest for it, but this really yummy quinoa Greek salad.
@tessiesmom26 I'm so sorry about the awful pelvic pain. That sounds terrible. I wonder if baby is sitting on a nerve or something? Also, is your due date November 2nd, too? We must have the same due date. @MojieJo MH has a lot of trouble distinguishing between the pulse in my abdomen and baby kicking. I think baby girl is really shy though, because she'll be moving around like crazy for me, and as soon as MH puts his hand on my belly, she stops. I've been feeling her on the outside for weeks, but MH still hasn't. Good luck at the appt on Monday. @smulrich16 Good luck with the car shopping. You'll have to let us know if you get a great deal on something new! @vrj0522 I'm sorry about YH. I mean, good for him that he is staying healthy and working out, but doing that on top of long days at work is not super fair to you. Have you been able to talk to him about it yet? What kind of race is he training for? @mellemarie Buffalo chicken dip is my go to as well!
1. How many weeks are you? What size is baby? 21w 1d; Chipotle burrito or an endive (WTF is an endive anyways?)
2. How are you feeling? I've had a lot of heartburn the past couple of days. Trying to pay attention to what I eat a bit more to see if something might be causing it. I didn't get heartburn with my daughter until near the very end, so I'm hoping this doesn't go on for the next 19 weeks.
3. Any appointments this week? Not until July 2nd for my follow up anatomy scan.
4. Rants/raves/questions? Went out to the store this morning to pick up bagels for me and H and a chocolate croissant for DD. Enjoying the leftover croissant and a nice hot cup of coffee right now. Great way to start a rainy Saturday.
5. GTKY: Since PP already chose buffalo chicken dip, I'll choose angel food cake with a lemon glaze. It's a nice light dessert for a summer day.
2. How are you feeling? great, I think I’m nesting already, definitely early this time! With this being baby #2 I thought I wouldn’t get organized until the closer to the end.
3. Any appointments this week?
Had the A/S Friday, everything looks great with baby boy! His legs are measuring long, DS as always been 100% for height so it looks like we have another tall boy on our hands.
4. Rants/raves/questions?
None
5. GTKY: You're invited to a cookout and have to make a dish. What are you making?? my go-to is veggies and dip, boring but always popular!
@offtoneverland Yes, my due date is November 2nd too! Due Date twins!! Although that is according to LMP and by my tracking it looks like October 30th, but my OBs office is going by November 2nd. I said the same thing about the endive but I looked it up and it's some sort of leafy thing. HA! Not much help..

@offtoneverland - Thanks! He is training for a Spartan Beast... 13-15 miles of running in mountains and 30-35 obstacles, so it's an intense one. We did have a heart to heart this weekend though and his reaction was great and he's been helpful the last couple of days. I'm just hoping it sticks.
