Has anyone had PIH or Pre-E (or both?) and treated it or tried to prevent it in subsequent pregnancies?
I had PIH and Pre-E with DS that led to my induction at 38w and extra monitoring after delivery. My OB mentioned studies that show aspirin in second and third tri can reduce the risks. Has anyone done it? What were some other things recommended to you?

Re: Pregnancy Induced Hypertension and/or Pre-Eclapmsia
This pregnancy I have had BP in my "normal" range so far and she had me start taking a baby aspirin already. I take that daily with my pre-natal. We discussed at my last appointment and she said there was nothing I could do last pregnancy to avoid Pre-e. I was a healthy weight, gained the appropriate weight, ate a balanced diet and exercised. I am continuing those things this pregnancy and hoping to avoid pre-E!

My bff had pre-e with her daughter and delivered her at 30 weeks. We were pregnant together this last time and she completely changed her diet. She ate high protein, made sure to limit her sodium intake and took a baby aspirin. I'm not sure what it was that helped but she delivered her son full-term.
