Found out today we are expecting a gir!! Here is our short list. I’ve recently become hesitant to use Josephine because it is gaining popularity fast. Thoughts?

I voted for Josephine. It’s probably the most popular of your choices and has gone from being ranked in the 400s when we were born to now just outside the top 100. But it’s beautiful and classic and there are some great nicknames, and I have never met a young Josephine.

I prefer Estelle. It's a classically beautiful name and isn't too popular. The reason why I didn't choose Josephine is because I don't like the nickname of Jo or Joey for a girl, but that's just me.

I love Josephine the most, but voted for Sylvia since you think Josephine is too popular, which I personally don't. (but, I much prefer Sylvie to all of them...one of my favorite names ever).
