BTDT, and my dumb selfie didn't remember to call them back during the week for a while, (like 2 more weeks), and so got a second month of books sent-most of which were doubles from stuff we had gotten at our shower. Suck. Hold time wasn't so long during business hours and got it turned off though. Didn't have energy to dispute charges-should have. This was 2 years ago right when I was being a NICU mom.

@pourmeamocktail it’s so wrong! Like, the people placing these orders are most likely pregnant women or new moms - exactly who doesn’t have time for this shit, and at least for me, doesn’t have $20 to spend on nothing! So angry.

@sarah-ruby-21. Yay! We went with the neutral papyrus colour, just for a little warmth - DH has grey interior, but I guess he didn't want to do all grey on grey. He was leaning toward Lake..... I guess I still sorta won. ;) What colour did you get?
@ashh2018 Sounds similar to some of the coupons that I got originally at Motherhood Maternity. They give $12, and some of them are great and are like $35 off of something. For many of the items, it completely covered the price, but then shipping was $20+. No thanks.

My nursing cover was one of those. It was a coupon for a free nursing cover from Udder Covers, but shipping was $15. I would have never paid the $35 for one, but I actually think it was worth the $15 shipping. Enough so I bought a 2nd one because they came out with a new pattern I liked.

Did manage to get a Kiinde gift set half off for $50, Aden and Anais swaddle set half off for $12.50, and diapers were 30% off, so snagged some Honest Co and Pampers Pure.
Amazon welcome box and babylist box arrived recently. I'll say the Amazon had a wider variety, both had some duplicates like pampers case and contents, cetaphil.

Our local stores are approaching 70% off, but I believe they are expected to close in the next couple weeks at this point. There was also a post on my local mom group saying they were going to stop accepting cash soon and transition to credit/debit only for purchases. Not sure if that's legit but figured I'd pass it on just in case.

@Redpuma119 I was the stupidest...I got all those Motherhood coupons and I was like OOH FREE STUFF. So for example, if the gift card was for $35, I would only buy $20 worth of stuff thinking that the gift card would cover the shipping, because when I went to check out it showed $0. They are purposely tricking people (with pregnancy brain). Looked the next and saw all the shipping charges on my card. I was rage-y.
Babies R Us update! We braved it today. The one near us was fully stocked just 1 month ago, but of course we were not ready to buy. We are now and it was a post apocalyptic mess. There was almost nothing, but I’m so glad we went! We bought the Chicco Viaro Travel System - complete with a Chicco key fit 30 and base! We got it all for $131. I’m so shocked and happy! It’s not the exact stroller I wanted, but for the price, I think this will do to start.
They all close next Saturday 6/30. They don’t accept cash. The store was literally selling out while we were there. We got one of the last 5 Chicco travel systems in the whole store!
@magnolia209, I'm glad you were able to find a travel system at Babies R Us. We went and the store was pretty much all sold out except the fixtures. The only things left were preemie clothes (which hopefully I won't need), dresser toppers to make it into a changing table, and random bottle nipples. We did end up finding a few things at Toys R' Us but completely random little things--a Wubanub pacifier, a waterproof mattress pad, a cushion to make it more comfortable to carry the infant carseat, and a butt cream applicator. The price was right, though!
I think we’re getting our dresser at BRU today!! They are 60% off and closing friday, a mom in my mom fb group just posted pics from the store and there are 2 left that match what i want, dh can’t meet me there to load it till 3:30 though, so I’m pretty much holding my breathe that they don’t sell out before we can get there

@jhjocelyn - How far is the store from you? Could you stop over and buy it and just ask them to put a late pick-up tag on it?
I had one offer to do that for me a month ago when we bought our dresser. Not sure if they'll still do it this close to the end, but it wouldn't hurt to call and ask if the store is close enough to make an extra trip there and back.
Although with 2 available and it now being the middle of a work day for a lot of people, you'll probably be fine just waiting until 3:30.

I think if you change your due date you'll get your discount sooner.... Not sure if you want to have the wrong date on there if you're sharing the registry, but it might be worth it depending on what you're hoping to buy and what's getting discounted.

Got the dresser!! I actually asked if they would hold it and they stuck a sold sticker on it for me! ...then we changed our minds... started ringing out a different one, but it was gonna total out of our planned budget still so dh wasn’t super stoked, so i abandoned everything, told the girl the sold sticker was me and we changed our minds. But there was a damaged one exactly the same next to it, she said they’d take $100 for it and I declared “sold”! Dh thinks it’s too dark and gaumy, I’m in love. It matches the crib and rocker from dd and will be easy to get a bed frame for down the road. The damages will need some minimal work, but kids scuff things up, it was $100, and has the pull hard, close softly, drawers and overall is sturdy and rugged.

@jhjocelyn There are some furniture pens you can get at Lowe's that work wonders! Obviously the dings will still be there but if you get a marker color that matches the stain then it hides them. I use them for staging all the time!

I was hoping so, I mean the chipped trim and crooked drawer will be a bummer if they stay looking funny, but the mess on the top, will always be covered, and a colored in ding on one drawer won’t be a big deal either. For the price w the quality, I am a-ok w imperfect. Heck, we bought dd’s dresser ar Big Lots for $180 I think and I just found a spot the other day where the stain has chipped away. And the drawers are always loose and wobbly... this beast is sssoo solid. I keep staring at it, I’m so in love.

@smsaulino, after I picked up the one applicator and I had walked around for awhile, I decided I'd probably want at least 1 more so we could keep it in the diaper bag. When I walked back over they didn't have any left...haha, oh well! It was a bear wubanub. I don't think it's actually that cute, but I figured we'd probably need more than 1 so I went ahead and bought it and left the one we had already registered for on the registry.
I’m not sure if I mentioned this anywhere, but I’m a huge fan of the Rumina brand pump and nurse bras. They are lifesaving for pumping at work hands-free without having to change into a separate bra! They are currently running a good sale through July 4th. The bra I like the most is $10 off (down to $28 a piece) and even though that’s still spendy I think they are worth every penny for the comfort and convenience they provide. I know a lot of FTM’s may not know what size they will be, but maybe the STM’s can estimate based on their old size (that’s what I’m doing). I believe they also do exchanges if you email them if the size doesn’t end up being correct. They also have free shipping after a certain dollar amount.
