That gas prices have went back under $3/gal, stopped killing my full-time student budget for now 8. A healthy pregnancy so far 9. DS's babysitter and her girls for being more like his second family 10. S'mores
1. Our new trampoline! 2. Some rainy weather this weekend so I didn't have to spend the entire time on the trampoline with DD. 3. My awesome friends on TB. 4. My Cricut machine that I just discovered I can make wall decals with. 5. Audiobooks. 6. DD's day care teachers who take the best care of her while MH and I are at work. 7. Netflix! 8. Blue Apron. We had mashed potatoes (my biggest pregnancy craving!) last night and they were so delicious. 9. The safety of my coworker's daughter. She was caught in the middle of some really scary flooding that happened at a town next to us over the weekend, but she made it out completely safe. 10. Sparkling flavored water!
@offtoneverland 9. are you talking about ec? that flooding was insanely scary.
1. my dh, who is patient and hard working and far too good for me (let him never realize that, though). 2. my dd, who now says sh*t 5x a day just like her mom, but is otherwise becoming a really great little person. 3. my in-laws, who despite driving me crazy from time to time, are good and unselfish people. 4. my parents, who will always help me when i need it, and usually without judgement. 5. this bmb, who haven’t driven me out yet and still respond to my annoying posts. 6. that this ms and food aversion has mostly gone away—hello third bowl of minestrone! 7. these two new kiddos, who humble me by reminding me that planning is for chumps. 8. air conditioning and similar modern comforts 9. all of the people who finally convinced us to drop cable... what a waste of money it was! 10. (curve ball) garbage collectors—it’s back breaking and dangerous work and i’m thankful to those who do it so that we don’t have to live in our garbage.
@highsteaks we are dropping cable when we move in September. I need to research ways I can still watch some college football and trashy television (the bachelorette!).
1. DH finished our powder bath this weekend, doing all the work himself. Saved us a ton of money and it looks good. 2. My kids. They are a lot of work, but so funny and full of love. 3. My parents visiting this weekend. 4. My doctor writing me a note so I don’t have to travel for work this week. 5. Hopefully Disneyland next week as long as my bronchitis clears. 6. Baby seems to be healthy so far. 7. Approval to take meds to help knock this bronchitis out. 8. Chick-Fil-A diet lemonade mixed with iced tea. 9. Chips and queso 10. 1. My husband 2. Living close to family 3. Good health insurance 4. My car was acting weird; we replaced the battery. Really grateful it was a relatively cheap fix. 5. Local library—I get so much enjoyment out of borrowing ebooks without leaving my bed. 6. I got to hold my co-worker’s brand new baby girl last week. It was wonderful. 7. My parents have been in court again over alimony. They managed to settle the dispute using a mediator. So grateful for this! 8. I’m really worried about which daycare to send my son to next year—they are both good but different. Grateful that I have two good options. 9. Feeling little baby flutters! 10. That ABC cancelled Rosanne after she made some pretty disgusting tweets.
@highsteaks Yes, I was talking about EC. My coworker's daughter was working on Main Street right as the flooding came through. She was very brave and handled it well. She's 19 years old and I was so surprised (and thankful) that she even left her purse behind in the commotion. Are you in Maryland? Good call getting rid of cable. I miss it sometimes, but it is just so expensive. @wannaflickone Yay for getting out of your work trip and for Disneyland next week! I so hope you heal quickly so you can make the trip.
@offtoneverland that flood was so scary. I’m glad your coworkers daughter is safe. I can’t imagine being in the middle of that. And for the second time in two years? Ugh. Have you ever visited old EC? It’s so quaint and cute.. which makes the whole thing even more sad. And that poor man who lost his life helping another woman. Truly terrible.
@highsteaks we cut the cord on cable like 2 years ago and it was such a good decision!
@wannaflickone you could always look in to an internet based tv source such as PlayStation Vue. You can get a couple local channels with those I believe depending on your location.
1. My mom had a freak accident a week ago helping my dad build a deck. She fell like 9 feet and suffered a compound fracture (exposed bone through skin) and she cut an artery. It was super scary and traumatic but a week later and she is healing wonderfully.
2. Our upcoming Disney World trip
3. My DH because he is just amazing.
4. Air conditioning
5. Fudge dipped Oreos (holy moly these things are delicious)
6. Leggings
7. DD. She has been going through an obnoxious whiny phase, but she keeps showing glimmers of hope that we are doing something right with her manners. Now just to get rid of the whining.
1. Naps 2. DD’s amazing preschool teachers. Going to miss them! 3. My mom for babysitting DD yesterday so DH and I could go see Star Wars 4. Cuddles with DD while she’ll still let me. Can’t get enough! 5. Baby flutters 6. My kindle 7. The pool is open (it’s been too rainy to go every day except one but the sun will come out one day!) 8. Ice Cream 9. DH always being my teammate and PIC 10. My health insurance. They covered my NIPT completely (they were vague about how much they would)
I love this! My new years resolution was to write down 3 things I'm thankful for every day. It's the first one I've ever stuck with!
1. DS still wants to sing and rock before bed (he's 3.5 so I'm cherishing every moment of this left) 2. DS did great at his first day of summer class (new teacher's helpers and some new kids) 3. DH & DS built their first fort tonight out of blankets and chairs - I love that DH is so hands on 4. DH got me more choc chip cookie dough ice cream 5. My bestie is having her baby tomorrow!!!! 6. My parents who love DS so much (and vice versa) 7. This baby who we never thought we'd have without IVF 8. My friends here. I hated this city when we moved here, but now I am going to be so sad to leave them 9. A job that allows me to work once a week on the weekend 10. My OB who is so warm and fuzzy and feels invested in this pregnancy with me

