Hi ladies!
25+1 and my GD screening is Tuesday. I’m feeling good. Right bottom rib nerve pain is the only thing bothering me. My friend & mom are throwing me a shower on 8/4- very small with just local friends- a ladies lunch.
In other news I went to BRU today with my mom and deals are up to 40% off. I bought a pack-n-play with bassinet that baby will sleep in our room to start since the nursery is upstairs and we are down as well as a crib mattress. Also started my registry in person at BBB but I ran out of steam very quickly in as BRU was overwhelming. Why are nursery chairs so expensive??

How far along? 20+5, past halfway! Appts this coming week? M/w appointment Tuesday
How're you feeling this week? Overall good. I’m really only showing to the point that people who know me well can see it. Had a minor freak out going to a BBQ last weekend. It was my first “all of my social clothes feel like they announce it” moment. Turns out, no one could tell ‘til someone brought it up. Oh well.
GTKY: What is everyone doing as far as showers / sprinkles? Who is hosting? Are you having multiple showers? Etc. A friend of mine has been waiting to host this for a couple years now, and we just set the date! Past that, DH and I *might* try to do a BBQ at the park or something that’s more of a general get together so his friends can come hang out, too.
@lablover78 congrats on the deals! 40% off is no joke. Good luck Tuesday!
I'm sticking around 2nd Tri for one more week since it is web/app specific if week 27 is 2nd or 3rd tri. Last week of the 2nd tri seems to be the more popular answer.
How far along? 27 weeks today
Appts this coming week? Tomorrow is a long appt. Follow up ultrasound at 2:30 to check up on his right kidney (his left kidney did not develop due to MCDK). They will also look at the possible ureterocele in the bladder (this is what possibly caused the MCDK) to see if there is any change. My last two scans have shown that I have a low placenta so if it hasn't shifted we will start to anticipate a c-section. After the ultrasound I have my glucose test with OB check up. It's going to be a long day.
How're you feeling this week? The weekend was so busy so I'm starting the week exhausted. It was only the only free weekends we have together until August so we went car shopping and furniture shopping. By some miracle it all got done and I'm very relieved that the nursery furniture is purchased. We ended up splurging at Pottery Barn which was a shock to me but H really liked one of the sets and when he gets excited for the baby I don't get in his way.
GTKY: What is everyone doing as far as showers / sprinkles? Who is hosting? Are you having multiple showers? Etc. In a couple of weeks our friends in Boston are hosting a Jack/ Jill not-so-traditional shower/ party at a restaurant on a Friday night. I won't open gifts but my registry links were on the invite. In July my mom and friend are hosting a much more traditional baby shower in my hometown at my friend's house.

How far along? 19+3 Appts this coming week? I was scheduled for anatomy scan this week, but due to a complication (see below) it got bumped up to last week. The good news is the anatomy scan went perfectly and we are having a Boy AND a girl! How're you feeling this week? Last week was rough. I woke up Sunday morning around 4am bleeding. This happened to me early on in my pregnancy due to a SCH, so I tried not to panic. I'd been bleed free for 10 weeks so it certainly wasn't something I was expecting at 18 weeks but it stopped as quickly as it started. They put me on bedrest and brought me in for an early anatomy scan- it's another (or maybe the same) hematoma. It's small, and near my cervix but not near the babies or the placentas. It's not really dangerous as it is now but the risks are that it could either grow/move OR heavy bleeding could force my water to break. So I'm back on pelvic rest and limited activity- no bed rest officially but rest as much as possible. My OB has me coming in every 2 weeks now moving forward.
I've also been having terrible sciatica pain. One side tingles when I lay down, the other throbs/spasms depending on how I'm sitting/laying. The couch has been particularly problematic, I guess not enough support. I seem to feel better standing/sitting up straight in a firm chair. Sort of hard to be on modified bed rest when it hurts your back to do so! I'd really like to see a chiropractor but I'm nervous about the implications with the SCH.
GTKY: What is everyone doing as far as showers / sprinkles? Who is hosting? Are you having multiple showers? Etc. A friend is hosting one for me where I live in mid-July. I was really hoping my MIL would offer to host one at her house in Orlando since I have a ton of friends in FL that might not make the trip otherwise, but so far she hasn't and I hate to ask.
1st cycle of IVF started April 9, 2017. ER- 15R, 7M, 5F, 4 frozen, 1 transferred. BFN

June-August 2017- 2nd attempt via FET. 2 Embryos transferred on 08/10/17. BFP, but ended in a chemical.

