What did you accomplish this weekend? Cleaned out the basement even more! And a coworker if DH offered us a free baby swingso we picked that up today!! Super excited about it What are you looking forward to this week? Hopefully changing our phone plan and possibly getting an upgrade since my phone is starting to shit the bed. That's about it..
Yay, free baby swing! I also looked into phone plans and upgrading today.
We've been doing laundry and lounging around since it's been raining all day. I jut went down to the basement to flip the laundry and a frog jumped out of the basket! I noped right out of there. Jeff and the cats are still looking for it.
I’m sick with a cold so I’m laying low and cancelled our weekend plans to host friends and their new baby (don’t want to get them sick!).
On the plus side, DH and I made it to the neighborhood block party last night to meet our new neighbors (we moved into our house in the fall).
We’ve also been going through boxes and spent some time organizing the office. Still need to do some work but I’m feeling better about making progress on the house.
I managed to squeeze in a beach body barre video yesterday and some easy cardio at the gym today in between doses of pregnancy safe cold meds.
Now heading out to run errands with DH. Look forward to finishing a few house projects this week.
This weekend has been pretty chill for me. Family party yesterday so I was making food for DH and I and working an event today and birth class tonight. I have a lot of paperwork to do next week and want to work on cleaning out the nursery from office junk next week as well. Ordering the crib tonight so want a place to set it up and make sure it isn't wobbly.
@kiwi2628 sounds like you had a very low key weekend! Edit as darn bump ate part of my message! Sounds like there is a good story! Do share! Love the rug and the giraffe is cute!
Finally bought a convertible seat for DD! We got a Chicco Next Fit Zip. Celebrated a friend's 38th birthday. Spent some time with old friends who just moved into our area. Great weekend!
@Lisa3379 that sounds amazing, I’m jealous. Yesterday I was pretty useless, wasn’t feelin great. Today I cleaned the kitchen and bathrooms, vacuumed the house, took the dog to the dog park and made banana chocolate chip muffins. Best part was a long nap!
What did you accomplish this weekend? Nothing really for Saturday. Today, I did some cleaning and went to the pool with my 5 year old. Now waiting on pizza for lunch.
What are you looking forward to this week? Last day of school for the kids! I need a break from them.
What did you accomplish this weekend? Lots of cleaning, laundry, sorting Ds's clothes (that don't fit and winter put away) going through baby clothes we kept for #2
What are you looking forward to this week? Monday I get to set up 3 tours to look at new houses! And Tuesday is our AS!!!
We didn't get to do too much this weekend as its chilly out and DS is just getting over a stomach bug. We managed to go through all of DS old clothes and organized our basement some.
I was too exhausted to do our planned registry shopping yesterday, but we did eventually start an online registry when I got home. Managed to pick out a carseat/stroller combo. (Decided on a Chicco system.)
Today, some laundry, and the fella gave me a huge surprise by offering to go to the grocery store by himself. He waited until he was dressed and halfway out the door to mention that's what he was planning, so I didn't even have time to feel guilty about still being in my pajamas!
I've also worked on several business things today, including following up on a connection I made last week with a company that might want to purchase photos from me on an ongoing basis!
Yesterday, I climbed the Compton Water Tower with Guncle and another friend. That was super cool, although, I was disappointed to discover that behind the levees for the reservoir, the reservoir is now two giant tanks instead of a lake.
Then I went to BRU, and bought too much stuff. One the side of things I definitely needed, were a travel system (Chicco Bravo), a Pack and Play (from which I have decided that dinosaur is definitely a boy, because all the Pack and Plays of the style I wanted had pink trim), and a changing table. One the side of total goof-ball purchases, I got a plush Geoffrey.
Today, I had fun at my dance event until something happened that caused me to get super stabby. I left, because there was nothing that could be done about it and I didn’t want to stir shit in the community. (As stabby as I was, I would definitely have stirred some shit.)
Then I came home, and called my Mom. We had a nice call, and she agreed with me that what happened was Not Cool, but nothing could really be done. My dog is enjoying his vacation at my parents place, and making friends with the neighbors’ dog.
Now my cat is head-butting my belly and my boobs, and marking my forehead.
Yesterday SS had TBall. After that DH and SS went to DHs parents and I relaxed. Ended up giving the dog a bath too. I didn't go to the party for my friend and I do kinda regret it.
Today we went to The Henry Ford Museum and Greenfield Village. It was nice because we went with DH's parents, his sister, BIL and our neice, BILs parents, my mom and siblings. It kicks my butt to be active, but I'm glad I'm doing it. I'm hoping to keep up with it as long as I can.
This week DH is gone from Tues till next Sunday. (He's headed to TN with his motorcycle club to ride the Tail of the Dragon and Devil's Triangle). I'm going to be nervous until he gets home so I need to keep busy.
Yesterday went for a run, did some work, cleaned the apt, did laundry, went to see my friends band. Today went to brunch, then book club, then dinner with a friend who gave me s bunch of great baby stuff she never used for her 2 yr old. Project “get all the things second hand” is going pretty well. We already have a bassinet, stroller, several carriers, baby vibrating chair thingy, play mat, and tons of clothes. It’s helping keep our registry under control too.
Friday night I felt baby kick for the first time! It was incredible and I was so happy.
Yesterday, I went to a baby shower for a friend and then DH and I went to a local dog-friendly brewery with our dog. He had a beer and I had some water and enjoyed the beautiful night outside around a fire pit.
Today we started the nursery! We taped off and then put two coats of primer on. Tomorrow we’ll paint it lavender

@sammierose464 Oh I love Tail of the Dragon! Although I've only driven it in little sports cars like Miatas and S2000s. I can't imagine how fun it would be on a motorcycle!
Very little. Sick and miserable toddler Friday and Saturday. He was mostly back to himself today, so I sent him over to grandma’s so we could power clean the house that had fallen apart while we were trapped under snuggle bug sicko (watching Shrek over and over and over...). It was the first real summer weather weekend, too. We’d planned on going to the beach. Damn kids.
What did you accomplish this weekend? Went furniture shopping with MIL to pick out the baby’s furniture while DH and FIL worked on the room. It’s coming along nicely, but still several weekends of work to go before we are ready to start decorating.
What are you looking forward to this week? My 30th birthday is Thursday and our AS is Friday! It’s going to be a good week...can’t wait!
We bought an uppababy Vista used for an amazing deal! Then we had our condo open house both afternoons so we had to be out of the house. Saturday we went for a BBQ to a friend's and sundSu we went to watch Han Solo and had half price chicken wings. Was a lovely weekend!
Me 33 DH 41 TTC since 2016 Due: October 12, 2018 Location: Ontario, Canada
This weekend I cleaned the kitchen and got most of the laundry done. I also bought a laundry hamper for the nursery and some new decor for DS’s room since his room currently has the nursery decor.
This week I hope to make it through the second to last week of school.
