Understanding friends- I keep skipping out on evening activities because I’m pooped by 8.
And then I’ve had an afternoon this weekend planned with a girlfriend for about a month and I totally canceled on her so I can take my dog to my parents in Oklahoma during the bathroom remodel. She told me I could make it up to her by cooking her dinner at our next night together, and I was like “Nope- no bathroom- we’re going out that night.” I’m thinking my favorite tapas place; it has been forever since I went there.
We’re going on a road trip to Calgary/Banff this weekend and I’m thankful one of my good friends is able to meet us tomorrow at the Calgary Zoo (they have Pandas right now!).
Thankful for DH, he's getting so excited about the twins and giving me ideas for the reveal on Saturday! Also for my brothers gf for making me chocolate chip pancakes this morning And as always for a of you ladies giving me phenomenal amounts of support as we go through this new exciting part of the journey!!!
I'm thankful for a long weekend, for getting out of work early tomorrow and getting a way over due hair cut and highlight, for DH's seasonal sports related part time jobs all officially being done this coming week and getting my husband back.
I'm thankful for a good AS and finding out our baby boy is healthy. I got myself all worked up and stressed out the day before the AS. I'm so happy it's over! I'm thankful that I'm off work tomorrow and I get to spend most of the day with DS1.
I’m thankful that my weekend starts tonight! I’m off work tomorrow and heading to the beach in the morning for one of my BFF’s bachelorette party weekend!
Feeling really down right now. I need to generate some positive thoughts. Thankful for my family. Their love and understanding never wavers... even when my depression brings out the ugliest sides of me.
@krzyriver So sorry you are feeling down. I'm right there with you today. Just know that we are here for you if you need to vent or even just for a little support.
@ladyofarlington Ugh, yes I desperately need someone to talk to. But typing it all out would be way too much right now. It's been an emotional day.
@SawyerRichardson I'm so sorry you're feeling down too. Hopefully this day will turn around for the both of us. Actually just knowing y'all are here for me is helping already.
ETA: Why does my work computer crunch my paragraphs into one jumbled mess?!
@krzyriver and @SawyerRichardson So Sorry to hear you ladies are feeling down today. That can be really tough. I hope you both are able to do something relaxing and that you love to lift your spirits! Thinking of you both!
AFM I’m so thankful I have started to feel the baby the last couple of days. I have really had a hard time enjoying being pregnant up to this point, but when the baby kicked my hand last night I couldn’t help but fall even more in love with the little one! I’m hoping I will now start loving being pregnant, or at least start connecting more with the baby!
@krzyriver and @SawyerRichardson i know im a little late to respond, down days can be tough, know we're all here for you ladies If you need to talk about anything or even need a distraction from the day! I hope your days turned around and tomorrow will be better!
Also thankful to meet my godbaby, she and mom are healthy and doing great.
It’s my birthday, so DH watched the toddler most of the day so I could get work done. He took him grocery shopping, picked up dinner, is making me dessert as we speak, and then we’re watching the Survivor finale. Good day.
@hellopartyof5 My parents offered to watch our new baby next year when DH and I visit them and go off to London/Scotland for a week. We were going to go do that whole big vacation in October of this year, but life had other plans . So I'm thankful that my parents may be able to help us out and provide free babysitting! Also, what a cool experience for a baby (even though she won't remember).. spending a week with your grandparents in a foreign country halfway across the world! I'm jealous already haha!
I’m thankful for who my husband is as a person. He went to a bachelor party for his friend in Texas that was supposed to go through Memorial Day.
He got there Wednesday and called me this morning to tell me he’s leaving early because the groom’s friends were doing things that made him uncomfortable (read: cocaine) and he wasn’t going to stay in that situation. I’m proud of him for trusting his gut and removing himself. Plus if that was a Thursday night, I can’t even imagine what weekend festivities would be like for that group...

I'm thankful for all you ladies being super supportive and listening to my rants this week. And for you Boston recommendations!
My hubby for being understanding, listening to my concerns, and showing me how much he loves me.
My SS who I now have to go 10 days without seeing because of my work trip and our schedule.
DH's ex who was actually agreeable this week!

Also thankful that my anatomy scan is finally only a week away!