January 2018- 3rd attempt via FET. 2 Embryos transferred on 01/25/18. BOLD BFP on a HPT on 1/31, Beta # 1 on 2/5= 721. Beta # 2 on 2/7- 1903. 6wk+3 day scan revealed twins!
Hi, y'all! 15w1d here. It's hilarious watching my bump grow during that day. I wake up with a flat stomach and by the end, I look 20weeks, haha. Ds asked me where the baby was since he couldn't see my bump.
I may have an MFM appt this week, just depends on when my lab work comes back, either way I'm going, just don't know it will be this week. I'm nervous about it as my Dr says it's to early for ICP to be showing up.
I never had a shower with ds as we literally lived week to week of when he would be born, so this go round, I would like to do something. I'm betting the ladies from my church will host it, but it will need to be late in second tri to ensure that I can be there.
@laurad75 I hope your appt goes well! Exciting about your successful shopping trip!

How're you feeling this week? Feeling good pregnancy wise- tired! I put in my two weeks notice for work last week and I am so excited! I have been working from home since after baby- went back after my DS was six weeks old and it's been difficult for awhile as my son is super active. I wanted to have a few months with just him before baby so I am looking forward to having a fun summer with him.

Appts this coming week? Fetal echo this morning and everything looks good fortunately. Baby was a little uncooperative at first but they eventually got all the pics they needed. The MFM herself told us everything looks good with baby, yay! The bad news is that my placenta previa doesn't seem to have resolved yet, which isn't a crisis -- there's still time for it to move -- but I was really really hoping it would look good and we just wouldn't have to worry about it
How're you feeling this week? Still so nauseous and barfy. People keep promising me it will go away, and yet...? It is nice to have the fetal echo done now, though, and have the rest of my pregnancy just be "normal" post-IVF!
GTKY: I'm not sure what will happen actually. It would be OK with me if we skipped a shower since my in-laws are really dramatic and difficult. It hasn't come up at all so I guess TBD. My parents are visiting us in June and want to help get some stuff for the baby so I think we'll just do a tiny family version.
dragonfly6191 I somehow missed your post! So sorry to hear about the SCH- I hope it goes away soon and stays at a spot that isn't concerning. And that's so much fun, a girl and a boy!
@adirat sorry about your placenta previa- but great news about your fetal echo!

in passing.

girl!!! I’m sorry you have been having
complications I’m sure that must be very scary and tough to stay put. Sending
you good vibes that those babies stay safe and sound.
@adirat you are my partner in never ending nausea. It’s not fair. I have given up about taking the high road
with it and now constantly complain about STILL being sick. I’m just so much fun to be around. Hope your previa improves that uterus and
baby still has a lot of growing to do.

How far along? 25w4d Appts this coming week? Nothing until the beginning of June... the dreaded GD. How're you feeling this week? Heartburn is miserable. I can now only sleep well on one side so my hips are killing me. Even during the day I start feeling my lower back/hips/knees/ankles/feet start to... I don't know how to explain it... stretch out? Get super achy? People tell me this is all due to relaxin and there's no helping it but holy hell does it hurt sometimes and Tylenol is just a cruel joke. GTKY: What is everyone doing as far as showers / sprinkles? Who is hosting? Are you having multiple showers? Etc. My mom and stepmother are co-hosting a co-ed "shower" (really more of a lunch and drinks, no games) at our house, which is 2 hours away from where they live, just so we don't have to lug our gifts back to our house. I don't have much family so my stepsister and sister are also coming down, but the rest of the people will be DH's and my friends from here in town. So I'm stressed about the state of the house since I can no longer really clean or do anything physical for more than like an hour at the most. DH keeps adding new projects to his already absurd list of things he wants to do, so I'm stressing more than I think is necessary. I tried to convince him to let me get a cleaning crew and he flat out refuses. Grr.
MIL is hosting a shower at her house about 5 hours away two weeks after the one here (she and FIL are also coming to this one), and I have exactly zero idea who is even coming. I hear it's some of DH's extended family who I barely know and MIL's old lady friends who I've never met. Sounds like a nightmare. Am I a d*ck for complaining?
Also, question for those who have registries up and running: We used BabyList and it sends me notifications when someone reserves a gift. So far, only my one coworker and my mom's cousin have gotten something off the list, and MIL's old lady friend got two things that the old ladies are going in on together, and the shower is 19 days away. I hate to be *that person* but is it normal for people to wait until the last second? I feel this overwhelming need to know if we're getting everything so that I can shop sales for the stuff we aren't getting - and there are tons of sales right now (like our high chair is $20 off at Target). Gah, I really need to find my center.
I can't believe I get to join this group. For a long time, I just didn't think it would happen for me. How far along? 14 weeks 3 days with a BOY!!!! Appts this coming week? No appointments which is driving me nuts. I've been having frequent ultrasounds but none in the past two weeks. How're you feeling this week? A little bit better I think? I've had a lot of nausea and vomiting and so far this week it's been OK. GTKY: What is everyone doing as far as showers / sprinkles? Who is hosting? Are you having multiple showers? Etc. I don't think I've having a sprinkle or shower. I've been intensely private about all of this and still haven't told many people yet. We shall see...
I'm excited to be a part of the group. There are many of you that I recognize back from the IF board.

