How far along are you? How big is baby?
I’m 10+5 today, baby is like an inch long during week 10, I think.

How are you feeling?
Kind of back to “normal” which has my pgal brain all fired up again. Yesterday I ate a bunch of junk (ramen, tater tots, root beer, etc) so I didn’t feel too great from that. Need to make better food choices today!

Working on the baby registry is taking so much longer than I thought it would. I’ve finally finished some of the amazon categories (that’s including just checking sub categories as “done” because I didn’t want to add those items).

GTKY: Are you thinking of doing a babymoon?
Oh, no, probably not. We might go camping just the two of us. Or a quick overnight to the coast or something. No big trips planned.

Most likely no. Too close to the holidays and if we do vacations/trips our babysitter has to be home from college.

10w4d - Baby is the weight of a quarter.. which I think is cool

Im feeling pretty good besides constant exhaustion and having to pop colace like it's my job.

My husband and sisters really want to do something special to find out the sex of the baby. My NIPT results should be ready this week so I need to figure out how to we can do it. I just want to know the moment the results are ready!

GTKY: Are you thinking of doing a babymoon?
We are! I actually have to get on planning it because it would have to be the first week of August. I need to nail down where we are going. I am considering Ameila Island in Florida.

@lexidawg thanks! The registry has been intimidating to me too. I chip away at it a bit each day. Sometimes I don’t even add stuff, I’m just reading multiple tabs on every other website’s opinion of what “the best” of certain products are. It helps to do the fun things first- like clothes and cute little toys.
What’s also helped me is making the registry more like a guideline than “this is exactly the color and product I want”. I’ve made a lot of notes on it to (hopefully!) make it clear to my family that I’m totally cool with used/handmade items, the stuff we registered for is just to give them an idea of our style/products we want (like cloth diapers vs disposables)

How are you feeling? pretty good overall. I got new PNV ( the target gummies) and they makee feel a little queasy so I'm going to back to the First Response gummies.

Rants/Raves/Questions/Dear Diary? I have an "emergency" appt tomorrow to check my DCH. I had some bleeding over the weekend and they need to check what's going on.

GTKY: Are you thinking of doing a babymoon?
DH can't take vacation during the summer cause it's his busy time, so we always try to do a vacation in the fall which would align perfect with end of 2nd tri, beginning of 3rd tri.

How are you feeling? Headaches feel like they may be the death of me. I think my PGAL anxiety will chill out after my 12 week appt.

GTKY: Are you thinking of doing a babymoon? We may go on a couple mini-vacations. We have a 4 year old, so we may take him to Sea World in the coming months.

I don’t really remember which ones I used exactly, sorry. I know I looked at Baby List a lot- especially for “best” car seats. I also googled phrases like “narrow car seat” and “car seat 3 across” and clicked on the first 5 or so articles that came up for each search.

Hi!
I’m 10 weeks and some days (due the 29th). I feel shitty but I’m getting used to it. I can’t wait to not feel sick, but if this is like last time, that means I still have at least 10 weeks to go.
We just got back from a fun trip, although we were with ppl till the last day. I don’t think we’ll do a babymoon without my son because tbh he’s too fun to leave home, but we’ll see.

@lexidawg not really I love west coast florida and got married in marco island fl not too far from there. The beaches are so much better then the east coast. So anywhere you go will be amazing.

GTKY: Are you thinking of doing a babymoon? Not really. We're doing a family vacation this summer but I think a babymoon is pre-baby right... or with just DH and I. So it feels like its not as practical for STMs?

@fernsy yeah I was like 20-21 weeks until I felt okay. I don’t want to scare anybody but I also don’t want anybody to be disappointed when they don’t turn into a glowing goddess at 13 weeks like the internet says.

@tumbleweed-1 When it was approaching registry time with DS I was so exciting, but actually doing the registry was so overwhelming!

@lexidawg That is so nice you guys get a babymoon! My friend took his wife on one with their first, he took her to this really nice bed and breakfast for a weekend. Last time I wanted to find out the sex in a special way but DH wanted to know immediately. I am hoping I can talk him into finding out another way this time.

