1. How many weeks are you? What size is baby? 12 weeks, size of a plum or robo dwarf hamster

2. How are you feeling?
Nauseous. Why hasn't this gone away yet??? I was switched to a new medicine since diclegis stopped working and I have to take it ever 6 hours. I've been a walking zombie this weekend.

3. Any appointments this week?
None this week.

4. Rants/raves/questions?
Anyone else already nursery planning? I went and got paint samples today lol I want to have the nursery ready early this time because I know I won't feel like it later on.

5. GTKY: How long have you been with your spouse and how did you meet?
We have been together 11 years, married for 10 on August 8th. We met playing an online game similar to World of Warcraft

12 weeks! Plum

2. How are you feeling?
Ok, slowly gettiing more energy and less nausea. Lower back pain/soreness is increasing though.

3. Any appointments this week?
Nah, techincally I have an appt scheduled for 5/9 but since we went in on Thursday to check on little Dot the doc said unless I need the reassurance it'd be okay to cancel.

4. Rants/raves/questions?
Just glad to be closing in on 2nd trimester! Hopefully I'll start getting more energy so I can accomplish some of my before baby gets here to-do's.

5. GTKY: How long have you been with your spouse and how did you meet?
Met online roughly 4 1/2 years ago. Married for two years this past March. Found out about our little Dot 2 days before our 2 year anniversary

1. How many weeks are you? What size is baby?

14 weeks. Baby is the size of a peach.

2. How are you feeling?

I'm starting to feel more alert when I wake up and seem to have a little more energy. But I still get winded quickly and feel like I need frequent breaks.

3. Any appointments this week?

Nope, but I wish I did have one. I'm starting to get that bit of paranoia because I don't have a way of knowing that everything is okay. Debating if I should get a doppler and if hearing the heartbeat would make me feel better.

4. Rants/raves/questions?

Just a little rant, I am feeling like I am over my cold but I still haven't got my voice back. I lost it 2 weeks ago from coughing too much. Why isn't my body cooperating?! I need to be able to talk.

5. GTKY: How long have you been with your spouse and how did you meet?
We have been together 7 years now. We got married on our 5th dating anniversary. We met through a mutual friend but we are both no longer friends with her.

2. How are you feeling? Great! Tired, and starving.

3. Any appointments this week? Nope, not till the 23rd

4. Rants/raves/questions? About to start transitioning our almost 2 year old DD to a toddler bed. I'm pretty nervous about it as I'm not sure she's ready. My oldest has had a fever all weekend... it's been a little rough but the weather for once has been beautiful, so we've still managed to get it a little.

5. GTKY: How long have you been with your spouse and how did you meet? Married for 11 years. We met in Germany when we were both active duty.

1. How many weeks are you? What size is baby? 13 weeks, lemon

2. How are you feeling? decent, very little nausea now, just tired and sciatic pain

3. Any appointments this week? nope

4. Rants/raves/questions? I posted this in randoms, but I got to do an ultrasound at work Friday night and saw baby moving and kicking like crazy. So neat to see. When I use the doppler I feel little flutters at the same time I hear either gas or baby moving (I can't really tell which). I'm hoping to feel definite movement soon!

5. GTKY: How long have you been with your spouse and how did you meet? DH & I have been together for 17 years in August and married 10 years August 8th, anniversary twins with @middleschoolmommy. We met in 7th grade geography class and started dating sophomore year of HS.

2. How are you feeling?

I'm actually feeling pretty good. I have more energy. I am really short of breath, which is annoying.

3. Any appointments this week?

Nope, not till the 15th

5. GTKY: How long have you been with your spouse and how did you meet? We've been together for twelve years, married for 6 come August. We met at a block party when I was a junior in college. He was there to meet my roommate and I was to meet his friend. Obviously, that's not how it all went down.

2. How are you feeling? Good!

3. Any appointments this week? None until the end of the month

4. Rants/raves/questions? Nerp.

5. GTKY: How long have you been with your spouse and how did you meet? We’ve been together for 13 years, married for 6.5. His high school girlfriend and my high school boyfriend were friends and introduced us our senior year of high school. We ended up going to the same college and living in the same dorm. One day, he asked to drive my mustang and the rest is history!

Pretty good, still tired. Can't wait for that energy boost to hit.

Tomorrow 5/7 on checkup. Hopefully we'll hear the heartbeat on Doppler

Everything that has to get done is starting to panic me when I see how quickly the last 12 weeks went.

been together 9 years married for 3.

2. How are you feeling?

Waking up with a bit more energy the last few days but I still fatigue quickly. Not vomiting as much but the nausea is still a full day thing. Also, vag discharge anyone? This was shocking to me until all the apps said it was normal ha.

3. Any appointments this week?

Yes. Friday 5/11, just a check up.

4. Rants/raves/questions?

Last ultrasound (on Wednesday) they found fairly large cysts that they're gonna start monitoring, has me a little worried. Also, still feel like I'm not eating a well balanced diet or anything close to, hoping my appetite and tolerance for healthy foods kicks in soon.

5. GTKY: How long have you been with your spouse and how did you meet?
We have been together 6 years, married 2. We met at a tailgate and mutual friends tried to get us together, about a year later we decided to give in and quickly never wanted to be a part.

i always suck at remember to check into this until mid week so I'm happy I actualy remembered this week!

1. How many weeks are you? What size is baby?

11 weeks. Baby is the size of a lime

2. How are you feeling?

When I don't forget my B6 pretty good. Food aversions still going strong but nothing comes back up. When I forget B6 it isn't pretty.

3. Any appointments this week?

Nope, I have my NT ultrasound the Monday after mother's day though.

