where are you all feeling movement lately? i’m 16w tomorrow, but the past week or so, i’ve been feeling twitches low but also at my belly button or slightly higher. do twins go up that high yet?
@highsteaks Movement I feel is extremely inconsistent. I go days without feeling anything. but I’m with you, it’s high when I do. I’ve been wondering the same thing. My uterus does feel high. Like the bottom of my belly is soft and I feel like my boobs are sitting on the firm part already!
When we do start feeling movement consistently, how are we going to know both twins are moving? I’m a little obsessive when it comes to feeling my babies move...so this is something I’ve been thinking a lot about.
I'm with you @EM0704 and @highsteaks ! if I hadn't just had an US (where they babes were kicking each other) on Friday I'd probably be a bit nervous that something is wrong. I haven't felt the babies moving at all (and I'm 16 weeks today). It could be that I don't really know what I'm supposed to feel as a FTM, or it could be that I was a little chubby before getting pregnant. Either way, I'm looking forward to when I can start feeling them and possibly even differentiating between babies' movements.
@EM0704 With my twins, I couldn't tell at first who was moving because they were so small and right next to each other, but as I got further along and I could tell how they were situated, it became pretty obvious due to the position of the movement, although it was sometimes hard to tell one's arm moving from the other's leg moving.
Generally, earlier on, I think it's easier if they're sitting "bunk bed" style (one laying on top of the other) than if they're side by side because high up movement has to be the "top bunk" baby while moment low down in the pelvis had to be the "bottom bunk". Mine were side by side from conception to birth, though.
Sometimes both were moving and that was obvious because unless there was an octopus in there, there was no way that I could be getting kicked/poked in the places I was simultaneously.
Granted, mine were di/di so that made it easier than if you had mo/mo twins, so YMMV depending on what type of twins yours are.
@smulrich16 I'm happy to chime in when I can. I don't know everything, but at least I've been through this before!
I'm on mobile most of the time, so I don't tend to see people tagging me unless I'm especially looking, but feel free to tag me anyway if you've got any twin questions and I'll do my best to answer them for you.

I hope all you ladies are having a great week, too!
