QOTW: My guilty pleasure is My Favorite Murder, a comedy-murder podcast hosted by two badass female comedians.
Married: 9/16
TTC: 1/17
Dx: PCOS | AO
Round 1: 50mg Clomid - 4/18
BFP - 5/13/18
AFM, CD 10. Will go in tomorrow for mid cycle u/s. Hoping the timing works out for a Saturday IUI as the scheduling is so difficult for MH. Really just hoping I am cleared to proceed with the IUI period - having a 13mm follicle at CD 4 was super weird, so not sure what to expect tomorrow.
QOTW: it's a toss up - drinking wine +/- eating dessert while watching a bad movie by myself (usually a chick-flick) / getting my eyebrows tinted.
TTC 21 cycles
All TI cycles BFN (with letrozole, ovidrel, prometrium)
Hysteroscopy + Polypectomy + D&C on 1/3
IUI #1 February 6, BFP 2/21, CP 2/26
IUI #2 March 14, BFN
IUI #3 April 11, BFN
IUI #4 May 11, BFN
July 2018 IVF, developed lead follicle, converted to TI, BFN
August/September 2018 IVF converted to freeze-all: 7 mature eggs; we fertilized 3 and froze 4. 3/3 fertilized and 1 blast!
October 2018 FET-BFN
November 2018 FET-TBD
@wishing-and-hoping Fx for your US tomorrow. Hopefully your follies are all the right size.
AFM well we had more medication drama during the last week. The whole issue is having prescriptions issued in one country and filling them in another. Most drugs go by different names in different countries so you have to crossmatch the names. Then not all drugs are licenced in my country that are in my clinic’s country. So then we have to seek alternatives which means also getting the generic name for the medication and then trying to find one with the right dosage and administration method. We thought we had one, then it is only available 20x stronger as an injection administered by a doctor, not in a tablet you take yourself... But now we have one, another we will pick up tomorrow and the third should be delivered on Friday which is ok as I don’t need that one until next week.
”Luckily” DH was sick so was on pharmacy coordination the last two days.
All being well I start my two week priming routine in the morning and then it’s just surviving the side effects until AF and baseline!
QOTW The last few months my guilty pleasure has been re watching the whole back catalogue of Greys Anatomy. Multiple times. I had it playing whilst I wrote my thesis. Now I’m just watching it because I’m kind of addicted. DH hates it. So it’s my me time.

@emmasemm Thank you! I'm resisting so hard because I know once I start I won't be able to stop. Your prescription coordination seems so stressful, but I'm glad you're still able to get them

Finally TTC#1 as of 11/2017!
Thryoidectomy 2007, PCOS, disordered proliferative endometrium.
Afm I had 4 blood tests with no response at all, then suddenly had a good response on the final test before giving up yesterday. Scan today was good so got triggered and should O tomorrow on cd23. So relieved, but equally so rediculously slow to respond.

@wishing-and-hoping thinking of you and hoping your u/s went well yesterday. I hope the timing of the IUI works out for you and YH!
@emmasemm sorry you had more stress over getting your medication. Ugh. Last year I helped a friend in another EU country get a medication she urgently needed for IVF that had recently become unavailable where she was and I was a nervous wreck the whole time. There was also a shortage here (probably thanks to the recent unavailability) and because of the quantity she needed (some kind of progesterone), I had to refill it many, many times. Thankfully it all ended well and *TW she gave birth to a baby girl in March end TW*. So here's hoping you can put that behind you for awhile. Also, sorry your DH was sick but glad it worked out for him to be on pharmacy coordination! I hope the meds will be kind to you and the side effects won't be a problem.
@mighty-mouse what a relief that you had a good response just before it got cancelled. Keeping fx for you!!
AFM, not a lot going on except waiting for the MRI and first consultation with the RE on Monday. It's going to be a long day and I'm not looking forward to the prep for the MRI (if you've ever had one done of the pelvis, then you know what I'm talking about
QOTW: well it used to be reading celebrity gossip mags and watching the Bachelor, but I haven't been able to do that since I moved to France. Now I guess it would be ordering sushi whenever DH works late since he hates it. I should probably find a new one!
@emmasemm I'm a huge Grey's fan and have been in the process of re-watching it for awhile now too (currently on season 9). I'll probably start over again once I finish!
ETA an additional comment
7 medicated cycles (see above) = BFN
After an extremely emotional few days and no sign of AF by Sunday morning, I caved and took a FRER. Welp, I got my BFP! I still can't believe it. I had my Clomid follow up with my RE already scheduled on Wednesday so that appointment now has new purpose

@wishing-and-hoping - did you have the IUI? How was it? Keeping FX for you!
@emmasemm - ugh. Hoping all this paperwork for the international IVF will be worth it.
@mighty-mouse - keeping FX for you!
@mirabelle33 - what does an MRI on the pelvis entail? Hoping you get some answers on this.
AFM: Not much new here, just steadily recovering. That last FET took the wind out of my sails a bit, so I'm trying to give myself lots of time and space. And I might not be on the board so much if I'm not doing active treatment.
QOTW: Shopping, for sure. I don't shop a lot (compared to some), but when I do, I can really do some damage.