4. Rants/raves/questions?

This is #2 for us and I have a feeling my stomach muscles are going to give out a whole lot earlier. I had to lie down because my lower stomach was all sorts of uncomfortable earlier today and I am not a fan. At all.

5. GTKY: How long have you been with your spouse and how did you meet?
we met 9.5 years ago in college, married for 3 years in June. Someone on my floor's mom worked with his mom. She was struggling with her econ class and MH was an econ major so her mom told her to ask him to come help. He came to dinner with us that night and we hit it off. Neither of us talk to the girl who introduced us anymore, she was kind of an awful person.

@middleschoolmommy we aren't changing our nursery (yellow paint, gender neutral decor) but we are moving DD to a bigger room before the new baby and I'm super excited to pick new paint and furniture.

@josie12367 hope the transition to a toddler bed goes well. We were kind of forced into it transitioning when DD climbed out of her crib 2 months ago and I was surprised how well she took to the toddler bed.

2. How are you feeling? Tired and tons of Round Ligament Pain and cramping, ugh.

3. Any appointments this week? I have my NT ultrasound on Tuesday. Excited to see baby and hopefully get a good report!

4. Rants/raves/questions? My stomach is definitely growing but it's in that annoying I look really fat stage. Hoping it rounds out to a legit baby bump soon. This is baby #2 and I didn't show hardly at all until third tri last time so this "fat" bump so soon is annoying.

5. GTKY: How long have you been with your spouse and how did you meet? We've been together five years and met at an event with mutual friends. But we aren't married and might never actually bother. *shrug*

@goldie987 That's reassuring to read. How did you manage the possible getting it out bed scenarios? We have a two story and the stairs are freaking me out. Our walls are concrete and almost impossible to install a screwed in type of baby gate (and it's a rental house), so we were planning on using a pressure gate in her door frame. I don't want her wandering about in the early morning. Ugh... it's been five years since I went through this with my oldest, and I feel like I know nothing again!

12 weeks - plum

2. How are you feeling?
Better, thankfully! Still feeling nauseous in the evenings but haven’t thrown up in over a week.

3. Any appointments this week?
I go in Friday for my regular appointment and blood draw for the NIPT -very excited to hear baby and hopefully get good news from the NIPT.

4. Rants/Raves/Questions?
Just thankful to be feeling better. Hopefully the energy comes next since I’m still exhausted 24/7.

5. GTKY: How long have you been with your spouse and how did you meet?
Been together 9 years and married 5 in November. Met in law school.

@josie12367 we have pressure gates and we got “wall cups” from Amazon for like $10 and they really help with the security of the gate and helping it not slide around. Not sure if they will work on a door frame since you need more surface area but maybe they have something similar for door frames or you can use the gate at the top of your stairs

14w1d. Peach. Second tri!!

2. How are you feeling?

Fingers crossed the morning sickness is starting to go away. Went 3 hours without eating yesterday and didn't get nauseous, so hopefully it's a start. And hopefully my energy will start to come back.

3. Any appointments this week?

None, gender scan on Mother's Day though.

4. Rants/raves/questions?

None at this time.

5. GTKY: How long have you been with your spouse and how did you meet?

I have been with my husband for almost 12 years, married for 5. We met in college through a mutual friend. They were dating at the time and broke up shortly thereafter. He and I lost contact until about a year later I met this other guy and his girlfriend and I became good friends. Girlfriend was actually DH's sister, and she and her bf re-introduced us. 4 weeks later we were dating and the rest is history! I later found out it was love at first sight for him the very first time we met, and the second time we met I made the first move because he was having an internal debate of do I date my ex's friend? We still talk to her and she is so happy for us.

2. How are you feeling? So much better. I can tell the end of 1st tri is close just by how much better I am feeling.

3. Any appointments this week? NST u/s tomorrow!

4. Rants/raves/questions? This weekend I ran my Spartan race (9 miles, 27 obstacles). It was amazing being able to do it pregnant and felt like even more of an accomplishment. I've been lucky that my symproms have been mild this time around. Although it can also be stressful for loss brain.

5. GTKY: How long have you been with your spouse and how did you meet? We met at church and were friends for a year before we started dating. Dated 2.5 years and have been married for almost 7.

13 weeks, a lemon.

2. How are you feeling? feeling okay. Get exhausted easily, occasional waves of nausea. Still having lots of aversions.

3. Any appointments this week? have my NT scan on Thursday.

4. Rants/raves/questions? I had a regular OB appt last Friday and was pretty irritated after. For one, the midwife didn’t even try to find my blood work results that needed to be looked at because of me passing out a week ago. I had to ask a nurse assistant to look after the midwife left and was nowhere to be found. Also, this was our first time to hear the heartbeat, but she was in such a rush, we barely got to hear it. I guess baby was moving around, because we would hear it and then it would go away. She hardly even tried to find it after one little snippet of hearing it. I usually have such positive experiences at this place, but this midwife definitely didn’t sit well with me.

5. GTKY: How long have you been with your spouse and how did you meet? my husband and I have been together for 13 years, and this July will be our 10 year wedding anniversary. We met on MySpace when I was 18 and he was 19 back in 2005 before online dating was a big thing. Come to find out that we lived right down the street from each other, and my mom actually used to do his moms nails back when she was a manicurist when I was super little. Small world.

@wildrainbow I can try to avoid her on my own, but The OB likes to rotate you through all their midwives because whoever is on the hospital schedule the day you go in to labor is who you get. I think there are like 6 or 7. So there’s always a chance she could be the one of duty when I go in to labor. I’m hoping maybe it was just the fact that it was Friday late afternoon and she was just ready to be done and get home.
