31 weeks! Convo with a coworker I don’t know yesterday: ‘wow, any day now?!’. Nope. 9 more weeks. ‘Omg, is it twins?’. Nope. Just 1. ‘Wow, one big baby’. Sigh.
31 weeks 3 days... and I'm having the same issues this week- 3 different people have asked if I was almost done/going in to labor any minute now!?! I'm like..... wait till you see me in 2 months....
I finally remembered to take one today! 29w1d. I thankfully haven't had the random comments of my impending labor yet but I'm expecting them any day now.
*adding the obligatory, "ignore my spotty mirror, messy bedroom, etc. blah blah blah"*
@zg49 yeah I'm also just busy digging your hogwarts blanket! And the fact that @hillbillywife 's autocorrect split taht into two words and now I am picturing a blanket covered in hog warts, lol. I'll take my pic later! Everyone looks fab. I think people just forget how big we really will be by the end and the comments come out when they think we've gotten so big they don't know how we'll handle more, lol. They still shouldn't say it out loud.
I haven't participated in a while but here it is, in all it's glory! I feel a little smaller this time, as compared to last pregnancy. I haven't gained as much but still on the upper end of "normal"...whatever that means *insert eyeroll emoji here*
@pretzellover I had the exact same conversation with a nurse the other day! Excuse me while I sulk and think about how much bigger I will be in 2 months. I will be 32 weeks this Friday!
I think some people don't know realize that there is more than literally just a baby in there.
Took this yesterday since my mom requested it. I am 30 weeks tomorrow! I still wear this shirt a lot but it is clearly getting too short. I wore a shorter one unintentionally the other day and spent all my time yanking it down. Also, this is not mirrored...my DD sometimes writes in reverse haha!
I’ve had two STRANGERS ask in the past 2 weeks if I’m having twins. When I told the second lady no she asked if I was sure.... uhm yep. But thanks for the confidence boost. Im just going to start answering “nope, I just really like food.”
That twin comment is sooo annoying. Definitely on the “bingo” list of pregnancy questions/comments. Everyone looks beautiful and perfectly in line with a 28-33 weekish pregnancy! I’m already comfy in my frumpy pjs, soooo maybe tomorrow I’ll post.
Lady at the pet food store yesterday asked me when I’m due, then eyes widened and said “wow, just one?” I said yep. She asked “are you sure??” I said yep pretty sure!
I came home and told DH and he laughed it off with me...then seriously asked “we’re past the point of being surprised with two, right?”

Was going to move on to IVF with DE, but have decided not to. Will be leaving it up to the universe now.
You ladies look great! While I'm not comfortable posting pics on the internet-as someone who is actually 32 weeks with twins I can assure you that none of you are even approaching how giant you look at this point. I have like...3 things I can wear as the rest of my maternity clothes are now too small (too short with the giant bump) and I basically look photoshopped. Babies will likely get 50% bigger in the next 6 weeks before my c section and I am just terrified of what that is gonna look like! Anyway-those people asking if there are 2 have definitely never seen someone pregnant with twins that's close to the end so shake those comments off!
You guys all look so great! No pic from me this week. I have about 17 more days that I need to dress like a professional before I'm on summer break, so I'm looking forward to not having to search for clothes that fit. I can do it for 17 more days!!!!
It's amazing how many different sizes and shapes we all are. But y'all are so beautiful!!!!
Re: comments on size. I feel like every person that would comment will think you're either too small or too large. I mean, has anyone actually had a comment from someone saying, "oh, you look perfectly on track!". People that make comments are missing some kind of filter....
@TalesOfASocialIntrovert I agree, it's like pregnancy gives them a gree pass to make these comments, they probably would not comment of people's appearance as much otherwise
I feel like we should all just start telling people they are being dumb. Literally, "that's a dumb thing to say. Do u even know what you're talking about? Get out of my face."

I've gotten a lot of comments that I'm "about to burst" or "You're not going to make it to July..." but no twin comments yet (but I know they are coming). When people say "are you sure???" when they are told no it's just one baby I want to smack them. Like, oh you're right, uneducated stranger, there might be another 3lb. baby floating around in there that my doctor missed! I really wish I could say "nope, it's just one baby but thanks for making me feel like crap!" to make people aware of how rude they are. But I usually just end up saying, "Yeah, I'm big. That's how I look with all of my babies."

Adding to the dumb comments. This past weekend at my best friends wedding my other friend’s husband who is already obnoxious and was drinking said “you look pregnant AF”. Uh thank you! I was afraid my husband was going to punch him. Lol
29 weeks today, and officially 1 week past the point I hemorrhaged in my last pregnancy so I am easy up on that fear! (My mom’s coworker is like 18ish weeks pregnant with twins and my mom said she is bigger than me already so y’all are all good) but to be fair, 2 babies need the extra room!
@lindsayleigh1989 thank you! Finding clothes for work in my closet is getting harder. It’s nonmaternity and a little short but oh well I’m blaming the bump! Lol I’m trying not to buy too many maternity clothes especially for work so I’m trying to make random things work.
Any comment related to appearance drives me flipping crazy! One way or another...for the longest time for me it was "are you sure you're pregnant", even now that the bump is out people can't believe I'm 2 months from having a baby. I stopped worrying about it because I'm eating plenty and it's not like I'm trying to look small but I can tell some people think I'm trying to be thin or something! So flipping ridiculous! I had no idea how my body would change with pregnancy and I made a promise to myself to letting it do its thing. I control what I can (like the quality of my food plus moderate activity and sleep) and the rest is just what it is. We are all beautiful in our own bodies and bumps!
@kissableviv yes, people saying "You're so small!" can cause a lot of anxiety too. Aside from eating healthy and exercise, I have told people that I have no control over how my body grows a baby so... ::shrug::

@kissableviv and @Sarafuss I carry really small and got those comments a ton when I was pregnant with DD. It made me feel weird because several times it was said in an accusatory tone like I was doing it on purpose for the sake of vanity. Also, my fundal height never went past 31/32 weeks so I had regular growth ultrasounds to monitor baby growth. My baby was totally fine and was born at over 7lbs, it's just the position of my uterus. However, people don't think before they speak, I could have been dealing with IUGR or some other issue.
I feel like comments starting with "you look really" should only end with a few select words like happy, pretty, great, etc. Bump size comments are just not necessary, every.