@offtoneverland dh and i lived in frederick when we were first married. we bought a house in wv, but dh still works in frederick. we’ve been to ec a few times in the past; it is/was really a wonderful little town. i hope they can figure out how to stop the flooding, if such a thing is possible.
@pink_polkadots how horrible! i’m glad to hear that she’s ok.
@pink_polkadots There you are! It had been a few days since you posted and I was getting worried about you since I'm not sure where in HoCo you live. So glad you're safe! I'm so so sorry to hear about your mom's accident. That is so scary, but what a miracle that she's recovering and doing well after such a scary accident. ETA: I forgot to answer your question--yes, we've been to OEC many times. I love it there so much and I'm so saddened that it was destroyed all over again. I really hope they can fix it to prevent this from happening. I'm not sure what else they can do, and it's not worthwhile to dump millions of dollars of renovations into it every few years after huge floods. MH and I made a pact to never go there when rain is on the forecast, or at least in the rainy season when the ground has been saturated for weeks already. It happened in an instant and it's just so scary. @lifesabeach85 Reading anything good on your Kindle right now?
@highsteaks & @wannaflickone - we dropped cable 3 years ago. We have netflix and hulu (bachelorette for you) and during football season we pay for sling tv (and then cancel when it's over). We also have the cbs app, because new cbs shows aren't on hulu and we watch a couple of those. Still way cheaper than cable!

Oh I almost forgot! We have an amazon fire box we got when we cancelled cable. I think it was $75ish? So we download all our apps onto that and watch them on tv.

