  • How far along are you? How big is baby?  12 weeks - babies are due 11/28, but will be born no later than 11/14

    Appointments this week?  Finally have another appointment next Tuesday. Got the news that the genetic testing was perfect.

    Symptoms?  I have a cold right now, so that trumps all things pregnancy related. I'm pretty miserable. I already feel hot all the time. 

    Rant/Rave/Questions? Rave: I bought a couple of pairs of maternity ankle pants from Old Navy with the side panel and I LOVE them. Super comfortable. I'm tall, so they're somewhere between capris and ankle pants, but perfect for summer. 

    GTKY What are your favorite summertime activities? I love taking the kids to zoos. Being in the backyard, just hanging out, playing with the water table is fun.

    Feeling a little more human most of the day
    Rant/Rave/Questions? 
    I wish there was more variety with over the bump pants for work and jeans. Side & under the belly panels absolutely suck, but its like all that's out there. Makes me grumpy.
    GTKY What are your favorite summertime activities? 
    Hanging out by the lake, the beach, bon fires, pontoon rides, etc

    14 weeks. Size of a peach 
    Appointments this week?  
    Had an appointment with the OB yesterday. Got the results from my NT scan and bloodwork (negative) and found out the measurements from the ultrasound I had on May 4th (baby was measuring 6 days ahead with a good heart rate then). Got to hear the heartbeat for the first time with a doppler. Also got prescribed something for my nausea which just doesn't want to quit. 
    Symptoms?  
    Still puking every day, still super tired, still have sore boobs. 
    Rant/Rave/Questions? 
    I keep hearing about this magical second trimester but I'm starting to think it's malarky! haha.. any day noww... 
    GTKY What are your favorite summertime activities?  
    I love being at camp on the water, campfires, barbecues. The sunshine is one of my favourite things!

    Appointments this week?  yesterday! Just a checkup, all is well.

    Symptoms?  Heartburn, nosebleeds, lightheaded if I don't eat enough, RLP

    Rant/Rave/Questions? Been feeling a little more movement, but it's still just flutters! Can't wait for strong, consistent kicks and rolls in my belly!

    15 Weeks! An orange.  

    Appointments this week?  
    I have an appointment tomorrow. I’m excited to hear the heartbeat. 

    Symptoms?  
    I’m having longer stretches of feeling better during the day. Mornings and night are still tough. 

    Rant/Rave/Questions? 
    I am starting to feel flutterings! This is my third baby and the movement has come earlier every time. They’re not frequent or consistent yet but they’re there! I love it so much.  

    GTKY What are your favorite summertime activities?  
    I love being home with my kids. I don’t take on any summer evaluations so that I can be home with them. We go outside every day. We go swimming, on walks, go to museums, go on adventures. I just love the time with them.

     13 weeks, the size of a lemon
    Appointments this week?  
    I saw baby again on Monday. I wasn't expecting an ultrasound, but since I got to my appointment early they decided to do one.
    Symptoms?  
    Pregnancy wise- just being really tired. I've been sick for 3  weeks, so I'm having a hard time differentiating.
    Rant/Rave/Questions? 
    Rant- I'm wondering if I will ever not be sick. I've had a cold, followed by bronchitis, and now potentially strep throat. Rave- we told our parents on mother's day and it went super. My mom actually squealed with joy. 
    GTKY What are your favorite summertime activities?
    Hubby and I try to go for nightly sunset walks. It's nice to just be together and talk about our days.
  • How far along are you? How big is baby? 12+3 weeks, size of a plum             

    Appointments this week? I had one yesterday, and since I have this "heavy" or "achy" uterus feeling my OB is still not taking me off of the super high dose of progesterone (pregnant with IVF).  She said most women dont feel any discomfort at the end of the first trimester into the 2nd in their uterus.  (I'm working/living in the Philippines, so going to my OB here).  I lost one of the twins at 10 weeks, so I learned I cant do the NIPT until I'm 18 weeks.  Really bummed about that. 

    Symptoms?  Headaches, exhausted

    Rant/Rave/Questions? I'm so over myself being terrified all the time that I'm going to miscarry. I'm driving myself crazy! I want to relax and enjoy the pregnancy.

    13 weeks.  Jalapeno, lemon.

    None.  Got the genetic testing blood work results back though and all is good :)

    Symptoms?
    I still have days where I'm just exhausted but nothing too bad other than that.  It would be nice to poop more consistently though lol

    Bonfires, going to our cottages in northern Michigan (going "up north").  Taking DD to the splash pad.

  • How far along are you? How big is baby?  
    15 weeks yesterday! Baby is the size of an orange or a cinnamon roll or apparently an eggo waffle today! 

    Appointments this week?  
    I had a quick check up yesterday. My OB was called to the hospital to do a delivery so I just met with the nurse and got to hear little babes heartbeat. 

    Symptoms?  
    Finally feeling better and hoping my aversion to all things vegetable goes away soon! Still randomly tired, some RLP but overall I feel much better. 

    Rant/Rave/Questions? 
    So im a FTM and I’m trying not to be concerned but I am anyways. I was thin before I got pregnant (5’6, 120 pounds) and at my appointment yesterday, realized I’ve gained 12 pounds so far. My doctor didn’t say anything so I’m not concerned for the baby’s health, but am worried that I’m putting on too much weight too quickly. Anyone else have experience with this? It’s gotten better since I don’t have to eat every couple of hours to relieve the nausea, but I am struggling to eat healthy so far. Tips welcome! 

    GTKY What are your favorite summertime activities?  
    Everything outside! My family has a cabin about 3 hours from our home and I can’t wait to spend summer weekends up there. 

  • @firsttimespartanmom I was similar to you with my first, same height, started around 117ish lbs.  I gained 40 lbs!  The only exercising I did was walking but the last 6 weeks I didn't do that much walking since she was SO LOW and I had to wear one of those contraptions to hold my giant belly up.  My doc never said anything about the weight.  I wouldn't be too overly concerned about it right now.

    I've continued my exercise classes since becoming pregnant for the 2nd time and I know what I weighed before I got pregnant but I honestly haven't weighed myself yet.  I know what it says at the doc office but there I'm fully dressed with shoes on lol.

    I don't really have any tips on eating healthy, I mean, I think you know the drill, snacks can be fruits and veggies, protein in the morning is better (eggs, yogurt, cottage cheese, etc.) not too much fast food.
