    1. How far along are you? What are the babies’ sizes, or if you know their weights??
We are officially in the third trimester as of today!  The babies are definitely over 2 lbs each according to our doctor.
    2. Any recent appointment updates, if not when is your next appt?
We have an appointment on Friday and will have an ultrasound, which is always exciting for me.  I just like to see them and know they're doing ok!
    3. How are you feeling?
Someone asked my husband and I this weekend what we're most fearful of and we said in unison "being responsible for two human lives".  But we're also so excited to hold them in our arms and start our little family (beyond our two fur children of course  :)  )
    4. Best moment with the babies this week?
We had guests staying at our house, and it was quiet on Saturday morning.  We had just set up the glider in the nursery so I got to read them a few books and just enjoy the calm.  I had a nice little moment, ha ha.
    5. Any Rants/Raves/Questions or Advice?
Hubs and I are taking an infant CPR class on Thursday.  A friend of mine said, "Oh, we didn't do any of THOSE classes" as if we were crazy for taking them.  I nicely said that everyone learns in different ways.  Ultimately, this is how my hubby and I operate.  We are nerds that like to be prepared, so deal with it, ha ha!

Yay! Hope everyone is doing well! It's going by fast! Can't believe March is pretty much here!

    1. How far along are you? What are the babies’ sizes, or if you know their weights??
27 weeks on Thursday! We will have a growth ultrasound next week, can't wait to see how big they are!

    2. Any recent appointment updates, if not when is your next appt?
Not until next week, then I'll be seen every 2 weeks instead of monthly

    3. How are you feeling?
Overall pretty good but my lower back pain was rough this past weekend at work (12 hr shifts- hooray!) Sitting/standing all day is hard and I really need breaks to lay down on my side to feel better. Can anyone else relate?

    4. Best moment with the babies this week?
Just feeling them being super active is awesome. Also our nursery is like 90% complete!

    5. Any Rants/Raves/Questions or Advice?
No rants really.... Rave is we are having a casual joint party this Saturday so getting excited for celebrating with friends and family. We are also doing a short getaway next weekend if everything is still going ok/I'm feeling good

    2. Any recent appointment updates, if not when is your next

I go twice a week. On mondays I see an MFM and have an ultrasound done and I also do NST twice I week which I see an OB at those appointments. Boys are looking good!

    3. How are you feeling
im Okay. My legs have been cramping up while I’m sleeping and so has my lower abdomin.

    4. Best moment with the babies this week?
    I love feeling them move.

    5. Any Rants/Raves/Questions or Advice?
No rants. But identical twin pregnancy is hard! ❤️

    1. I’m 33w today. Last week at my growth scan they were 4.8 and 6.0 even.

    2. Next appt is April 12th.

    3. Pretty awful to be honest. Everything hurts and I’m dying.

    4. I got a solid c-section date and time scheduled so it’s really nice to have an end in sight.

    5. This sucks :)

lol @totalcword I could not relate more with the phrase “everything hurts and I’m dying.”

    1. I’m 35W5D. At my growth scan on Tuesday Baby A was 5lb6oz and Baby B was 5lb15oz. Baby A is breech and Baby B is head down. I have a C-section scheduled for April 21 at 38 weeks so 16 days to go, max!

    2. I go to OB appts and growth scans once a week now, so 2 doctors appointments per week. I don’t have to do any non-stress tests which is kind of surprising to me.

    3. I’m feeling better than i thought i would be feeling at almost 36 weeks pregnant with twins. Still pretty mobile but i have a ton of pressure down low when i walk, and sleeping through the night just doesn’t happen anymore. I’m like a circus freak when i go out in public. EVERYONE stares and comments and offers to help, which is nice but also frustrates me because I’m a pretty independent person. Like back off lady i can still unload the groceries from my cart by myself. (Sorry ... rant)

    4. Honestly the fact that they’re still cooking and growing inside of me is amazing and makes me so happy. As uncomfortable as it all is, I’m so amazed that my body just knows to keep them in there. Like I have 11 pounds of baby in there and my stomach is measuring 48cm, how has my body not tried to evict them yet?