@offtoneverland here I am and we are all safe. I’ve been so tired as well as helping out with my mom with her injury as much as possible, so I haven’t been able to post too much. Although she’s in this for the long haul (dr told her she’ll be healing for about a year) , she is getting her spirits back and is gaining a little bit of independence. She’s a tough cookie, that’s for sure. I haven’t been to OEC in a few years, but my husband and I have fond memories of having a few romantic dinners there before we got married, and the coffee shop The Bean Hollow was one of my favorite places to go when I was in high school. It’s so devastating and I really don’t know what they can do to fix it. All the overdevelopment of the land has taken away all the trees and vegetation that helped soak up that extra water. It’s really quite sad.
1. Hearing the sweet heart beat at my 16W appointment today. 2. A lunch date with just DH and I today. 3. My SIL made it back from her Alaska cruise. (Stage 4 breast cancer, stopped treatment a couple months ago, was predicted to only live to March and she is still with us.) 4. SIL should be able to celebrate her 38th birthday on Thursday. (We didn't think she would make it.) 5. My mom for taking care of my son while I was sick and DH was working last week. 6. My inhaler for keeping me breathing properly through this yucky virus. 7. Teacher summer vacation. (I am taking a class but its online.) 8. Having my/our families near. 9. My new car. 10. My daycare lady being accepting of having my son a couple half days next school year because he starts preschool and I would hate to move him to a different daycare b/c of it. (She originally told me she didn't do half days.) We can't afford preschool and full day daycare and adding baby to it in January.
@mockingjay1 DS also loves to be rocked and sings with me to sleep. He just turned 3. Sometimes I wish I could just put him to bed but most days I love that he wants to rock and snuggle.
1 - My DH for working so hard to provide for us and making my travel dreams a reality (started counting down for our baby moon)
2 - All the advice & input given in this November Bump group. I'm loving getting to know you all.
3 - My bestie for wanting to throw us a gender reveal party
4 - My eye just finished healing and the scar is not in my line of vision so I won't have any issues seeing out of that eye.
5 - My parents for always being there and driving me around when my eye was injured and I couldn't drive myself
6 - My in-laws for our new red aloe plant. The aloe plant got with the house died and I have no idea how that happened.
7 - My work for transferring me to a "safer" position so I don't have to worry or stress during this pregnancy
8 - my Movie Pass, I feel like I am getting great use out of it and since I haven't been enjoying popcorn lately (my theory is baby gates it since I normally love it, idk if that's even possible but nothing else makes sense) I've been saving lots of $$
9 - my DH again for changing the garage door opener last weekend so we can no longer hear and feel it in the soon to be baby's room
10 - to be living on Oahu and to be pretty much unaffected by the floods in Kauai and the volcano on Big Island
I do think that a 4 day work weeks absolutely deserve to be on this list. I had to edit though cause I accidentally had 11 things instead of 10. I guess I still kinda do by keeping it in this bottom paragraph.
1. DH for being a wonderfully supportive man, even if I've been a super crank as of late. 2. That my pup just has allergies and not something serious. 3. My anatomy scan is less than a week away and DH gets to come! He can finally hear the heartbeat and see baby which makes it more real for him. 4. Our wonderful families who are always there for us. 5. Hopefully a night away with DH this weekend to a casino for his 30th (which is tomorrow!) 6. Nice weather! 7. Plans to go to our favorite hibachi restaurant! 8. Half day Fridays at work all summer that start in just a few weeks 9. Where I live. Summertime here is the best and I can't wait to visit the next town over all summer. 10. A pretty good pregnancy so far, hoping to continue on this path!

Awe, I missed this thread. And yay for everyone planning Disney trips!! Ours is mid-August and I’ve been planning like crazy.
1. Hemorrhoids not being as scary as I feared they would be. 2. ZOFRAN 3. Food aversions finally starting to calm down 4. This rainy weather. I know lots of people are over it but I am loving the coziness. 5. Even though I’m still not thrilled about the unexpected expense, I do love our new refrigerator. I forgot how awesome crushed ice is. 6. Netflix and the selection of space shows I’ve been super into (shout out to The 100 ) 7. Baked Cheetos 8. This oatmeal raisin cookie recipe: https://www.the-girl-who-ate-everything.com/chewy-oatmeal-raisin-cookies/ 9. Maternity jeans 10. This BMB and the supportive, drama-free women who make it up.
1. Being pregnant. Although we all know it sucks at times, my husband and I have wanted this for so long and I can't be more thrilled that everything is going well so far. 2. Speaking of him, I've gotta give it up for my husband. He's been pulling a lot of slack around the house lately and I'm so appreciative. Plus, every morning before he leaves for work he says "I love my girls!" which makes my heart melt 3. My friend who's a member at Shinnecock in Southampton. We're going to be golfing with her this weekend, a week before the US Open begins. My husband says this is a "once in a lifetime", although I'm really not looking forward to walking 8 miles I'm taking one for the team since it will only be in the mid-60s. My friend said she played this past weekend and Tiger Woods was out there, and I'd kind of like to see my husband squeal like a little girl with excitement at seeing him Any golf fans out there? 4. These babies: https://www.skinnypop.com/our-popcorn/popcorn-puffs/white-cheddar/ 5. I work with all men I have had my issues with my boss from time to time, but he's been wonderful during my pregnancy. 6. Grilling season 7. HGTV 8. Our town. I love our quiet street and that NYC is so easily accessible. 9. My friend who has offered to take me to do my baby registry. She's an ultra Type A personality and did tons of research when she was pregnant with her daughter, and I couldn't be more thankful she's willing to share her insights with me! 10. Central A/C
Hearing the heartbeat at my appointment yesterday.
Wonder Woman and Rey action figures, it's adorable watching DD1 play with them.
The Little Mermaid barbie that DD2 is loving right now, she sings and dances along with it which is priceless.
New contract coming in as one of my current ones is possibly ending in a month.
Super awesome DH who cleaned up the kitchen yesterday so I could make dinner, then proceeded to clean it up afterwards.
Excellent friends and colleagues who have been supportive.
I got to see Westminster Abbey on our trip to London last week, it was amazing.
Comfortable maternity clothes that make me look more pregnant than overweight.
Scheduling that 20 week anatomy scan on my wedding anniversary.
The blessing of having this family and being able to provide them stability, a loving home, healthy (and unhealthy) food, a good education, and help them explore the world.
@hollyeva we did our early gender scan on our 10 year anniversary, I loved it
I always love these!!! Mine will be short and sweet though, lol I’m tired