Hi ladies!!! I'm new to the second trimester board, I'm due November 15, and we're team green! So excited to be here with all of you!!!
How far along? 14 weeks 4 days
Appts this coming week? Yup! I see my MFM OB tomorrow. No formal ultrasound but he does have this small, handheld ultrasound thing that he'll use to check the heartbeat. I'm SO excited to see my little babe tomorrow!!
How're you feeling this week? Aside from some miserable allergies, I'm okay. Still nauseous and have some serious food aversions but I'm working through it. Also, feeling like this belly is growing at a record speed. I look like I did when I was 5-6 months pregnant with my son and I'm only just starting month 4!
GTKY: What is everyone doing as far as showers / sprinkles? Who is hosting? Are you having multiple showers? Etc. This is my second so no shower but my mom is talking about a sprinkle possibly after the baby is born, especially if it's a girl since I have a boy. We arrnar finding out the gender and he was a summer baby so this baby isn't going to be able to wear much of his clothes.
@adirat sorry about the placenta previa and YES strollers! So.many.choices.
@BusinessWife I saw on the Sept board you did your Amazon- I tried mine- finished checklist, made a purchase but it’s still telling me I’m not eligible for the box/free gift because I haven’t made a purchase- does it take a minute for it to process that?

Welcome! @mechelita44 so fun to have another Team Green-er here!
@lablover78 um, yeah, it's annoying AF. The first thing I ordered didn't count because it was also in my saved for later, so even when it shipped, it didn't meet the requirements. The next time I tried, I did see the number change to one item purchased, on the right hand side, on desktop. But no checkmark... so now this is me obsessively tracking my order to see of the check mark appears once the item actually ships...???
If it doesn't switch over in the system by the time my item arrives, I plan on reaching out again to Amazon.
@lablover78. I think coffee is probably fine, but I would drink it black and skip any milk, in case they did want it done more or less fasting. The coffee shouldn't mess with your levels much - if at all, but the milk contains lactose, so that would impact your numbers.
@sarcsticowl Sorry about the heartburn and swelling. I hear you that Tylenol is useless. Have you tried pre-natal yoga? That has really helped me with my back issues
and learning some techniques for the swelling.
I don’t know much about BabyList but I wouldn’t be too
concerned about what has been purchased.
Maybe they are all just going to give you cash.
Great to see you here @radmom27! We’ve had quite a ride together so far haven’t
we?!
I’m super anxious for my appointment today. I know baby boy is doing fine because he’s
been so active lately but my husband is traveling so I’ll be alone and that
just makes me nervous. I was told there
was no need to fast before my glucose test but I’m being extra careful with my
sugar intake just in case. It’s going to
be a long day before I leave work at 1:30.

@laurad75 Good point. Now if only I could just stop myself from buying that high chair As for prenatal yoga, I've actually started doing some stretching moves - mostly just on my hands and knees, curving my back up and stretching it back out - I assume this is some sort of cat move? LOL - and it's actually helped a lot. Like, instantly, which was a huge surprise.
Good luck with your appointment today. You'll do great! Definitely eat before you go - I know being nervous, underfed and having blood drawn always makes me a little woozy, so definitely grab yourself some veggies and protein at least. Realistically they're looking at your levels before and after the glucose so they can tell how it's affecting you whether you've got any sugar in you before or not. So a little bit of carbs won't hurt
@sarcasticowl Now I have to know, what is the high chair? I feel kinda bad bc the one I picked is so $$$ We like it bc its wood and converts to a real chair, rather than a temporary plastic thing, but it's tough because I hate to ask for such expensive things... :/
Meanwhile, I'm a little frustrated the crib wasn't purchased during the 20% spring promo at Target, the pack n play is full price again on Amazon... what can you do???
I agree with the plastic part but this seemed a little more substantial than a typical all-plastic chair and cleanability was my #1 requirement. It's a bonus that it converts!
***lurking*** @radmom27 I lurked on this board and saw your name. Congratulations!!! I'm so so excited for you. All the best with the remainder of your pregnancy

