I figured I would start this, since no one else has. I stole some questions from another board.

Re: Fit Mom Friday/Healthy Habits Check-In
What changes will you be making to your routine?: Going a bit lighter/higher reps & adding more low intensity cardio.
STMs, any advice for pregnancy fitness?: Keep it up! I really think staying active through my pregnancies made my pregnancy, delivery and recovery a lot easier. Even if it is just walking towards the end.
Favorite healthy snack?: I have a bunch. Almonds, cucumbers, strawberries.
DS2 8/21/12
DD 9/26/14
Baby #4 edd 2/11/19
Weight training
What changes will you be making to your routine?:
none, of anything go on more frequent walks
STMs, any advice for pregnancy fitness?:
I gained a ton of weight with DD because my cravings were vanilla Pepsi and Klondike ice cream sandwiches. This time around I’m eliminating sodas and sweets completely.
Favorite healthy snack?:
sliced bell pepper with hummus
Yoga
What changes will you be making to your routine?:
To be honest, I haven’t been great with my workouts the last few months so my changes will be to just do something haha. Since my BFP I’ve been using our elliptical every day for about 20 min, so it’s a start.
STMs, any advice for pregnancy fitness?:
I’m a STM but all I really did last time was walk and do some light exercises at home. Hoping to be more active this time.
Favorite healthy snack?:
Cucumbers and peppers with hummus.
What changes will you be making to your routine?: maybe not jumping as high in Zumba and lighter weights
STMs, any advice for pregnancy fitness?: keep moving ! My last pregnancy was in winter and I used the excuses that it was too dark out or too cold out to make it to the gym. I passed my first diabetic screen but once I gave up working out I developed gestational diabetes at 32 weeks ( obviously it could be unrelated but I’m hoping to avoid it this pregnancy by keeping up my exercise routine.
Favorite healthy snack? Spicy chickpeas, cucumbers and apples
What changes will you be making to your routine?:
I am just going to listen to my body. With my son, squats and pull ups didn’t feel good, so we will see if this happens again. I definitely won’t be going for any PRs either!
STMs, any advice for pregnancy fitness?:
just listen to your body!
Favorite healthy snack?:
Fruit, or Greek yogurt with berries.
What changes will you be making to your routine?: It's my first so I have no idea. I certainly have no interest in racing or heavy training but I still want to do some easy runs. My fertility clinic told me I should abstain completely but I feel they're being too conservative... Will aim to keep my HR down but want to stay active.
Favorite healthy snack?: Apple & peanut butter; cold rounds of sweet potato with hummus; dried prunes and apricots
BFP: 6/2/2018 | EDD: 2/8/2019
What changes will you be making to your routine? None right now - just trying to keep going. With my first, I slowed down my pace and distance during first tri (sooo tired!) but picked back up again until the very end, when I had to cut way back but still got 2 miles in on a good day. Hoping to be similar this time around.
STMs, any advice for pregnancy fitness? Sinilar to what others have said, listen to your body. Our bodies are capable of amazing things. There are so many generalized rules about what we can and can’t do while pregnant, but really, the better shape we stay in, the better shape we’ll end up in.
Favorite healthy snack? Any sort of veggies with hummus. We make our own, too and it’s relatively easy and cuts out preservatives and added junk. I also love sweet potato fries for a healthier alternative to a not-so-healthy food. Definitely using all your ideas for upcoming snacks!
What will you be changing: Nothing..doc says I’m good to go just listen to my body and don’t push it.
Favorite healthy snack: I’m all about fruit, veggies, hummus, and I make these killer clean oatmeal muffins in my meal prep every week that make the easiest snack or breakfast.
Baby girl #1 7/11/13
Baby girl #2 4/30/15
Baby Boy Due 2/16/19!
barre, Pilates, yoga
What changes will you be making to your routine?: none. Hoping the Y will accommodate me so I don’t have to find a place that offers prenatal classes.
STMs, any advice for pregnancy fitness?: stay moving! I regret not doing that and used it as an excuse to be lazy and eat like crap. I plan on not changing my fitness/diet this time.
Favorite healthy snack?: I eat low carb and rarely snack but I would say berries if I do.
What changes will you be making to your routine?:
I’ll continue to run - I just started doing slow runs with DD1 in the jogging stroller before I got my BFP. Then I got strep, so I’ve not been working it this week. Hoping to start up again this week.
STMs, any advice for pregnancy fitness?: Just keep up with what you can! It’s so tempting to skip work outs, but even a short walk is good. Listen to your body. I couldn’t run last pregnancy bc my body hurt too bad and I’d get cramps, but I was able to walk at least.
Favorite healthy snack? most fruits give me reflux so I don’t eat a lot of them. Melons and bananas are okay. I was eating apples and peanut butter last pregnant until the reflux started and it’s not gone away. I’ll probably eat a lot of carrots and peanut butter (try it! So good!).
Peloton - Spin classes
