Thursday AND Friday Ticker Change (5/31-6/1)

hello beautiful ladies!

if you are confused as to what’s going on, during last week’s tc, i asked the friday ladies if thursday ladies could merge our ticker days together since we usually had next to no traffic and i was bummed about it.

if anyone hates this idea, please say so!

a thought if we choose to go forward: anyone, friday or thursday, can start this thread on thursday if you see that it hasn’t been posted yet. so, if you have a really great idea for a gtky question, have at it!

1. How many weeks are you? What size is baby? 15w, naval oranges

2. How are you feeling? overall, much better. still getting mild indigestion, headaches, cramps, and hip pains. but i’ll take all that over ms anyday!

3. Any appointments this week? none this week. well, i’ve got a waxing appointment this afternoon for legs and bikini, which i’m both excited and scared for! it’s my first professional appointment, and first time waxing while pregnant. so, i’m sure it’ll be loads of fun!

4. Rants/raves/questions? some of my pregnancy dreams have been CRAZY. like, some of them i will take to my grave.

5. GTKY: How many children do you want? for the longest time, it was 1 maaaaaybe 2. whelp, 2nd and 3rd on the way! i’ve definitely come around to the idea of 3, but never in a million years would i have predicted that i’d have 3 kids. dh and i have already made plans for the big snip snip before the end of this pregnancy, so we’re definitely done.

@highsteaks take a couple of Tylenol before your waxing appointment! I had one a couple weeks ago and it HURTS. Way more than pre-pregnancy. The girl who does mine advised me to take a couple Tylenol beforehand if I was comfortable with it.

1. How many weeks are you? What size is baby?

16 weeks tomorrow. Baby is the size of an avocado or can of pop.

2. How are you feeling?

My back has been hurting and I'm short of breath, but otherwise I'm great!

3. Any appointments this week?

Nope. Not until the 21st and 25th.

4. Rants/raves/questions?

I haven't done anything to get ready for this baby and I feel bad. He's going to have to share a room with my twins since we're short on space (which I also feel bad about), so it's really just finding a place for his crib and washing the boys' old clothes, so nothing that needs done immediately, but I'm feeling like I'm being lazy, I guess?

5. GTKY: How many children do you want?

This may be our last, but I wouldn't mind one more. I originally wanted two, then we had twins and I decided I wasn't done and now I'm doing the same thing again.

Good, I had a headache for the past week but it hasn’t shown up yet today! The ligament pain isn’t fun, I thought DS would have stretched those all out the first time??

I got easily irritated this week with everyone, it almost felt like PMS but clearly that’s not the case. I started telling people just to watch out for me Lol

5. GTKY: How many children do you want?
definitely done at 2. We always wanted 2, then while it was taking a while to get pregnant this time and my 2.5 year old is high energy I thought 1 would be ok. Then we got pregnant. So 2 it is!

I’m glad you posted this! I had posted a Thursday one a few times, and only one person participated, so...I stopped.

1. How many weeks are you? What size is baby?

18 weeks - sweet potato!

2. How are you feeling?

Okay. Not quite as exhausted or starving all the time, which is nice. TERRIBLE SI joint pain, ugh.

3. Any appointments this week?

Nope - anatomy scan on 6/14!!

4. Rants/raves/questions?

Just feeling gigantic, also ugh.

5. GTKY: How many children do you want?
I’ve always wanted 3-4. Realistically/financially, this (3) is probably it. I kind of detest both pregnancy and the infant phase, so I don’t know I want to do it again after this time.

Yay! I'm glad we're going to have more participation by combining the two!

1. How many weeks are you? What size is baby? 18w! Bell pepper, croissant, or onion.

2. How are you feeling? Pretty good overall. The only thing still bothering me is the pelvic pain but I have an appt next week so I will ask the dr about it then.

3. Any appointments this week? Tuesday! We have our A/S and then an appt with the Dr right after. I can't wait for DH to see baby again and finally hear the HB!

4. Rants/raves/questions? Yesterday was DHs 30th birthday and this weekend we are heading to the casino to celebrate! I'm really looking forward to the time with DH, a little gambling and some good food!!

5. GTKY: How many children do you want? I'm between 2/3. DH used to joke that we have to only have 2 so that everyone had a person to sit with on rollercoasters HAHA. Yes, that is how he thinks! So we'll see, I have to get through this pregnancy first though!

Hey ladies! My first time participating this pregnancy - hoping to make it a weekly thing! With my first I was due at the beginning of the month but this time I’m at the very end so I’m getting opposite experience. Hah

1. How many weeks are you? What size is baby? 14 weeks - peach

2. How are you feeling? Getting better. The nausea is still lingering throughout the day but I’m not relying on diclectin as much as I was. I can see the light!!

3. Any appointments this week? Not until next Friday. I had the NT scan last week and got to see little babe. With my first I didn’t have an ultrasound until the anatomy scan so this was a new experience for me!

4. Rants/raves/questions? since you asked...my workplace has known about my pregnancy since around 6 weeks. I had to tell them because a) with my job I can be exposed to some hazardous situations and would be avoiding those, and b) my unit is small (three employees and the boss) and there’s no way I could keep it hidden with how sick I was. My boss is a nice guy, but sometimes not the quickest. Every day he would ask me how I’m feeling, and after I answered (still tired, trying not to barf, etc) he would follow it up with “do you think you have the flu or something?”. Nope, not the flu - just pregnant!! Literally just in the past week or so it’s finally clicked for him that I actually DON’T have the flu! Lol. I know I should be thankful that he cares (and I am) but come on...

5. GTKY: How many children do you want? I’ve always wanted three. I don’t really enjoy being pregnant though and I’m not sure if I want to do it a third time. We will re-assess once #2 is here and if it really feels like our family isn’t complete maybe we’ll try.