I'm feeling good pregnancy wise, but have had terrible allergies for the last 5 days. I finally called my doctor yesterday to find out what is safe to take and she okay'd me for regular benedryl at night and regular claritin during the day. I took benadryl last night before bed and DH said that I wasn't tossing and turning or snoring at all, so I guess it worked!
As far as showers, I've posted before about being a no-shower/no-registry kind of girl. I am tentatively thinking about hosting a coed get-together at a brewery here in Brooklyn in August. It would be "no gifts, but if you feel you can't show up empty handed, we'd love a book for the baby's library". And, this is my favorite part...I want to host it at Threes Brewing cause "baby makes three....s brewing!" That just tickles me to no end.

@sarcasticowl it's pretty typical for people to wait until the last minute to purchase things from the registry- also be prepared that a lot of people just buy clothes or other things they have picked out themselves. With my son's baby shower we also got quite a few gift cards which I used to purchase anything remaining from my registry with the discount! I had a BabyList and also Amazon and majority of people shopped off of the Amazon registry.
@lablover what time is your appt? I will be getting an early AM appt this time around- last time my appt wasn't until 3pm and so obviously I was eating and drinking normally all day- needless to say I failed my 1st test. I ended up not having GD thankfully. Good luck with yours!! If you have an early AM test I would probably suggest waiting for the coffee until after especially if you have cream and sugar with it

@chicandbubbly Thanks for that! I knew as soon as we found out we were having a girl that we'd be inundated with clothing, so I'm gearing up for that even though we have a ton already
Also, I hope I don't sound like a spoiled brat. It's totally not like that. DH was actually not into having a shower/showers AT ALL because we are not crazy fond of the idea of crowdsourcing baby things we 'should' be buying ourselves. He got over it once he realized how much we would need, and that with me leaving my job after my maternity leave is up, it will save us a bunch of money. It's just been hard giving up control and hoping for the best and imagining myself lugging a cart full of crap through Target at 8 months pregnant
Okay, so I haven't done a proper check in here yet, but I wanted to update anyway from my apt this afternoon....

Questions or Concerns...</b> was a little concerned bc after maintaining for 3 weeks, my weight jumped up a bit last week, and the last mw was super-judgey and I didn't like her.
<b>UPDATE: </b> Apt went well, although she did say to try and "slow down," my weight gain. Uhm, yeah. Sounds good. I may have gotten a bit touchy when I told her I really don't sit around eating junkfood. I dunno if I should start counting calories, or what. But whatever.
Either way, we've probably got a big baby in there, which we already knew! Since I've been measuring ahead at every scan. But today we took my first fundal measurement at 27, when I guess it's "supposed" to be closer to 24. But that's fine. Still hoping to use the doula and avoid too many interventions, so hopefully baby will cooperate with our birthplan! Lol
Next time is at 28 weeks, with all the bw and glucose test, so should be fun.
Did my test this a.m. so hoping all went well. I also got my Rhogam shot today and then promptly lost the card I’m supposed to carry in my wallet.
But my mom bought us a chair! She went to a regular furniture (vs baby store) and it was half the price for the same styles we were looking at so for anyone looking I suggest that route- rocker/recliner that we can still use once babes is older.

@laurad75 (BIG WAVE) I'm happy to see you here! I hope your appt went well today! Thank you to everyone for the warm welcome! I couldn't be more happy to be here. @BusinessWife I do not look forward to the weight shaming. Like anyone TRIES to put on excess weight when they're pregnant. Ugh.

