5. GTKY: Have you already bought something for your little one? If so, what? If not, is there a reason you haven't?

1. When is your EDD/how far along? 1/4, 4+4

2. Any appointments this week? nope, not till next week

3. Symptoms? so thirsty, tired, and hot. We usually go straight from heater on to turning on the air b/c of allergies but we actually turned it off last night and opened a window (allergies be damned) and I slept SO much better - it was at least 5 degrees cooler in the house. I actually slept through the night for the first time since my BFP.

4. Any questions/concerns/etc? Anyone else have cats? If so, is YH handling the litter box for you? I'm still doing ours (to be fair, no scooping - we have an automatic, we just pull up the bag 2x a week) and our girls are indoors only, but haven't been tested for toxoplasmosis.

5. GTKY: Have you already bought something for your little one? If so, what? If not, is there a reason you haven't? I haven't specifically bought something since my BFP, but I've had a few onesies for a few years that I had stashed away for when I was pregnant, as well as a beautiful infant crocheted outfit I loved at a craft fair that I wanted to use for pictures.

2. Any appointments this week? Nope, not until end of May

3. Symptoms? None yet. I've been tired but I'm honestly not sure if that's a symptom of pregnancy or the fact that we spent the weekend at a wedding 5 hours away and then DH had to get up super early yesterday to go to the airport which woke me up

4. Any questions/concerns/etc?
It still doesn't feel real! I haven't been to the OB yet and I'm not feeling symptoms so I still don't feel pregnant. But AF didn't come and the test came back positive so...

5. GTKY: Have you already bought something for your little one? If so, what? If not, is there a reason you haven't?
Not yet. Haven't really had the urge to yet which is so unlike me! Although we did recently buy a couch and one of the things that sold me on it was that it's a sectional with a huge corner piece that I knew I could safely rest a baby on. Also, does our house count? Because we definitely bought it with kids in mind! lol

@ghostie625 - the couch and the house totally count (imho). We're currently buying our first house and it was too big for us if we weren't having kids, but we decided the day after the bfp that was the one, we could see having our family there.

2. Any appointments this week? BETAs tomorrow early morning

3. Symptoms? None.

4. Any questions/concerns/etc? Nervous because of not feeling any symptoms. I know in my head I wouldn't have symptoms if everything was perfect right now because it's so early; but it is freaking me out because at this point I'm looking for things that can go wrong.

5. GTKY: Have you already bought something for your little one? If so, what? If not, is there a reason you haven't? TW loss in spoiler

I had purchased 2 books for the baby during my last pregnancy. So, I still have those. I can't imagine I'll be getting excited or buying anything else until my second tri at this point

@catlady2015 *lurking since I am a STM...lol* I have two cats and had them with my first pregnancy. MH was *supposed* to take over the litter duties, but he didn't scoop as often as really needed, and I kept getting mad so I just did it. At my appointment today, my doctor said use a mask and gloves and wash hands afterwards. But she did prefer that I didn't do it if hubby could take over. My cats have always been completely indoors too, so the chances of them having it is suuuper slim. If you only have to change it twice a week, have YH do it. We just have the traditional one, so I have to scoop everyday. Bleh! I need an automatic!!

January 5 - 4+3

2. Any appointments this week?
I have an HCG draw at 1.

3. Symptoms?
A little nauseous but not bad, a little flighty.

4. Any questions/concerns/etc?
I have major concern, but I'm going to deal with that at my appointment today. I really want an early U/S. I'm hoping my Dr will grant me my wish.

5. GTKY: Have you already bought something for your little one? If so, what? If not, is there a reason you haven't?
I have a couple star wars children books, and a free hooded towel from amazon that we got before my loss. I haven't bought anything since our BFP. I probably won't until I know LO is in my ute and not my tube TBH.

@Ghostie625 - we also just bought a new house for the same reason! We have a dedicated room for the nursery. I can't wait to get past these initial dr appointments so I can start decorating

2. Any appointments this week? 2nd round of bloodwork tomorrow at my RE office.

3. Symptoms? Giant(er than usual) boobs, bloat, tired, grumpy...all the fun things!

4. Any questions/concerns/etc? Wondering how many rounds of bloodwork I'll do at my RE before I get sono, and how long before I get discharged to OB/GYN!

5. GTKY: Have you already bought something for your little one? If so, what? If not, is there a reason you haven't? We've bought Mothers Day cards for our moms that say "What do you get for the mom who has everything? A promotion! Congratulations Grandma!" and mugs that say "My new name is Grandma." We plan to tell our families at Mother's Day dinner in a few weeks, if all continues to go well! ..... but I guess that's not actually for the babe. So no, we haven't bought anything. I have lots in my amazon shopping cart!

@rooonilwaazlib we are planning on telling H's parents on mothers day too very similar idea.

My BFF started up an etsy shop and designed this for us (in spoiler) as my H is super into technology. His wedding band is a circuit board pattern, he has a tattoo of a circuit so it's totally fitting. She is going to screen print this onto a onesie and mail it to her before monther's day. MIL lives out of state, so she'll never see it coming.

It's funny because my FIL called my H last night and said "you better give your mother something special for mother's day"

@galactickates adorable!!! My sister is going to totally flip out! After the initial reveal I’m going to buy her something that says “I can’t keep calm I’m going to be an aunt” because that will legit be her state of mind through this pregnancy.

1. 4+4, EDD 1/6

2. No appointments until 7 weeks.

3. I can’t believe so many of you aren’t having symptoms! I’ve been having cramping, bloating, and breast tenderness/tingling since 9 DPO. I’ve also been lightheaded and dizzy, and had some occasional, mild nausea. Been crazy fatigued the last couple of days, but also having insomnia. Last night I told my husband that symptoms setting in this early could be a sign of twins, and I think he had a mild heart attack. I guess we’ll see!

4. I found out I will have to rotate among all the doctors in my OB/GYN practice, and I’m not sure how I feel about that. Anyone have the same thing with their doctors, or have any thoughts on it?

5. I have bought a couple of onesies and a felt rattle shaped like a game controller (a surprise for my gamer husband). We’re also going to a library book sale this weekend to pick up some crazy cheap children’s books.

No.
3. Symptoms?
Not alot, Yet. My boobs where a bit sore on sunday, But that's it.

I have not because I do not know the sex yet, But it's tempting! I want to order some clothes but I'm trying to refrain.

1. When is your EDD/how far along? 1/4, 4+6

2. Any appointments this week? no, not until the end of the month

3. Symptoms? sore nipples, constipation, feeling somewhat queasy today. I have been waking up early and not being able to fall asleep but I think that is more due to excitement / disbelief

4. Any questions/concerns/etc? How do I stop worrying? I finally slowed down to taking a test every other day to make them last longer but every trip to the bathroom makes me anxious that I'm going to see blood. I hid my BBT thermometer so I'd stop temping! I'm trying to remind myself that worrying will not change the outcome and it is not doing either of us any good but it has been a challenge.

5. GTKY: Have you already bought something for your little one? If so, what? If not, is there a reason you haven't? I bought Jimmy Fallon's Dada book wayyy back when we first started TTC to give to DH when I got pregnant but ended up doing something else to tell him so the book is still wrapped up hidden away. I guess that counts.
