    Nothing this week.

Does anyone have a good double stroller they like? We’ll be on the hunt this weekend.

    5. GTKY: What fad or trend do you hope comes back?

Nothing really, I’ve never been that much into fashion. I prefer comfort over cute.

  • @missmaehurt I love my uppababy vista! It’s such a smooth ride and easy to steer.

  • 1. How many weeks are you? What size is baby? 23 weeks. Baby is the size of a grapefruit.

    2. How are you feeling? Still dealing with nausea and appetite problems. Didn’t have to take any Zantac for heartburn today though. Think I’m coming down with a cold.

  • The rest since it cut my comment off:

    3. Any appointments this week? Endocrine on Monday and MFM on Friday. We are trying the anatomy scan again on Friday.

    4. Rants/raves/questions? I just want to feel good!

    5. GTKY: What fad or trend do you hope comes back? I too wish that cursive would come back. I love good penmanship.

  • @irlybbert a day without Zantac is a good day! I feel like I’m living in the stuff.
  • 1. How many weeks are you? What size is baby? 21 weeks- baby is the size of a baseball hat. 2. How are you feeling? Pretty good! I had been getting bad headaches but at my last OB appointment they told me to start taking B2 and Magnesium Oxide and they seem to have gone away!! Other than that, my back has started hurting some- I think it’s time to pull out my bellyband. 3. Any appointments this week? Not until the end of the month. 4. Rants/raves/questions? Nope 5. GTKY: What fad or trend do you hope comes back? Not really sure...
  • @Mylitta we still teach cursive. It’s just not grade like it was when we were in school. But starting in 2nd grade they teach it. It’s a great supplemental activity.
  • @Mylitta and @Irlybbert I used to teach hand lettering. I think it’s ironic that a lot of schools don’t teach it, but then there’s adults paying to learn it.
  • 1. How many weeks are you? What size is baby? 23 weeks!! Time has really flown! Baby girl is moving right along the produce aisle and is now a grapefruit-sized nugget.

    2. How are you feeling? Really good! Got my energy back, sometimes dealing with acid reflux and heartburn, but feeling blessed to not be sick every day. Ready to start getting this nursery in order!

    3. Any appointments this week? Not this coming week, next appt. is June 19.

    4. Rants/raves/questions? Anyone else have an anterior placenta? Are you able to feel a lot of movement from the outside?  I can definitely feel her kicking and moving very frequently during the day and night, but poor hubs is struggling to feel her from the outside. He got super excited a few days ago when he felt a small ripple.

    5. GTKY: What fad or trend do you hope comes back? From the looks of it, there are quite a few teachers on here. We seem to be having the same thought: teach these kids cursive writing! When I had my own classroom for six years (I am now an ESL small group teacher), I made it a point to make time for cursive writing in a literacy/writing station with poetry, creative writing or word study and in morning warm-ups. It is not a required skill in our state but should be practiced as often as possible.

  • @cagncoo12, yes, Zantac and gas-x are my closest friends most days!

Hello!  Also have an anterior placenta @23w4d.  I’m perhaps not much help, because I swear that everytime I try to figure out if I can feel Blast kicking from the outside, xe gets shy and runs away.  (That said, xe is also really low and I end up squishing a bit of fat out of the way if I am sitting, which maybe startles xem?)

Regardless- I can confirm that feeling xem from the outside is a bit of a crapshoot right now.
  • @cvv1030 I had an anterior placenta last time and barely felt anything until 24ish weeks. It was another couple - a month before H could feel it. This time I'm thinking it's not anterior since I've felt some flicks/kicks. (Since at the beginning it feels like someone's flicking me from inside to me. But I've felt more of the movement recently.) It gets better but it does take longer. Then when you're huge and your baby is active you feel like this:

Legit it woke me up more than once.
  • 1. How many weeks are you? What size is baby?

    20 weeks, finally!

    2. How are you feeling?

Feeling fine! Heartburn is ramping up and some small sciatic oain that I'm sure will get worse here soon. Trying to enjoy feeling ok while I can!

    3. Any appointments this week?

    Anatomy scan tomorrow!

    4. Rants/raves/questions?

    None so far.

    5. GTKY: What fad or trend do you hope comes back?

I'm sure I'll be laughed at, but I loved the 80s/90s  neon colored windbreakers. Think Fresh Prince of Bel Air style! But then again I was born in '89 so I was young when it was around and it was probably more acceptable to wear that at that age!

  • @Mylitta, that would wake me up for sure! I told hubs to just be patient because she'll be putting on a show soon enough. I just feel blessed every day when she jabs me, reassuring me she's there.
  • @knottieamusements, yes I know, I mostly feel her down low though I believe she is probably doing somersaults all across my belly. I think my little squish also gets shy sometimes, but then she comes right back and it's like a little game between us of me pressing gently and her nudging me. lol.