@gorgeousariel I hope your appointment goes okay today! I am going to send you a message soon on messenger to check up on you.

@Fruitcove7 I hope your anxiety eases up a bit once you hit the second tri!

I am 10w3d. Baby is the size of a kumquat. When I told DH that he said I was making it up. lol

Overall pretty good! The occasional headache or constipation plus being tired, but that's it.

Ehh.. I just hope the time between now and June 19 goes by kinda fast because since my initial sonogram I'm worried about the thickness of the neck fold and I want to know everything is okay.

I don't think DH would be able to get any time off work. He just took off four days last week for the car show we went to. He's also taking off on the 23 for his 30th birthday party. Would be nice, but it's not going to happen.

How are you feeling? Fairly well today surprisingly. Even when taking Diclegis for my nausea and vomiting, I sometimes still vomit and have nausea. I think eating spaghetti for breakfast helped. Hahah! My heart has been racing a lot today. I hate that feeling. I also feel soo bloated still. I am seriously about to break out my maternity shorts and pants because I keep my pants unbuttoned already.

Rants/Raves/Questions/Dear Diary? Rant: DH is out of town until Friday evening so I am holding down the fort by myself and it's sad...haha. But it's also nice because I can follow my own schedule. I made dinner last night at 4:30, which actually REALLY helped my nausea. I need to make dinner earlier more often! Rave: Bestie is coming over to hang out this afternoon which is great! We may go swim at my mom's down the street.

Just got back from vacation where I felt awesome (worrying the PGAL brain) but now nausea has returned which is reassuring but also icky. I know in the grand scheme of things I am very lucky though because it's usually only nausea.

Trying to study for an exam and instead all I want to do is nest. I am sorting closets, cleaning everything, finally organizing the loose ends in the schedule....

GTKY: Are you thinking of doing a babymoon?
Yes! DH and I have been talking about doing a weekend in Chicago for a while now so hopefully we can talk grandparents into watching the kiddos. We had also been talking about Vegas and/or New Orleans but DH seems to think it'd be better to postpone those until a time I can enjoy adult beverages there again.

@whaat I hear you on not feeling the magic of second trimester. Last time I was really sick until 18 weeks. I already feel better than I did then - but last time I didn’t start B-6 until much later.

10+5 transitioning from strawberry to lime.

How are you feeling?
Better except the 24 hours after I forgot to take B-6. It makes such a differemce. Also compared to last time, it helps that I haven’t had total aversion to coffee. I’m down to about 2 inches of coffee per day, but it does help me feel more alert and more like myself.

My insurance is such a PITA to deal with. They are demanding prior authorization for all kinds of standard pregnamcy care. It’s ridiculous.

GTKY: Are you thinking of doing a babymoon?
As a STM, not really? I mean we’ll do some weekend trips this summer/early fall, but I’m hoarding my PTO to make sure I get some paid time for maternity leave

Yay 11 weeks!! Baby is the size of a fig or lime. (I have to assume they mean key lime if the other comparison is a fig?)

How are you feeling? this past week has been a struggle. I am so tired, fell sick most of the day, Especially after I eat. Healthy or unhealthy food options don’t make me feel any better.

Rants/Raves/Questions/Dear Diary? My rant is I still can’t get motivated to get a decent amount of work done. I fear I am sabotaging myself and after this assignment they will end my contract. Sitting at my computer has been giving me headaches and I am being a whimp and can’t take both the sickness and a headache at the same time.

GTKY: Are you thinking of doing a babymoon? We have a trip to Mexico planned for a wedding. I am taking my parents to babysit our 2 year old. But it looks like I can’t go now because of Zika. Unfortunately the expense of paying for five people doesn’t leave much money for a vacation for me:(

@LLynde5 give yourself a break. Hopefully you will feel better soon and you get crank the work out again. I feel the same. I tried to cut back on the nausea pills but today is a day I hate everyone. Felt sick all night and on my way to work. Just want to do the minimum and go home!

@Llynde5 I'm sorry you're having such a rough week. Once you start feeling better, you'll be doing better at work. My production goes way down at work when I get a headache, I imagine it's much worse with a headache and feeling sick.
