Please note: This check-in is for those Jan moms who have participated recently on the TTGP board, i.e. leading up to this pregnancy. If you did not participate on TTGP, members may ask you who you are and/or wonder if you're lost. Please don't take offense. There will literally be a million check-ins once the board gets going - no one is expected to participate in them all. ❤

Hey there TTGPers! How are things going? Let's do a casual check in, but if questions/structure help you, then here are the usual to use as guidelines:

Do you have a preference or feeling that you're going to have a boy or girl?

ETA - I know we all just want healthy and a baby, doesn't matter the sex, but that's not what I'm asking. Let's dream a little.

How far along are you?
4+5

How are you feeling?
I get a little nauseous but it's not bad, it just feels like I am on a boat and then it passes.

Any recent/upcoming appointments?
I JUST had a second beta draw and am waiting for my results atm.

Do you have a preference or feeling that you're going to have a boy or girl?

I obviously don't care either way. I just want a healthy little baby at the end of this, we have a boy and girl name picked from last time. I'm only partial to having a boy because H is an only child and we're OAD. It'd be nice if he could pass his last name on.

Does anyone else miss the ttgp girls. I obviously don't want to go back, but I wish I could scoop them all up and take them with me. I was just lurking and it's like in the few short days I've been gone it looks like a totally different group. I don't recognize half the names. It's so weird.

How far along are you? 4+6

How are you feeling? Fairly tired and definitely hungry all the time. I’m just wondering when nausea will kick in.

Any recent/upcoming appointments? Next Friday 5/11 is my first appt!

Do you have a preference or feeling that you're going to have a boy or girl? I’d be happy with either, tbh. But I feel like it’s a boy, DH thinks girl. Like swears on his life it’s a girl. Guess we’ll see!

Ohh I miss those ladies too. I became really really close with one of them personally, and it's absolutely killing me that she isn't here with us.

How far along are you? 4w4d

How are you feeling? More and more tired. Nausea is come and go. Had it last night pretty bad. It's been raining here and my dog smells like mud and it makes me gag every time I wipe his paws. So, I think most of my nausea is from certain smells rather than just being nauseous.

Any recent/upcoming appointments? Most recent appointment was this past Tuesday. They took blood work, and I am dying to hear what my hCG and Progesterone levels are(were). It's been 3 days! Ah! US is on the 25th.

Do you have a preference or feeling that you're going to have a boy or girl? I would looove another boy! I grew up with 2 sisters much younger than me (and they drove me nuts), and I just want all the boys now. BUT I would of course be ecstatic with a girl too! And I kind of have a feeling this is a boy.

Pretty good so far. Maybe a little more tired but daily naps have helped.

Any recent/upcoming appointments?
Not until 5/25- 8w ultrasound. Since this is 2nd pregnancy with the same OB he didn't have me come in for blood work.

Do you have a preference or feeling that you're going to have a boy or girl?
Since I have a DD, I would love a boy. Previously DH said he was only going to have #2 if it's a boy. Last week was the first week he made a comment that another girl would be good too. Lol. Based off of my symptoms, this pregnancy is totally different. This time I had a late implantation so late to find out. I don't have the crazy thirst or sore boobs. Who knows if that actually makes a difference in whether or not it's a boy. I am going to do the NIPT again and find out at 10w.

How are you feeling? Still pretty good although I had a bit of nausea this morning so... I started with morning sickness with DS at about 6 weeks, so that sounds about right.

Any recent/upcoming appointments? Next Thursday 5/10 is my first U/S

Do you have a preference or feeling that you're going to have a boy or girl? Of course I would love a girl as I have a son, but I just want a healthy baby. I'd love another boy as well so I can reuse all of DS's adorable clothes. My gut feeling is boy

I only lurked TTGP for a couple months and finally started posting like 2 weeks ago so clearly, I know I don't belong here. I just want to say it's so good to see so many of the TTGP ladies here that I read stories of! Bsst of luck to everyone!
