  • @lurvleybunchococonuts -that would piss me off for the day too and seems to be the norm around here as well.

My Monday BF: went shopping yesterday with the family to get some summer clothes that fit, because I have like two dresses that I feel okay leaving the house in atm. Anyway, DH can't understand why I'm in a bitchy mood when we get done and both kids have two new outfits, he has three or four, and I only end up with a pair of flip-flops because everything I tried on just looked like I was wearing a tent. ugh. still pissy and without clothes.
  • @lurvleybunchococonuts - ugh that would piss me off too!

My only bitch is at the heat/humidity here. We went to the zoo today and it was pretty miserable most of the time. Even DS was low key and spent most of the time in his stroller and acted exhausted.

  • BF is at work. Family is 600 miles away. In-laws have excluded me, my one friend is off having fun with her family. Feeling utterly alone today. Especially after fighting with the BF all day yesterday.
  • @lurvleybunchococonuts ugh so frustrating! I hope your husband finds a way to make it up to you. It’s just like, suck it up man and pull some extra weight. I’ve been there with mine recently!

  • I'll jump on the DH BF train.
Mine has said no to sex every single time I've asked (usually because it's super early AM and he's too tired). Yes, I've said no a bunch to him, but because I felt awful at the time or exhausted. He's going out to a concert tonight, so I tried to get a little action before he left. I had just turned on a cartoon for ds and told DH we could go to the office... Where there is a guest bed and a locking door. But nooooooooooo, ds is awake and he couldn't possibly, even though he has done it in the past. I'm just so over it. I know I'm extra emotional and I started crying, then he got mad that I was crying and accused me of trying to ruin his night blah blah blah. He can be such a major a**.

  • @lurvleybunchococonuts that would make me all sorts of ragey.

My BF is bronchitis. I’ve had it since Thursday and it is terrible. I think being pregnant makes it ten times worse because the ab muscles I would typically have to help support my back and chest while I cough are now non-existent. Everything aches and I pee myself multiple times a day. I’m supposed to head out on a work trip on a Wednesday, but I have no idea how I will function.

@wannaflickone - oh no! I hope you feel better soon!
@middleschoolmommy - I can't believe your DH ever says no to sex. I think mine has only said no once or twice ever!

  • @wannaflickone Oh, no, I hope you feel better soon!!! I was pretty sick early with a cough in the first trimester with my first pregnancy and this one, but I can’t imagine a nasty cough further along into the pregnancy!

This no appointment for a month is driving me crazy after having one every week. My next one is June 18th and it seems like forever away. I just want to k now that everything is okay.
  • @bfpafter4years Ugh. I know how you feel. I just had my first appointment in two months, and they didn't even check baby's heartbeat. Luckily, I have my doppler, but it was still frustrating. I've been in between doctors, so it was essentially just a consultation appointment where they told me all the same stuff I was told at my 8 week.
  • @lurvleybunchococonuts Wtf. I still wouldn’t have done it. I don’t have experience w/ litter boxes so I don’t know how long you can stand to let them go but I would be on litter box strike. If you have to put on a hazmat suit to complete a chore, it’s not your chore. Like seriously we depend on them for a few weeks and they act like we haven’t been taking care of them for years. SMH.
I asked DH to order our groceries yesterday and he complained that he’d just sat down so why couldn’t I do it? Um, I handed you your laptop on the couch. Stop being a baby.

@msb11182018 That really sucks, I’m sorry. Clothes shopping right now is the worst. I went to 5 different stores trying to find a dress for my cousins graduation. You’d think it would be simple to find a maxi dress but nope. I was nearly crying by the time I gave up.

@middleschoolmommy That would make me cry too. I rarely initiate sex and rebuff about 70% of DH’s advances. I think he’s said no to me maaaybe twice. And I know I got emotional about it both times.

I feel like anything could result in a BF for me this week. I feel so petty.

