Anatomy scan and 20 week appointment this morning! H will be coming with me and we're excited to find out the sex and make sure everything looks good. Nothing else beside that though!
Supposed to have a regular OB appointment but I've had to reschedule three times for work emergencies (not good, I know). I also have my Tier 2 ultrasound on Saturday (T2 because I'm AMA ("geriatric" according to my paperwork)). That ultrasound is supposed to take an HOUR! My husband is also out of town for that, so I'm doing it alone...
So excited for the anatomy scan in a couple of hours! Can't wait to see how much our bub has grown, especially since he/she(we'll know soon!) Has been moving around like crazy for the past month... strong babe or just big? Or both?! Oh my
Gah, no. I have to wait until May 8 for maternal fetal med U/S and May 10 for my 20 week regular visit. Good luck at your appts this week ladies. Don't forget to post your u/s pics in the thread. I love them.
We've got the anatomy scan tomorrow afternoon. Feels like forever since our last US. So excited to see our little one and hopefully confirm all is still ok. We are finding out the gender but won't know until a little gender reveal in a few weeks. Gonna be tough to wait!

Quick update, AS went well! Baby girl was a little stubborn and wouldn't show her spine so I'll have to go back in 4 weeks for a repeat ultrasound to get more pictures. She's measuring right on track, weighing about 12 oz, HR was 142. Appointment was otherwise uneventful. Have to get a 1 hour glucose test done sometime this week. Hope everyone else has great appointments this week!
ETA: found out that I have an anterior placenta which surprised me since I've been feeling movement since 16-17ish weeks. Also, baby is breach currently.
@nlc8424 glad to hear the appointment was uneventful, minus a few surprising things. Congratulations on a baby girl!! (I would say the same thing if it was a boy too!)
Standard follow up appointment and standard regular appointment to my big ultrasound last week. Hopefully find out the gender. Could maybe find out earlier via the internet but not planning too!

22w appt today for a regular check up/post anatomy scan review. This kiddo was really moving during our 12week ultrasound, and again at the anatomy scan, and was wiggling so much today my OB gave up getting an accurate reading on the HB. We located the HB about 8 times, but never for long enough to get a reading. She said it's at least 140, but we weren't likely going to get a better reading than that, which I found endearing.
Regular 18 week appt today. Little boy's heartrate is right there at 155 as per usual and sounding beautiful Scheduled my anatomy scan for 2 weeks from now. I was happy to have another quick hi/bye everything's fine visit.
Long appointment today with as and then meet with the Ob. Everything looked great! Baby girl was flailing around like a wild woman. Kicking and punching non stop. Every time they tried to take a picture of her face she would turn away really quick. She started laying on her back, but by the time we were done she was laying face down sticking her bum in the air. Heart beat was strong, measurements were right where they should be. I don’t go back until 22 weeks for a normal well visit.
Glad everyone’s appointments are going well today.
22 week check up is on Friday. It’ll also be a follow up to our A/S last week. I’m sure it’ll be a quick in and out appointment. All looked fine at the A/S last week. As per usual with my kids, baby is measuring a week ahead. And we successfully made it through the ultrasound without ruining Team Green status!
Had our scan today and we're expecting a boy! He looked good and measuring almost a week ahead. Definitely not surprising since I've felt so much movement for the past 4-5 weeks! Hoping everything is good with him, but we don't see our doc until next week!
20w scan today, found out we are having a little boy! Everything looked great and my anxiety is back to a relatively normal level! He is measuring big...we are so excited and relieved! DD is not a happy camper so far!
Had my 20 week scan yesterday. I've watched every youtube video available that show boys vs girls. I immediately knew it's a BOY!!!!!!!!! My heart burst with happiness. We are over the moon! Baby is right on track, weighing 13oz and 150 HB. He put quite a show for me moving around and flashing his butt lol What an amazing day!!
Good wishes to everyone having their anatomy scans this week!
I had a midwife centering appointment last Saturday and the anatomy scan is scheduled for Thursday morning! I'm really ready to know the sex of the baby.
@nlc8424 Congrats on baby girl! My doctor does the 1 hour glucose test at 26-28 weeks. Guess the timing varies by practitioner. Didn't know that.
@jaylii thank you! It's because of my pre-pregnancy BMI that they want to do an early screen for GD then they'll repeat it again at my 28 week visit. Not trying to downplay the seriousness of it, but I find it kind of silly that based on my BMI being 0.1 higher than in my first pregnancy I have to do an early screening. Of course I'll do whatever to make sure baby is safe, but meh.
I had a first trimester glucose screen, and then will do the regular one around 26 weeks. I had gestational diabetes last pregnancy so it’s very likely I’ll have it again, and they just want to stay on top of it...if GD is controlled the risks are really low, if it’s not they’re really high, so I’m happy to be more closely monitored!
Anatomy scan and amnio was friday! Overall it went well though everything ran late and they had to scramble at the lab to get our bloodwork done in time to send out w the amnio fluid.
Dd took the news that it is a sister fairly well. She’d been convinced it was a brother. Now she keeps picking awful names and insisting that’s what we should use. Dh and I are back to the drawing board, he decided he didn’t like Brooke so much anymore.

Our scan on Friday went well, everything was measuring fine and no issues. I did feel like when I met with the doctor she was "too busy" for our appointment. She came in and said everything was measuring fine and began to walk out. I had to ask her one question so she briefly sad down. I really like all the other doctors in the practice that I rotate to and I am guessing due to being a Friday afternoon? I realize that everything was fine and I should be ok with that, she had the data in front of her, but I had a few questions and I don't think my expectation of at least a 5 minute appointment was too much to ask. I made sure to book my next appointment with a different doctor.

@ferris0906 sorry your H can’t go with you this week. Hope you won’t have to reschedule your OB appointment again.
