PGAL Check-in w/o 5/9

This is a check in for those of us who are experiencing pregnancy after a loss (miscarriage, chemical pregnancy, stillbirth, child loss, to name a few). Hopefully we can all lend support to each other through the hormone-filled craziness that is pregnancy! Just a reminder: there is a general loss trigger warning on this entire thread. 

1. How far along are you? Any milestones? 

2. How are you feeling (pregnancy symptoms)?

    1. How far along are you? Any milestones? 
    10 w 4 d. Past my loss milestone. 
    2. How are you feeling (pregnancy symptoms)? 
    I’m feeling pretty good. The fatigue and nausea started to get better around week 8. Now I’m dealing with sore breasts, frequent urination, and some headaches. 
    3. How are you feeling (anxiety wise)? 
    I’m having a good week. 

    4. Any appointment updates?
    Had my first ultrasound last Thursday. My husband and I were really anxious because we had a missed miscarriage last time and found out at the ultrasound. But, this time was really good and we saw baby moving and saw a good heartbeat. I had my prenatal exam yesterday. My midwife is wonderful and very sensitive that this is my first PGAL. She couldn’t get the heartbeat on the Doppler (thought it was too early) but she did a quick ultrasound right there and things look great!
    5. What's been happening in your life this week? Rants/raves/whatever (Dear diary posts and venting are welcome and encouraged here): 

    Things are pretty stable right now. My husband and I got to go on a date over the weekend which was long overdue (we have an almost 3yo). We’ve otherwise been busy with work, parenting, and taking care of the house. We’re starting to tell more people about the pregnancy since we got good news at the ultrasound. 

    GTKY: If you could live anywhere in the world, where would it be and why?

    I really like where I live now (Oregon) but I’ve always thought it would be fun to live in another country for a while. My husband lived in Ecuador for a while before we were married, and I liked it when I visited.

    13w3d. Past my milestones

    2. How are you feeling (pregnancy symptoms)? 
    Heartburn is legit and I hate it. 

    3. How are you feeling (anxiety wise)? 
    Nervous. I get a lot of questions asking if I have MC after this point, which makes me think they are jinxing this. Stupid, yes, but I can't help it.

    4. Any appointment updates?
    I go next week for check up and u/s

    5. What's been happening in your life this week? Rants/raves/whatever (Dear diary posts and venting are welcome and encouraged here): 
    I haven't really connected with this pregnancy like I did with ds. It makes me feel guilty, but I dunno how to fix it. 

    GTKY: If you could live anywhere in the world, where would it be and why?     It would prolly be Costa Rica. I spent 10 days there and it was amazing. The people are very friendly, and I loved the food. The food was amazing.

    2. How are you feeling (pregnancy symptoms)? Still nauseous, breast tenderness, exhaustion... the usual

    3. How are you feeling (anxiety wise)? Feeling better after seeing the baby at my appointment this week, anxious for our NIPT results to come back and for our NT test next Wednesday... I think I'll finally feel ok after all of that.

    4. Any appointment updates? NT test next Wednesday

    5. What's been happening in your life this week? Rants/raves/whatever (Dear diary posts and venting are welcome and encouraged here): My OBGYN wanted me to do a sleep apnea evaluation so I did one at home last night which was... fun? Can't wait to go home and get some sleep tonight.

    GTKY: If you could live anywhere in the world, where would it be and why?     I really love where we live, but I wouldn't mind having one of those gigantic mansions overlooking the ocean in our town instead of a normal sized house in town :)