Hi guys, glad to see lots of activity this week and everyone is well.
How far along? I'm 25 weeks and super glad. I know this is maybe psycho but I read that 90% of babies born 26-27 weeks survive so I am looking forward to getting there next week. I am really looking forward to 3rd tri. I am getting excited that this might really work out and I'll have a baby. Not getting too excited but starting to let myself believe more and picture a real person!
Appts this coming week? Canceled appointment this week and going again next thursday even though will go to perinatal the following tuesday also. I really need the piece of mind before my first shower weekend after next and helps me relax. went to the doctor last Thursday for sono just to make sure everything was ok. I got nervous having a week off. Cerclage is good, baby is good and cervix is long and closed. Baby is breech and kicking really low so was making me nervous. But now I know what the feeling is and helped me have a nice weekend.
How're you feeling this week? Most of my problems are poop related. TMI but it keeps hurting and then the baby kicks on top of it. Today I took a nap just so I wouldn't have to feel it. And Everytime it hurts I get stressed it isn't just constipation or other and then I go and I'm ok again. This afternoon I woke up having to go and it actually made me nauseous. Just trying to take it easy and day by day. Also trying not to work too hard. Finished a big project this week and feels good!
Had one big meltdown last sat evening when got over tired. My husband and I have made a code word 'code purple' and it means we have to stop everything and I need to lay down and he rubs my back and listens to me if I need to vent or cry. There is no other solution really because we know I am irriational and not myself. It has been working and we are fine after, he has been so supportive and is really getting the hang of taking care of me. I think he'll be a great dad.
GTKY: What is everyone doing as far as showers / sprinkles? Who is hosting? Are you having multiple showers? Etc.
@sarcasticowl- guuuurl I am so with you on the baby showers. I ended up inviting my MIL and SIL to my first shower in 2 weeks. And I'm dreading it a bit. There are some friends that I adore that will be there too so I'm going to just try and focus on them. I also have received 2 presents and my shower is in week and a half now! I know I always do wait until last minute though. We'll see but I'm the same thinking like I spent so much time on this list and everyone is ignoring it! Hah
My MIL had the audacity to ask if she could invite more extended family members to the one she barely made the cut for. I haven't spoken to her in months and my husband barely talks to her and emailed her back, a firm no. The second thing we are doing is a friend's brunch and I'm most excited for this one! Then the last one is my step family which is kinda BS because none of them would lift a finger to plan it. I had to set it up myself and just made a reservation for lunch and a Facebook invite. They all wanted to come but no one wants to have it. Whatever, I'm glad I can portion it out into three groups and not mix too much family and friends. I'm also thankful I'll at least get a few presents out of all this forced socializing. I know I'm being a brat, but it's hard gathering and having to see everyone I know and talk about this pregnancy which hasn't been the easiest path. I'm just skipping the details with anyone but my very closest friends.
So on the topic of all the shopping, I found a magical solution this last week. It is Nextdoor. I don't know if it is everywhere but here in Texas people use it a lot. It is a neighborhood website and people sell things on there. It's weird because I have been hesitant to get anything second hand but suddenly I'm like totally down. I got the bassinet, all newborn clothes, packnplay, rocknplay, swing, crib and all furniture new. We are getting to the top of our budget and so now I'm looking for deals. I found the sweetest couple that lives 10 mins from us and they gave us like all the baby stuff they had for $150. Included a bouncer a second bassinet/rocker (possibly for my mom's house) baby sling, play mat, tons of toys, bottle warmer and sanitizer, boppy pillow and cover....ect. Was crazy and so nice and made my husband very happy because so cheap. We also got a very nice peg perego highchair for $80, Bumbo chair with tray for $10. So it's been fruitful and every couple we've met has been nice. I will say there was one dud, a lady sold us a jumper that smelled really heavy with perfume. I think they smoke and are covering it up and my husband picked up and didn't notice. Anyway, we couldn't get out the smell washing several times so we are donating it. So we are out $30 but we saved probably over $300-$400.
@2MomsHoping I am going to miss you and will have to lurk around on 3rd tri to follow you! Sorry to be a weirdo, getting attached to you guys on here! Haha. So happy for you going into third trimester, I can't wait to join you.
@BusinessWife. Don't let her make you feel bad.... I started gaining again the last two weeks also... I gained 2 more pounds so I'm up to like 5 lbs. But I'm only supposed to gain 15 total. This week I started logging my calories again and realized I've been eating like 1000-1500 over unknowingly. Got a bunch of whole foods prepared meals and didn't track well, oh well, I can usually make it up after a week or so watching more closely. Our baby is measuring a week ahead now and starting to get consistent comments that he is tall and big each week.
@Dragonfly6191 sorry about the sch - I had one too and had to be on and off rest. Take it very easy and you can do it! Boy and a girl how amazing!
Welcome all other new 2nd tri gals so glad you are here! And congratulations!
@adirat sorry to hear about placenta previa, glad to hear you are doing okay though. Maybe it will move a bit. My best friend had it like 100% and got a c-section and was perfectly fine.
@laurad75 glad you are sticking with us another week and hope that appointment went well!
@lablover78 I'm glad to hear your tightness from last week is better. It does sound like BH and hopefully that's all. I haven't had any yet, maybe because I'm on progesterone to relax everything.
Very happy to share that yesterday's appointment went very well. The ultrasound showed that he is growing perfectly (2 lbs 11oz already!) and producing plenty of fluid which means the right kidney is doing just fine. There is no change in the left cystic kidney and they can see the membrane on the bladder that they suspect caused the issue with left kidney but as long as there is no change we have nothing to worry about right now. We are meeting with the pediatric nephrologist in a few weeks to learn more about testing and care after he's born.
No pics for this u/s because he was covering his face with his hands and just not giving a good profile pose. Figures. They did have to confirm that I knew the sex because at one point he was 'showing off' and they would have had me look away.
The nurse came in during my u/s to give me the glucose drink. It was manageable but so gross. I got the results through our portal last night and I passed. The other blood work showed that my iron levels are a little low but barely below the standard so we will see if I need to take a supplement or something. I'm hoping not, because that will likely not help my constipation.
OB check up was nice and boring with nothing exciting to share which is the best. I did get the Tdap Vaccine which was NBD and set up my next few appts which will put us just 4 weeks out of EDD. It's all going by so fast!!