@ashkee05 Now I want a Snapple! I haven't had one in ages. I have also been enjoying fruit a lot lately. @ginny_203 Do you go to NYC often? We're going in early July to see Dear Evan Hansen and I can't wait! Now I need to decide where we should eat. I love going to the city. @MouseMama817 This:
@offtoneverland almost every day of the week Although I haven't seen it, I've heard great things about Dear Evan Hansen. If you let me know what areas of the city you'll be in, I can definitely recommend some good spots!
@offtoneverland buy a 6 pack the new plastic bottles are crap. I don’t care what anyone says, it tastes different! But the 6 packs are still glass and amazing!!
@ginny_203 Thank you! I'll think about it and will send you a PM before our trip to get some recommendations! We'll probably just stay near the Times Square area, but sometimes MH likes to explore some other areas of the city, so I'll have to see what he wants to do. @lifesabeach85 I told MH that's all I wanted for my birthday this year, and he likes seeing shows too so he was willing to oblige. My birthday is actually this weekend, but we couldn't find any tickets for June, so July it is!
1. My husband 2. Having a good support system with both family and friends 3. fruit.... I think its helping keep hydrated cause itd one of the only things that doesn't make me sick 4. wearing scrubs every day to work 5. sweatpants for when I'm home 6. my health 7. Hearing the babys heartbeat 8. ice cream 9. having wednesdays off 10. naps
@offtoneverland Nooo! I usually agree, but this recipe is beyond. It’s not too sweet, not too soft, lots of walnuts to offset the sweetness that is there. It’s perfecccttt.

I do think that a 4 day work weeks absolutely deserve to be on this list. I had to edit though cause I accidentally had 11 things instead of 10. I guess I still kinda do by keeping it in this bottom paragraph.
2. That my pup just has allergies and not something serious.
3. My anatomy scan is less than a week away and DH gets to come! He can finally hear the heartbeat and see baby which makes it more real for him.
4. Our wonderful families who are always there for us.
5. Hopefully a night away with DH this weekend to a casino for his 30th (which is tomorrow!)
6. Nice weather!
7. Plans to go to our favorite hibachi restaurant!
8. Half day Fridays at work all summer that start in just a few weeks

Plus, every morning before he leaves for work he says "I love my girls!" which makes my heart melt
3. My friend said she played this past weekend and Tiger Woods was out there, and I'd kind of like to see my husband squeal like a little girl with excitement at seeing him
4. These babies: https://www.skinnypop.com/our-popcorn/popcorn-puffs/white-cheddar/
5. I work with all men I have had my issues with my boss from time to time, but he's been wonderful during my pregnancy.
6. Grilling season
7. HGTV
8. Our town. I love our quiet street and that NYC is so easily accessible.
9. My friend who has offered to take me to do my baby registry. She's an ultra Type A personality and did tons of research when she was pregnant with her daughter, and I couldn't be more thankful she's willing to share her insights with me!
10. Central A/C
