Us Tuesday gals have been lazy and we haven't had a ticker yet! Here it goes...
1. How far along are you?
2. Any symptoms?
3. Rants/Raves/Questions?
4. GTKY: What is one (or more) of your favorite childhood traditions that you will carry on with your own child/children? If you can't think of any, do you have any ideas for new ones? *Stolen from the Saturday Ticker*
Re: Tuesday Ticker! Due dates 12/4, 12/11, 12/18, 12/25
9 weeks! Baby is the size of a postage stamp, or a green olive according to my ticker (mmmm olives....)
2. Any symptoms?
A lot of my bad ones have subsided. I haven't been nauseous for about a week, but I still get super uncomfortable and bloated after I eat. My boobs are HUGE (already had to buy some new bras) and feel like they are filled with gravel. Still dealing with some brown spotting, which is really annoying me. Like, just go away? No cramping, just some little RLPs here and there.
3. Rants/Raves/Questions?
Nothing at the moment. Getting antsy about telling everyone soon. We aren't doing a social media announcement or anything, but I still dread having to "announce" big information to people because I don't like all the fuss that comes with it. I just want to get that part over with.

I want my kids to love and appreciate gardening as much as my husband and I do. We spend all spring planning and tending seedlings and all summer taking care of the plants outside, both flowers and vegetables (we are putting in probably at least 30 tomato plants this year, along with tons of other stuff
We also intend to bring our kids up Catholic. My husband and I are no means strict Catholics, and we certainly don't agree with everything the Church does, but we are both from large Catholic families and we think it's important to include some type of traditional institution in the kids' upbringing. It definitely doesn't have to be a religious institution, for us it's more about the community anyway, but that's what we are going with because it's such a big part of who we both are. I love that I can go to almost any Catholic church in the country, or world even, and it will be largely the same as the church I went to as a child. I gain a weird sense of comfort from it, I think just because it's so familiar.
9 weeks today! Baby is the size of a tater tot!
2. Any symptoms?
Nausea, fatigue (god the fatigue), extremely hormonal/irritable, food aversions continue. Either I'm getting used to it or it's getting better though, because I'm finding it bearable (albeit awful) at least.
3. Rants/Raves/Questions?
Work continues to be incredibly demanding and awful and they're asking for more even though I'm clocking 11 hour days daily, so...just counting down the days until this job is done (less than 8 weeks!)

I want to do a countdown calendar for Christmas, I always loved that, and baking cookies on Christmas Eve is fun. We bought Christmas jammies for DD last year and I think we'll continue that tradition. Otherwise, not really! I want to create a bunch more traditions though! Looking for ideas (especially non Christmas ones, because that seems to be the only kind we have covered, haha.)
I LOVED those countdown calendars when I was a kid. I almost bought my husband and I some last year
6 weeks- EDD is Christmas Day
2. Any symptoms?
constant headache- Tylenol is worthless but peppermint oil gives me some relief, occasional nausea, and so so sleepy!
3. Rants/Raves/Questions?
Work is hard right now! I just want to lay my head down haha. But I am a teacher so I get summer off- 4.5 weeks to go
