3. Looking forward to meeting with our RE on Thurs. to make our IVF plan!
4. We are heading into summer! We leave for Topsail, NC on Saturday and while I’m super excited I’m also stressing about packing haha.
2. Status? CD4, WTO
3. R/R: Impatiently waiting for CD10 when I'm supposed to start using OPKs. It will be a whole new ball game this month; we start our IVF protocol when I get a + OPK. Excited and terrified!
4.GTKY: What season is it where you live? Any vacations or fun plans coming up? It's gorgeous here now! Sunny and warm but not too humid. No big plans for the summer, other than taking a few weeks off. The vacation will be being away from work!

3. R/R: I'm feeling pretty good again. First fews days of a new cycle make me hate life's injustices but once O is in sight, I tend to feel better. We had a pretty good weekend too. Rant is that we have court this week (for custody) and I'm nervous. Logically the odds are stacked for us, but I can't help feel a little worried because lying comes so easily to the other side.
4.GTKY: What season is it where you live? Hahahaha I live in New England so right now its Spring. In a few hours we will probably be in Summer and then by the time I leave work, Fall. We should be able to avoid Winter for a few days but ya never really know. Any vacations or fun plans coming up? We don't have anything major planned. My parents will go camping at the ocean and we will spend a few days there. We hit up a zoo over the weekend and my dad said they want to go to a wayer park this year too. Our trip with FIL got canceled to to SMIL having some complications with surgery she had a few months ago. Super okay with that as I don't want to be around my preg SSIL.
@char245 I hate packing. But your vacation will totally be worth it!! Hope your appt goes well.
@bakerstreetboys so exciting! It's defiently a terrifying excitement though. What happens once the OPK is +?
3. R/R: Still some HCG (just a little) from the MC so OPK's are unreliable. Definitely surprised by the amount of fertile CM I had the last few days. Temping again just to see if I get a temp rise and tracking mucus. If we're lucky enough to confirm O, i'll start progesterone again and see what happens. Thankfully I have 18 months of charts for temp data and just hoping it's not a HUGE departure from my norms.
4.GTKY: What season is it where you live? Any vacations or fun plans coming up? Summer! Nothing in terms of vacations, DH and I are buying a house and closing on it in about a month so I'm definitely staying close to home. He's going on the annual trip with his family in August, but I'd bowed out this year since I wanted to save my PTO. Still hoping that will be needed for other reasons in the next year so I'll stay home and help our cats adjust to our new house.

@prpl11butterfly - I have everything crossed for you that this custody hearing goes your way! This has been a huge albatross for you guys and I hope the judge sees through all the crap the other side is spewing.

@prpl11butterfly Good luck with the custody hearing. Hopefully they rule quickly and you will have one less thing to worry about.
Once I get a + OPK, I start the GnRH Agonist patch to suppress ovulation. Then on CD1, I start FSH and LH injections and the daily/every two day monitoring starts so they know when to trigger. ER and transfer, if all goes well, will be mid-July.

@catlady2015 we didn't wait either. Its hard to, and if dr says there's no real reason to, then why not?

3. R/R: I'm feeling extremely defeated. Month 4 of no ovulation. Longest WTO ever. I had such high hopes with clomid. My dr basically assured me I'd ovulate on it. My heart just hurts today.

Summer. We're going to the rocky mountains in 2 weeks with my extended family. Looking forward to that.
@catlady2015 Ha, I am having a similar situation over here. I have had EWCM on and off since last Tuesday or Wednesday, but I am still getting +HPTs (although they are getting light) so I can't use OPKs. From looking back at my previous post-loss charts, the first cycle after loss tends to be pretty wonky. I had fertile CM (mostly watery, but also four days of EWCM) starting two weeks before I ovulated in my first cycle post-loss when I had used cytotec. Fx if you try that it works out for you.
1. Not new, but returned last week after loss #4.
2. Status? Benched.
3. R/R: We got the results of our genetic testing back last week. My RE called me herself. Finally, after 8 months of testing and two D&C's we got what seems like the answer - our baby had Trisomy 22. I have found this answer makes me feel a lot lighter. Of course it would be better to be pregnant with a healthy baby right now, but I know there was no good outcome for a baby with Trisomy 22, and we finally have some explanation for what has (most likely) been going wrong. My RE believes that IVF with PGS will allow us to get a take home baby. I got the IVF paperwork in the mail and it looks like I will have to re-do a lot of testing because it's been more than six months, and there is additional testing we will need as well. So idk what the timeline is but I am hoping we will be able to start later this summer. We are hoping to get into our clinic's guarantee program which my RE also sounded optimistic about assuming I meet the minimum requirements for things like AMH (needs to be 1 or above), AFC (8 or above), etc. I am a little nervous about this but last fall when we tested I had AMH of 1.93 and AFC of 11, so hopefully those numbers have stayed up and FSH hasn't climbed. I am trying to figure out when I O only because we'll need to redo a bunch of cycle day dependent testing and I want to have an idea of when we can schedule it. It will be another convo at our house if we can't do the guarantee program.
4.GTKY: What season is it where you live? Any vacations or fun plans coming up? Summer, very hot. No vacay plans. Realistically we have not vacay budget due to IVF being $$$.
@prpl11butterfly funny I feel the same way, as a new month starts I’m super pissed but then the closer to O I get I start feeling excited and hopeful again!

