High Risk Doctor in North Broward or Boca

Hello all! I am new on here.  My husband and I are thinking about trying to have a baby but I already know that I am going to be high risk due to a previous pulmonary embolism (blood clot in lung) and that I have Factor V Leiden.  My current gyno said I'm too high risk for her and that the only high risk she takes is diabetes and multiples.  I was wondering if any of you have Factor V and/or a suggestion for a high risk doctor in the area.  Thank you!

    Hi there! I go to Florida Perinatal Center. I think they have a location in Boca as well. I’m surprised your OB doesn’t have any suggestions for you though. Most have a high risk doctor that they refer patients to after they are pregnant. Hopefully you also see a hematologist to make sure everything is optimal before pregnancy. Good luck!