  • DHs family is driving me crazy. My MIL lives with us and pretty soon one of us is going to have to go. She has a problem with EVERYTHING i do or don’t do and I’m over it. We had his dad a step mom over on Sunday and she asked when we were going to stop having kids already. UMMMMM when I’m good and damn well ready. I find their entitlement and poor behaviour so offensive.
  • the-lothe-lo member
@middleschoolmommy So sorry to hear that. Sex is hard right now. But he totally handled that wrong. Rejection right now is the WORST. Hang in there!

  • @jessielynn1 You are a saint for letting your MIL live with you. I am so sorry she is being difficult.

  • @jessielynn1 I would for SURE need an alibi if my MIL lived with us :joy: good luck!  Sounds like a rough situation.  Is she staying with you for long?  For sanity's sake I hope not.

  • @lurvleybunchococonuts Ugh, that's a totally justified BF! I would have been pissed too.
@msb11182018 I can relate to that. I went shopping this weekend too and my friend made a few comments like "just check the plus size section." Um, I have a tiny bump, going to plus would not help.
@middleschoolmommy Ugh getting rejected is the worst. I'm sorry YH made you feel that way.
@wannaflickone I hope you get better soon!

AFM This weekend I decided to let the bump out and the belly rubbing started. 6 different people rubbed my belly. I am NOT looking forward to this the rest of the pregnancy!

Also something is wrong with my pup. She has been getting sick all weekend, most recently at 4 this morning in our bed. I made an appt for tonight at the vet but I fear they will want to do some crazy expensive test all to tell me she has allergies or something. Fingers crossed it's nothing serious and can be easily fixed without a big bill!

  • @tessiesmom26 Has your pup had a "cough"? My MIL had mentioned over the weekend something about "dog flu" going around I dunno... seems weird to me, but apparently it's a thing (I'm not a dog owner so honestly she could be pulling my leg and I wouldn't know)?  I hope your pup is okay.

  • @lurvleybunchococonuts She has! It started after she was outside for a bit, she would come in and cough then get sick. She is only throwing up bile, not any food so I don't think it's anything she ate. The vet asked me a few times if she could have gotten into anything toxic but she is pretty much always monitored so I don't think she has. I didn't know dog flu was a thing but it would make sense!

Yes. My mind keeps messing with me. I wish the appointments were closer.
  • Ugh. This heat. It’s “only” 85 but was in the mid-90s the last few days. Brutal.
  • @lurvleybunchococonuts unfortunately it’s permanent right now. She used to just visit from back home and stay 6 months at a time but DH has sponsored her sooooo were now responsible for her and she needs to find a job etc. My biggest issue with her is how she compares everything to how it’s done back home. Your not back home your in Canada now. Back home is very different and is a third world country embrace the changes and how much easier and accessibile everyday necessities are. And..... for the love of everything holy stop bathing my kids and washing dishes in the backyard. We have indoor plumbing !
  • @jessielynn1 I don’t think I could ever live with my MIL. You are a saint. For now anyway lol. Where did she move from?
  • @jessielynn1 - Oy, I'm sorry you're having to deal with her. Is there a plan to get her in her own place soon? Can you guys swing renting her her own cheap apartment until she gets a job? There is literally no circumstance I can imagine where I'd agree to letting my MIL live with us (we aren't close with her and she has boundary issues). You must be more tolerant than I am!

  • @MouseMama817  yea for now I am lol. She’s from Jamaica.
@mockingjay1 unfortunately that’s not an option right now. She’s very dependent so having her living elsewhere would be more stress or different stresses I should say. Things like driving and getting around all that stuff she would need me as well she’s never really had a steady job so it’s going to take sometime which I’m ok with let’s just get on the same page lol. She does give me help with the kids in terms of getting the older one to school and minding the younger two while I’m at work. With DH being gone 5 days a week for work I also need the support. Just wish we understood each other more I try to see her perspective and be reasonable but she’s very much it’s my way or no way. Anyways we’ll see what the coming months bring fx I stay out of jail long enough to have this baby lol.
  • Why are maternity clothes so expensive? I shouldn’t have to pay $30-$40 for a dress that will only get worn for a few months. Greedy bishes. :unamused:
