hcg/ovulation question

I just got home from vacation where I was super excited to TTC with my hubby. I did my round of letrizole and had a big enough follicle for my Dr to inject with HCG. I was in such a hurry since we were leaving to go to the beach I only grabbed 5000 units of HCG instead of the prescribed 10. The nurse didn't notice it wasn't the whole dose and I was injected on Thursday. Fast forward to today I got home and cleaned up to find the second bottle. I am devastated as this is our 3rd attempt at this. Since its too late to call my Dr, does anyone know if this month is a total waste??

    I wouldn't say it was a waste. I know in the past when doing TI / IUI's...some girls were only prescribed the 5,000 units of HCG. Do you usually ovulate on your own? Either way, I'm sure it helped boost ovulation :) You can always call tomorrow and ask them to check your progesterone level to see if you ovulated.
