1. How many weeks are you? What size is baby?

18 weeks - the size of sweet potato.

2. How are you feeling?

Pretty good. My back and hips have been aching...and I am constipated / having pretty strong gas pains, however.

3. Any appointments this week?

Nope.

Not yet, but it's early.

1. 18 weeks, baby is as big as an artichoke

2. I feel great 95% of the time! I’ve had some pretty seriously painful cramping a couple times in the second Tri, though. It seems to only happen a day after having sex? It’s so strange and so painful. It happened on Saturday and by Saturday evening we had to leave game night at a friend’s house because I couldn’t take it anymore.

3. No appointments this week

4. Rave: One of my besties sent me a bump box! It was so sweet and thoughtful!

Question: Has anyone looked into or signed up for childbirth class(es) yet? Believe my OB said we would talk about this at our 20 week appointment but I’m curious.

5. Hmm I don’t know! I’m throwing a cinco de mayo bridal shower brunch “Nacho average shower” on Saturday for one of my besties so that’s the only theme I can think of right now!

2. How are you feeling? Starting to get my energy back! It’s been a week since I last threw up so I’m hoping morning sickness is over

3. Any appointments this week? Nope not till next week.

4. Rants/raves/questions? Second trimester finally!!!! So glad to be at this point. I’m hoping some of my anxiety about this pregnancy will start to subside.

1. How many weeks are you? What size is baby? 16 Weeks. Ovia says an action figure, but I feel like that could be lots of sizes.

2. How are you feeling? Still throwing up daily, but the nausea is getting slightly better. I think we are getting to the end of the morning sickness now.

3. Any appointments this week? Nope

4. Rants/raves/questions? Last night I started feeling baby kick from the outside! Everything is happening so early this time, but I'm completely ok with that.

5. GTKY: If you could have a total kid birthday as an adult now (piñata, candy, party games, goody bags)...what would be your theme? I would love to have either a Harry Potter party or go really 90's and do Legends of the Hidden Temple or even Double Dare since that one is coming back.

2. How are you feeling? Honestly, aside from tiredness I'm feeling good. much less vomiting

3. Any appointments this week? actually, I do and I'm not sure why. I thought he wanted to see me at 15 weeks but now my preggo brain doesn't know why I have my appt this Wednesday

4. Rants/raves/questions? Rave...ECSTATIC to be in the 2nd tri!!!

I'm a little sad I'm preggo for my 30th birthday because I was excited about having a "double quince" but no real theme there lol

1. How many weeks are you? What size is baby? 17 weeks- the size of a large order from McDonalds Fries

2. How are you feeling? I feel HUGE already. I saw a picture of myself from this weekend and I look like a billion years pregnant. I can't imagine getting bigger (obviously I am). Send help.

3. Any appointments this week? I am interviewing one of the potential pediatricians this week!

1. How many weeks are you? What size is baby?

16 weeks. Avocado. (Again, this must be a big ass avocado, because I rarely seem them 4" long)

2. How are you feeling?

Meh, so so. Daily headaches are still a thing. I think I've been getting pretty dehydrated...I've noticed the headaches are worse if I don't drink 100 oz of water per day. Which is really difficult to get in. I'm lucky to get 60 oz in a day. Was pretty dizzy this morning, and had to chug a bunch of water, which seemed to help. Still have some nausea if I get hungry during the day, and still struggling through most evenings.

3. Any appointments this week?

16 week check up on Friday. Should get genetic screening results back, and sex results, but we will hold off on the latter until I figure out when to do a sex party. (hehehehehe, I'm feeling really mature this evening)

4. Rants/raves/questions?

Finally had a massage yesterday. Definitely not as good as they used to be pre-pregnancy, but it was lovely none the less. I have to go back next Sunday because my shoulders/neck are sooooo tense from going without a massage for 2.5 months.

Hmm, I'm going to have to agree with a lot of the other ladies, fiesta all the way. Piñata? Margs? Tacos? Guac? Gang's all there. What else do you need?

2. How are you feeling? My headaches are back.

3. Any appointments this week? Yes our monthly appointment is on Wednesday. I feel like it's been forever since I've seen the doctor.

2. How are you feeling?

A little better! Still taking anti-emetics/anti-nausea meds basically around the clock but I feel slightly less nauseous between doses.

3. Any appointments this week?

Nope, next week

Finally 2nd tri! Yay! I'm sometimes able to eat a few more bites than before, so we're finally getting somewhere lol I have a random knotted up muscle right under my neck, beside my shoulder blade. It's making it hard to move my neck/arm and it's pretty painful. Heating pad and hopefully it goes away!

5. GTKY: If you could have a total kid birthday as an adult now (piñata, candy, party games, goody bags)...what would be your theme?

That's really hard. I love the mermaid/sea theme, but also love Harry Potter.

@ladyofarlington we got a phamplet that listed all classes offered this year, at what they call an OB talk. Which is basically a bunch of paper work and and bunch of questions lol. I was told last pregnancy I could also call the hopital and set up my classes at any point. I know here they only offer each class like 3 or 4 times a year, so it's important to have the if early (since only 1 or 2 of each class falls in my pregnancy). We didn't do any last time, but I want to redo the infant cpr/safety course, just as a refresher (I was certified for years, for work.)

1. How many weeks are you? What size is baby? 18 Weeks - Size of a Sugar Glider

2. How are you feeling? Pretty good. Tired of my nose and gums bleeding. Already hate sleeping on my side. but feeling wise, I feel great. No nausea, can eat all the things, smells don't get to me, and I'm not utterly exhausted all the time.

3. Any appointments this week? Nope. Anatomy is scheduled for the 15th.

4. Rants/raves/questions? I'm just ready to drink beer and sleep on my stomach.

5. GTKY: If you could have a total kid birthday as an adult now (piñata, candy, party games, goody bags)...what would be your theme? Fun!! I would do Fiesta!! Bring on the tequila, margaritas, hats, colors, fun, pinata, all the fun festive things.