    5. Just keep moving ladies.

You ladies are all amazing! Wanted to share my latest update:

32 weeks, girl is 4 lb. and boy is 3 lb. 12 oz. Both have been head down so hoping they stay that way. I am only seen every 2 weeks until 36 weeks then weekly. My personal goal is 36 weeks but of course 37-38 would be more ideal. Just this last week have finally starting to feel more tired and yucky. More crampy/pressure and lower back pain. Hard to know what is normal as first pregnancy so trying to take it easy as much as possible and pay attention to my body

Prayers for all these babies to keep growing and make it to the end!

I'm so happy to hear that the twins are all doing so well!  Keep on cooking, little ones!

We are 34 weeks & 2 days and have an ultrasound and non-stress test scheduled for Friday.  They were both over 4 lbs at last check so I'm hoping they are about 5 1/2 lbs each!  Urine tests are showing some protein so there is concern over preeclampsia but it's being monitored.  I just want them to stay in as long as is recommended by our doctor.  I somewhat joked that it'd be great if we could have a doctor's appointment every day to make sure they're doing ok.  The doctor laughed....I didn't :)

Glad to hear everyone is doing well! I’m 36.5 weeks and still only dilated 1CM so it’s looking like I’ll probably make it to my scheduled c-section at 38 weeks. This is going to be the longest week and a half of my life.

This weekend we were in the hospital for 2 1/2 days since the doctors were worried about preeclampsia.  They gave the steroid shots for the twins to strengthen their lungs so that was good!  Ultimately though, after being in labor & delivery then the high risk OB unit, it was kind of hard to leave the hospital without the two little nuggets in our arms.  But....it's better for them to stay in and cook a bit more!  I just have to keep reminding myself of that :)

    Yes keep them cooking!

I was in the hospital for false labor yesterday. After monitoring, I was contracting but still only dilated 2CM so they let me go home. Babies will be here on Saturday!

Yay! I have my 37 weeks appointment today. Dh wants babies to be born on his birthday (Sunday) so we’ll see what my doctor says regarding induction.

Ive been reading that 37/38 weeks is ideal for di/di twins so we will see!

Our girls were born on Saturday 4/21 via C-section at 38 weeks. Lyla Bell came first weighing 6lb5oz and Savannah Rose came two minutes later weighing 7lb2oz. No NICU stay or anything and we left the hospital 3 days later. The first night home was terrifying. There were a lot of tears and "how the hell are we going to do this?!" but it's honestly getting better and more manageable every day. We're in love. Best of luck to the rest of you and may you have safe and healthy deliveries!!

The boys were born through vaginally delivery on the 23rd at 37 Weeks and 2 days. Baby A weighed 6 lbs 7 oz and Baby B weighed 5 lbs 5oz.

I was was already at 7 cm when I checked in at the hospital for my induction. They broke my water around 8:30 am, had my epidural an hour later, and started pushing at 4pm. Baby A was born at 4:23 and Baby B was born feet first at 4:27pm

We got home yesterday. My tear filled night was night 2 at the hospital. A lot of wondering what we had gotten ourselves into haha.

Congratulations @emearsheimer and @lincbeesmom!  So glad to hear the twins are doing well!

Our little ones arrived a week and a half ago at 35 weeks and 2 days.  Baby boy was 5 pounds 11 oz and baby girl followed shortly after at 5 pounds 6 ounces. No NICU stay for either!

Baby boy was so anxious to get out the nurse actually had to hold him in while the doctor came in from down the hall. One push and he was out! 14 minutes later, baby girl followed head first!

We were home from the hospital two and a half days later. Yes, the first night was tricky! Mostly, my husband and I were snappy with each other.  When baby boy peed through yet another swaddle, my husband asked if we had more. I responded, "I don't know the full inventory list, babe."

The good news is, we've gotten much better! And now we can focus on snuggling and loving on our little bundles.

Blessings to all of you and your little ones. Our miracles arrived 4/18 about 18 hours after my water broke unexpectedly at a check up. Babies were 1 day short of 34 weeks. Pushed 3+ hrs to get out baby girl, she weighed in at 5.5. Boy was born an hour and a half later after only 7 min of pushing. He's our peanut at 3.14. Placenta was fused and her cord was 3x the size of his. Are now 10 days old and working on breastfeeding. Will likely be in NICU up to a month. So incredibly grateful!
