Twin heart rates

Hi,

I found out last Thursday I am pregnant with twins.  I am unsure of dates due to a chemical pregnancy last month but on Thursday I would have been between 5 weeks 5 days and 6 weeks 1 day.  One twin had heart rate of 113 and the other has rate of 78.  Everything else looked good.  The ultrasound tech said it could go either way for the one with the low rate.  My doctor seemed less concerned and said it was really early.  I have another ultrasound scheduled for 5/7.  I'm a nervous wreck.  The waiting is killing me.  Anyone have any thoughts or experiences on this?  Thank you!

    I don't, but I wanted to say Hi and Good Luck and Congrats on the twins, how exciting!, and you like running?, because I like running too. 

    But really, wishing you the best, and I hope the next week passes quickly and you get good news next monday <3

    @runrinserepeat Thanks so much for your reply! Yes, I love to run too!  Have you been running during your pregnancy so far?  I was keeping up with until I got freaked out by my ultrasound on Thursday and now I'm scared to do anything!  Monday can't come soon enough!

    Hello! I found out last Monday that I'm expecting twins as well! I didn't go in for an ultrasound until 8w1d, but from what I've read, heartbeats show up around the time around the time you went in, so hopefully, things will have evened out when you go back in!!!! Prayers for good news!

    Yeah, I’m managing about 20 miles a week. My biggest issue is finding time to run with DHs schedule, he’s busy this time of year with work, and I can’t leave the kids at home alone so...

    my honest feeling is that running isn’t going to make a difference if your body is used to it. But I get the anxiety. I’m having a hard time connecting with this pregnancy right now though, so I’m just not as anxious as I might otherwise be.

    @texas_t Congratulations! I'm completely overwhelmed by the idea of twins but the moment I saw 2 I loved them!  That is what I am thinking as well and seems to be what the doctor indicated so I'm hoping it had just started beating!  I really appreciate your prayers!!!

    @runrinserepeat 20 miles is what I was trying to keep up with as well.  It is definitely hard to find the time and energy.  I know that it is almost certainly fine for me to run but my anxiety is just so high right now about everything.  With my other pregnancies I never thought twice about it!
