I know there are quite a few of us who are team green so I thought this might be fun!
1. Were you team green with your other babies? 2. Is your SO excited about being team green too? 3. Are you struggling with waiting especially now that so many people are having their anatomy scans? 4. How are names coming along? 5. Do you have a feeling it's a boy or a girl? 6. Why did you decide to be team green? 7. Anything else you want to add/ask?

1. Were you team green with your other babies? I'm a FTM, so this is our first opportunity to be team green 2. Is your SO excited about being team green too? He is! We've talked about this since we've talked about having kids and have always been certain we would wait until baby is born to find out the gender. 3. Are you struggling with waiting especially now that so many people are having their anatomy scans? Not really! We had a moment of wavering in our resolve when we found out we're having twins. After we talked about it, though, we decided to stay on team green. 4. How are names coming along? We just started the process on this one. We've each made our first pass through a baby name book with our highlighters. We've picked out several of the same names, so now we just have to start narrowing them down. 5. Do you have a feeling it's a boy or a girl? I have a feeling they're boys...but I have no basis as to why. 6. Why did you decide to be team green? There are just so few, genuine surprises in life and we just feel like this is something we want to experience in the delivery room. Plus, with twins we thought it'd be better to not find out so that MAYBE people will actually buy us stuff we need (two of!) on our registry instead of buying a million matching frilly dresses or little man outfits. 7. Anything else you want to add/ask?
1. Were you team green with your other babies? No.
2. Is your SO excited about being team green too? He wasn't at first but he's gotten over it lol
3. Are you struggling with waiting especially now that so many people are having their anatomy scans? Surprisingly, no. I thought I would be stressing out about finding out but I'm not. I even got the genetic testing done and could easily go online and found out but it hasn't even tempted me! Everyone else around us is annoyed with us though lol. 4. How are names coming along? Ugh, we have SO MANY girl names to choose from and hardly any boy names...and that's only first names, we haven't even talked about middle names yet.
5. Do you have a feeling it's a boy or a girl? I don't really have a feeling but I can't see us with a little boy running around for some reason, I see another little girl, so maybe that's a feeling? Idk. 6. Why did you decide to be team green? The first time around we lived in a 3 bedroom house and I have two older stepkids so we wanted to know ahead of time to plan for a combined room situation. Well we moved last summer and now each kid can have their own room so it really doesn't matter. I just plan on painting the new baby's room a neutral color anyway, plus it will be in our room for awhile anyway.
7. Anything else you want to add/ask? Hmmmm, I don't think so.
1. Were you team green with your other babies? FTM so N/A 2. Is your SO excited about being team green too? He is, but makes a lot of comments that make it seem otherwise. 3. Are you struggling with waiting especially now that so many people are having their anatomy scans? A few things make it hard, like painting the nursery and registering for things, but I am pretty happy with my decision. 4. How are names coming along? I meant to have a talk with DH about this last night but forgot. We have a boy and girl name that we like but haven't decided 100% yet. I want to nail it down soon or at least just talking about it more seriously. 5. Do you have a feeling it's a boy or a girl? I've had quite a few dreams that baby is a boy. I hope so, but honestly would be completely fine either way. 6. Why did you decide to be team green? It's something in life that can be a true surprise and I want that for us. I can't wait for the moment the Dr lets us finally know what baby is. I also like to prepare without making predictions about how things will be, if that makes any sense at all! 7. Anything else you want to add/ask? Coming home outfits.. I started looking last night and I found some adorable girl ones that weren't too expensive. The boys one though, all seemed to be super pricey. I was thinking about getting one of each if they weren't too expensive but I'm not sure how much I'd actually want to spend. Then there is the whole sizing issue. On another BMB I saw people saying to have a newborn sized outfit, and a 0-3 outfits just incase. If that's true, then I would need to have four outfits and that is just crazy pants!!