Appts this coming week?

November 2017- Hysteroscopy
January 2018- 3rd attempt via FET. 2 Embryos transferred on 01/25/18. BOLD BFP on a HPT on 1/31, Beta # 1 on 2/5= 721. Beta # 2 on 2/7- 1903. 6wk+3 day scan revealed twins!
I'm blogging about it here
I may have an MFM appt this week, just depends on when my lab work comes back, either way I'm going, just don't know it will be this week.
Edit: Spelling is hard

@dragonfly6191 That's so scary but I'm glad things look OK and how exciting, a boy and a girl!
@lablover78 That's a great deal! I agree, registry stuff is totally overwhelming...how are we going to pick a stroller? How?
How far along? 23w
I ladies. Just wanted to drop by to say hi before moving on to the third trimester board. I really can’t wait to see you all there and of course keep up with you J I really can’t believe how quickly the time in passing.
@dragonfly6191 congratulations on your little boy and girl!!! I’m sorry you have been having complications I’m sure that must be very scary and tough to stay put. Sending you good vibes that those babies stay safe and sound.
@adirat you are my partner in never ending nausea. It’s not fair. I have given up about taking the high road with it and now constantly complain about STILL being sick. I’m just so much fun to be around. Hope your previa improves that uterus and baby still has a lot of growing to do.

Appts this coming week?

No Folic acid/pharmaceuticals/supplements (too many to list- private message me if interested), IVIL infusion

@sarcasticowl that pain sounds miserable and I would not be happy about driving 5 hrs to your MILs weird shower- this is a safe place lol

@sarcsticowl Sorry about the heartburn and swelling. I hear you that Tylenol is useless. Have you tried pre-natal yoga? That has really helped me with my back issues and learning some techniques for the swelling.
I don’t know much about BabyList but I wouldn’t be too concerned about what has been purchased. Maybe they are all just going to give you cash.
Great to see you here @radmom27! We’ve had quite a ride together so far haven’t we?!
Welcome @mechelita44
I’m super anxious for my appointment today. I know baby boy is doing fine because he’s been so active lately but my husband is traveling so I’ll be alone and that just makes me nervous. I was told there was no need to fast before my glucose test but I’m being extra careful with my sugar intake just in case. It’s going to be a long day before I leave work at 1:30.

@radmom27 I lurked on this board and saw your name. Congratulations!!! I'm so so excited for you. All the best with the remainder of your pregnancy

Welcome to second tri @radmom27 and @mechelita44 !
@Dragonfly6191 hang in there with the SCH, thinking about you! Not sure if you're completely at home now due to the pelvic rest, but I always have book recommendations if you need something to pass the time!
@sarcasticowl your MIL shower cracks me up...it definitely doesn't sound fun, but you can't exactly decline either. Can't wait for stories!
AFM...24+1! So excited to have made it to viability!
No appointments until June!

<b>How far along?</b> 24+2
<b>
Any appointments this week?</b> 24 week cu with midwife<b>
No Folic acid/pharmaceuticals/supplements (too many to list- private message me if interested), IVIL infusion
Thank you to everyone for the warm welcome! I couldn't be more happy to be here.
@BusinessWife I do not look forward to the weight shaming. Like anyone TRIES to put on excess weight when they're pregnant. Ugh.
