Ticker change simply means that you have started a new week of pregnancy. For example, I go from 23 weeks to 24 weeks on Wednesday 6/13, so my “ticker” changes on Wednesdays. It is our way of marking a milestone.

1. How many weeks are you? What size is baby?
24 weeks. The size of a package of Oreos. Now I’m hungry.
2. How are you feeling?
Super stressed about work. I feel like I have been procrastinating far too much and have a bunch of stuff to catch up on before leave starts. And I just don’t want to be there or deal with any of it anymore.
Also, I feel like I am excessively whiny right now. This is not a good look on me, and knowing I am makes me feel more stressed and grumpy.
3. Any appointments this week?
Finalizing my estate documents tomorrow and regular OB appointment on Friday.
4. Rants/raves/questions?
I just want to go home. My bathroom remodel is going according to plan, but I want to sleep in my own bed, have dinner in my own kitchen, and not have to feel rushed to get things done because I have to leave to find a toilet right. now.
5. GTKY: What Is you favorite guilty pleasure movie? That one you know is awful, but you just love it!
I am a sucker for corny movies directed at teeny bopper girls. One of my favorites is A Cinderella Story with Hillary Duff.

Overwhelmed and sad by developments in the law relating to my work.

Tomorrow- I think I’ll have to set up an appt for the glucose test as well.

I figured out how to make my snoogle comfortable so I’m finally sleeping!

20 weeks, bringing in the tail end of October. Finally all Oct babies are half-baked!! Small coconut?
2. How are you feeling?
I've got some weird things going on. Belly itching, maybe very mild PUPPS. Some dyshidrotic eczema, water blisters on the side of my feet which are super itchy. Super sexy I know.
3. Any appointments this week?
I'm intervieweing a doula today and anatomy scan (followup) next week.
4. Rants/raves/questions?
Going camping tomorrow! I love spending time with my boys in our home away from home.
We might be securing an apartment today so we'll have a semi-permanent place to live for the next year!

My favorite movie is Hope Floats and I love drama and chick flicks. I also like sci-fi and action movies and I'll watch those with DH but when I get into a romantic movie binge he runs away.1. How many weeks are you? What size is baby?

Ok for the most part just achy, huge and uncomfortable. Heartburn continues its rage every night.

I have my follow up US tomorrow from our AS to check on the baby's heart.

Just trying to stay positive about US tomorrow. My OB was very reassuring on Friday and said she will let me know the results as soon as she gets them. I am going to a different US location than normal so I am a little anxious about that but excited to see him tomorrow.
We leave for vacation on Saturday to the beach for a week! I am so excited to get away from work and enjoy some relaxation time with the family

Rant - one of my cats is on a diet. If I forget to put out his overnight snacks, he wakes me up at 4am because he’s hungry, the world is ending, and aliens are invading. Or something like that. Had a hard time going back to sleep this time...
Rave - finally got the go ahead from DH’s boss to take vacation time in July. Booking things tonight, I hope!

DHs best friend comes up this weekend which I'm happy to see him but that means little to know sleep all weekend for them.. I'm not Changing my schedule lol

2. How are you feeling? Still feel pretty good. If I don’t eat every 2 hours or so, I get hangry real quick! Have a feeling some serious weight gain will be happening soon. I gained nothing for two weeks and then this week almost 3 lbs!
3. Any appointments this week? Nope, in the boring phase!
4. Rants/raves/questions? My husband and his brothers never plan ahead for holidays. Looks like I’m planning a last minute Father’s Day cookout for Sunday. Thankfully the food can be simple and easy, we’ll just throw some stuff on the grill and I’ll make some salads to go with it. But I’m a little miffed that a) they don’t plan ahead and b) selfishly, my weekend plan to do whatever the heck I feel like is not going to happen.

4. Rants/raves/questions? None but here’s a fun one: there’s a rumor that popped up a couple of weeks ago among my 14 year old students that I got a boob job. I learned about it today (we’ve already ended for the summer and I never told them, woops) and I could NOT stop laughing

Is mean girls an awful movie? My SO thinks so but I loooove it!
I’ve been thinking about this remodel for about 5years (literally since I moved into the house). The day I decided to get pregnant, I started looking for a contractor. It is my only bathroom, and I was not going to deal with a small child in it.
I’m guessing another week to week and a half. They are making progress every day, and the contractor thinks they will be able to set the toilet on either Friday or Monday (my money is on Tuesday). Once the toilet is set, I’m moving back in; I have a gym where I can take a shower.
