Couple things:
1. Please introduce yourself and read the rules in the welcome read first thread! It will tell you we don't allow this type of AW post. It clutters the board and isn't the type of support and community we have built.

2. We don't guess sex because we aren't professionals and have no way of knowing. Its a 50% chance. This community is about science and the only way you can determine the sex is by an ultrasound tech or blood test.

3. The internet isn't a place you should be posting your name and hospital information on your ultrasound. So you might want to edit it out. Stranger danger

Also- we are not here for your amusement. We are here to support each other through the stressful and challenging changes in our bodies and lives due to pregnancy.

However, I have absolutely no doubt that there will be much amusement had in this thread.

@chyvie pretty much covered it. This board is probably the least catty board on TB but you've got to first read the intro's and rules before posting because if not you'll get a less than friendly response to your post, especially a "guess the gender" post. Some of us are scientists and Doctors but none of us yours so if you scroll through some of the previous posts, you'll find that even advice is given with a "contact your Dr" disclaimer because it isn't our place. I hope you have a nice, uneventful pregnancy and that you're baby is healthy regardless of what their chromosomes are.

...I am just gonna C&P what was said on the last thread, which you would have seen if you have joined the community instead of just barging in here for your 'amusement'

1) no one here is a human medical doctor that can read your ultrasounds
2) even if they were, we don't do that here because an early scan is inaccurate for sex predictions
3) even if we could and it was accurate, thats a side profile...how is anyone supposed to see a dingleydoo (or not) from a side profile?

Also, why do people think its a good idea to put their personal info (like full name, birthdate etc..) on the internet. I could be the creepiest creepster who loves identity theft for all anyone knows. I suggest you delete the pic ASAP

I mean I can't even see anything besides the head.. and that just looks round.. my guess is also that it's a side view so there is no way to see what genitalia baby might or might not have.
Also touching on this again, edit out your info before posting pictures on any platform.

I look at these kind of posts like going to an organized gathering of some kind, where you don't know anyone, maybe kind of a high school reunion type deal, show up late, run up to the podium and tell everyone to guess the sex of the baby. Again, no one knows you, you were invited but missed the introductions and ran straight for the mic. It's just a little weird... People don't do it in real life, so why is it totally fine to do it to strangers on the internet?

What everyone else said + Science recognizes 5 biological sexes. So you could get a boy or a girl or neither or both. The possibilities are endless!

For anyone curious, the 5 biological sexes are: male, intersex male, intersex, intersex female, and female.

An intersex person is a person who has ambiguous reproductive organs, or both male and female sex organs, or chromosomes that are neither male nor female or both. For instance an intersex person might have both XY and XX chromosomes or have XXY chromosomes or some other combination.
