donuts and all the cuban food. I seriously could have white rice, chicken vaca frita, and fried cheese every night for dinner. And we NEVER eat donuts in our house, so this is really bizarre for me.
@babyptobe I know you posted this in the April thread but to continue here I was obsessed with jalepeno kettle cooked chips with DS. I hate kettle cooked chips and I'm not a fan of jalepenos but man they were good!!
I dont really have an appetite lately but I've been craving a steak and I'm having dinner with a gf of mine tonight and that's what I'm having. I can't wait. Haha
I have finally figured out what I can consistently eat that doesn’t make me go “bleh.”
Bananas or Apples with peanut butter. Maybe some cheese or sliced fresh veggies on the side. Carbs, fat, protein, not a lot of added sugar. It’ll work, until it doesn’t.
And poptarts, chocolate milk and cheetos are awesome, but trying to limit my junk food, especially the sugary stuff.
Also, I find it very odd how I HAVE to have something one day and the next I'm over it. Pretty sure it's driving my husband crazy!
Same here. My fridge, freezer, and pantry are all full of things I saw at the store, decided I needed to have, and then just left to collect dust
I'm still riding on my tart fruit cravings though, I could eat them all day. I also need to put hot sauce on everything now so that's fun. I've never had heartburn before and I hope it doesn't creep up on me now!
if you want to know whether or not i can eat a jar of tostitos quest dip in one sitting.... you might be able to find out on the reg.
i know, its gross. but its so pasteurized and processed that nothing can live in it, and i LIVE for quest (fresh, good queso) and all the naughty cheeses. so I'm getting my fix.
for the record, i also ate a crap ton of veggies and hummus today sooo.... and a protein shake!

@sliztee - Guacamole is so delightfully easy to make. Smoosh up an avocado, throw in some chopped stuff, maybe add a bit of lemon or lime juice- and you are good to go. (I usually use onion and tomato, maybe some cilantro if I have it on hand.)
By the way, I am so glad this particular conversation has shifted from ginger and saltines. It is fantastic that so many of us are enjoying real food again!

@tropical1982 Today my bump app said the baby was a size of a taco and it make me want tacos! But then I was thinking how weird it would be as it would feel like I was eating the baby!

@chyvie I love to bake, so with DS I said was going to bake/cook something each week using the fruit or veggie size comparison for the week. DH shut it down. He said it was just weird.
@Lisa3379 We’ll probably finish off the rest of the ice cream with tonight’s root beer floats. Then I will not permit anymore speak about them for fear of another last minute grocery run.

At the beginning of this pregnancy, I didn't want anything sweet, all I craved was salt, but now I want sweet and spicy foods.
