Spelling errors in emails, chats, texts drive me crazy. Almost everything now has a spell check of some sort, and spelling errors make me cringe. This also includes myself, so if I catch a mistake after I post or text I almost always correct myself.
My FFFC can also be a good UO: I think Melania Trump handled this State's Dinner with such poise and excellence. I had my doubts about her when she became First Lady and that she'd just kind of fall by the wayside, but my goodness she handled herself so well for this event. Will she be the *best* FLOTUS ever? No, and probably far from it, but she seems to truly be embracing it with grace.
It creeps me out so, so much when people post pictures of their faces or their kids’ faces on tb. I’m so social-media averse, it is a shock to my system and makes my physically cringe. I realize this is a personal problem but I hate it.
@spottedginger I totally get you. Every Wednesday I think about doing hdbd, but I just can’t do it. Which is weird since I have no problem with pictures of myself on Facebook which is even more public since my name is right there.
If you work in an office in a technical position you should know computer basics. You should not ask IT for help formatting your word document. You should not have to ask IT how to plug in a monitor.
I'm not sure if this is an UO or an early FFC that illustrates what an a-hole I am... People who constantly post on social media about their low self esteem- "I'm so fat, I'm so ugly, I suck, I fail, I'm stupid, no one loves me, no one could love me," over and over and over. A point comes that I'm not inclined to argue with them. I see people reply, "no! You are awesome! You are beautiful! You are so smart!" And it just seems like the poster was fishing for compliments. The thing about self esteem is we can't fix it for you. It's "self" esteem, that's an inside job. I won't poop on you and kick you while you are down but it's not my job to be your personal cheerleader 24/7. I'm all about lifting up a friend going through a rough patch but I can't even deal with people who are set to permanent "woe is me mode." Maybe it's my UO that I don't think one should use social media to constantly dear diary about how crappy they think they are.
On the flip side I also don't like the folk that constantly dear diary on social media about how absolutely AMAZING their spouse or child or pet is for doing the bare minimum normal mundane stuff. Just say that you love them and leave it at that. (When my kid does some totally normal toddler thing, but it's new for us, I'll post about it, but I don't say he's a genius or so special, I just say that I thought it was cool or interesting to us.)
@stothi you just described the fastest way to get me to unfriend someone on social media. Heck I'll do you one better, I don't really even respond nicely in person (for repeat offenders or someone clearly fishing for compliments). In college a girl on our team was complaining that, "ugh I have such a huge zit right now I'm such a pizza face" to which I responded "well that's too bad"
@EErin86 gay bashing or never talking to me unless you are trying to sell me someone are the 2 fastest way to get unfriended and blocked with me, but the constant woe is me will get that poster hidden real quick.

All of these are good ways to get me to unfriend you as well. Also anyone bashing the #metoo movement when that was all over social media.

This. I also tend to unfriend or hide if you post to many stupid inspirational memes. I hate those.

I love a good inspirational meme! But not 12 a day with no original thoughts of your own. That's when I start to get annoyed.
Inspirational memes are so overdone. I like photos of people though.
Oh, my UO? You guys and all your mayo on sandwiches...or anything. Ew. I'm extremely low condiment use. No mayo, no mustard, no ranch, no salad dressing.