1. Introduce yourself (if new): I’m 32, DH is 33. We had a cp in March and an early loss at the beginning of this month. Trying to get some testing or at least counseling with the doctor scheduled.
2. Status? WTO CD 7
3. R/R: I feel like the doctor is brushing my concerns aside about the back-to-back cp/mc. I just want to sit down with my doctor and discuss my concerns, possible issues and if there are any changes I need to make.
4.GTKY: What season is it where you live? Any vacations or fun plans coming up? Summer and no - we were talking about a beach trip but then I found out my job was being cut in July (yay acquisition). Hopefully I’ll have a new job figured out soon so we can plan something this fall.
@char245 sounds fun! And I always stress about packing (and way over pack)! Hope you’re appointment goes well.

2. Status? I'm considering it benched. On progesterone right now to start my first cycle after my miscarriage on 5/8. Not enjoying these nasty suppositories, but ill be done with them on Thursday! Looking forward to the chance to try again.
3. R/R: sort of a rave? I started a blog to talk about my pregnancy updates and I have slowly been working myself up to writing about my mc. I'm excited because I think it will be really good for me to express my feelings.
4.GTKY: What season is it where you live? Any vacations or fun plans coming up? Definitely summer! We are actually going up to some hot springs in Idaho this weekend! We are really excited! A few other minor camping trips, but nothing big.

@Kath525 sorry about the crappy success with the Clomid. I hear its not a fun one to be on, and I can imagine is very frustrating that it doesn't seem to be working. Insurance is the worst
3. Feeling down on this whole journey. I'm 41 and maybe just too old. Did we wait too long?
4. It's supposed to be summer but we've got a bad case if Junuary. Cold and rainy. But it's supposed to get hot and sunny for the weekend. We've got a trip planned to Newfoundland this summer. I've never been and I'm quite looking forward to it.

@Zamora_spin Getting an answer can definitely help, and I'm happy to hear that it made you feel a bit lighter. Hopefully IVF with PGS is exactly what you need! I don't have to go on BCP before I stim; we'll be trying a fresh transfer first, so I'll start injections on day 1 and they'll start monitoring me closely for my trigger. I imagine they'd put me on BCP if we have to move to FET.
@sagems10 I think you're right that worrying it all down and expressing it helps a lot. I hope it does for you!

AFM. Just a quick update since we had a meeting with our lawyer. Long story short, the guardianship is sound. Mom is agreeing to keep things as is. We are still going to push for the adoption because it is what's best but are going to offer open with the same visit schedule. I'm in such shock that she's stepped back. Just in shock.
timing wasn't optimal, but a respectable -2, so we'll just see what happens.
Just found out with O when it was that if this cycle doesn't go, I'm screwed for next cycle. DH will be out of town for the entirety of FW.
I am so THRILLED that guardianship is sound!! I've been thinking about you and I'm glad that she's stepped back and doing what's right. Totally keeping fingers crossed that you guys can move ahead with the adoption, but this is phenomenal news!! *hugs*

Can I ask when you o-ed after mc? I know it’s different for pretty much everyone, but would just be interested to know other people experience.
@zamora_spin thank you for sharing your experience, and I am so sorry you’ve gone through all that. It’s so frustrating not knowing what to expect after a mc. It’s helping to hear everyone’s experiences.
My guess is that your doc had tests done and will tell you try the results at your appt. For mine, they did that, let me know how the surgery went and asked about my bleeding and how I was feeling. It was a super quick appt.