He would have found out the sex, but I was/am adamant. He has also come around and I think is as excited as me now. 3. Are you struggling with waiting especially now that so many people are having their anatomy scans? Not at all. I have my anatomy scan today and I'm actually scared we're going to find out by accident. 4. How are names coming along? We've had our names picked out for awhile, always with some flexibility/ an open mind if we find something new. I really don't see the big deal with coming up with both a boy and a girl name. 5. Do you have a feeling it's a boy or a girl? I think it's a boy and my husband swears it's a girl. 6. Why did you decide to be team green? I've known my whole life I'd be team green. I love love love surprises. And as a bonus I really dislike girly stuff so I figure this way we're saved from too much pink frilly froofroo stuff (at least for now). 7. Anything else you want to add/ask?
1. Were you team green with your other babies? FTM here
2. Is your SO excited about being team green too? He goes back and forth. Sometimes he says he wants to find out and sometimes he is excited.
3. Are you struggling with waiting especially now that so many people are having their anatomy scans? Like others have said, I am worried we will accidentally find out during the anatomy scan! I think other people are struggling more than we are. I can’t even count the number of people who have stared at me and said, “but how will you decorate the nursery?!” Eye roll.
4. How are names coming along? We have a boy name and girl name picked out, and also have a couple other options of each that we both like. We will decide when babe arrives!
5. Do you have a feeling it's a boy or a girl? My mom and MIL think girl, but I’ve had three dreams that it’s a boy.
6. Why did you decide to be team green? I've always wanted to be surprised. I think it’s one of the few true surprises in life. Plus selfishly, I absolutely hate the color pink and this way if its a girl I’m saved from a hundred frilly pink shower gifts. That makes me sound very ungrateful, which I am not, I just don’t like pink!
7. Anything else you want to add/ask?
@tessiesmom26 there are some super cute neutral options! I found a newborn outfit with hat that is white with stars and says “Welcome to the world.” Of course if you want something specific to boy or girl that doesn’t help, but there are some options out there for us team green people
1. Were you team green with your other babies? Nope. We found out at 13-14 weeks from NIPT DS was a boy 2. Is your SO excited about being team green too? I think so! I think he has a harder time getting as excited in general until baby is actually here 3. Are you struggling with waiting especially now that so many people are having their anatomy scans? Surprisingly, no. We had NIPT done and I thought I'd have a really hard time not knowing. It's been super easy. For you ladies worried about finding out during the anatomy scan, make sure your tech knows you don't want to find out. Ours had us close our eyes during all the lower body measurements so we wouldn't accidentally see. She just let us peek at the toes real quick and that was it for lower body. 4. How are names coming along? We've briefly talked about names, but I don't know that I'm 100% sold on any. I have favorites for each sex, and DH is super laid back so that's helpful with names. 5. Do you have a feeling it's a boy or a girl? I think it's a boy. I'll be a little surprised if it's a girl, but absolutely happy either way! 6. Why did you decide to be team green? With DS we had such a rough first couple months with poor betas and abnormal NT lab work, I just didn't want any more surprises. I also had a preference (silly I know). This time once we actually got pregnant things have went so well and we have zero preference on sex. I think it will be so awesome finding out if it's a boy or girl in the delivery room. 7. Anything else you want to add/ask? I'm probably evil, but I get a tiny bit of pleasure out of people being annoyed we aren't finding out the sex. I just don't understand the need to know. It's not your baby, and we don't care what it is! I think so many people are hoping we have a girl (they were the first time and we had a boy) which is super annoying. We'll take whatever God gives us!

@tessiesmom26 I remember being at one of my best friends' baby showers and her aunt made a SUPER rude comment like, "If you would have just found out the gender this all would have been a LOT easier on us." I was totally taken aback. Luckily, I've just had a couple people mention that it annoys them, but also admitted that's their Type A style and that they think it's kinda cool that we're waiting. I have a totally short fuse with this pregnancy, so if someone made a comment like her aunt, it would have been BAD news.
1. Were you team green with your other babies? FTM here too! 2. Is your SO excited about being team green too? Not really but he’s warmed up to it. 3. Are you struggling with waiting especially now that so many people are having their anatomy scans? nope. I’m really excited to read if the predictors were right! 4. How are names coming along? Since I’m the one pushing for team green, I’m letting my DH have more say in names. He wants a J name (like him) for a boy and a M name (like me) for a girl. I’m cool with it. There’s an M name I’m pushing for hard but he’s not sold on it. If it’s a boy, I’m down for his picks he’s thrown out there 5. Do you have a feeling it's a boy or a girl? Everyone at my job is calling the baby a she and while I wanted a boy first (as does DH), I keep seeing the cutest girl stuff and I want to buy all of it!!!!! 6. Why did you decide to be team green? I’ve always wanted to know when the baby was born. Like a PP said it’s one of the last surprises, even though whenever you find out it’s not like you can change it! I think it’s a cool moment for the one not birthing the baby to run out into the waiting room and share the news (I think that was a helpful argument on my end to get my DH to agree). Also, selfishly, since it’s the first one, I need the gear, clothes can wait. My MIL only has sons and this is the first grand Baby on DH’s side so she’s pulling for a girl, she’s a girly girl and I know is praying for a girl to dress up and take for manicures. 7. Anything else you want to add/ask? so we had the anatomy scan yesterday. It’s right by a TJ Maxx. I went in to browse after my appointment and saw the cutest outfit for a newborn photo. I’m tempted to buy it, even though we are team green. But if I do buy it and we have a son, I think I’ll still be tempted to put him in it. Just for one picture for my eyes only. I’m not into frilly stuff for toddlers and little girls but on a newborn- I’m all for tutus and frill. It’s just too cute. Pic in spoiler!!! It’s just the tutu, headband, and little poofs with ribbons that wrap around baby’s feet.
If I buy it, someone I know is bound to have a girl if I don’t- right?! I know others will think it’s way too extra but idc.
@smulrich16 that’s so rude!!! My cousin has made a few comments but she can’t wait for anything so it doesn’t surprise me. Many people have said that they themselves couldn’t never not find out, but nothing more than that so far. It just amazes me how people loose tack when it comes to pregnant women.

Are you struggling with waiting especially now that so many people are having their anatomy scans? I am surprisingly not struggling at all. I’m so excited about the moment we find out that at birth that it makes all the waiting worth it. 4. How are names coming along? We are terrible at boy names. Girls I’ve got covered. 5. Do you have a feeling it's a boy or a girl? DH thinks it is a boy, but I sort of feel girl. I’m not much for mother’s intuition and wouldn’t put money on it though. 6. Why did you decide to be team green? It is our last baby, so our last chance to go this route. I am really excited about it and can’t wait to have DH tell me what we are having. 7.
