I've been pretty good at avoiding it for the most part @britvahok but this chest congestion has been producing some pretty heft coughs that if I'm not prepared for them leave me wishing I had a second pair of underwear
Lmao snissed is a new word to me but I’ve done it a few times now. I sneezed this morning and told DH “I just peed a little bit.” His practical solution...do more kegels!
Ugh, my husband always tells me to do my kegels when I pee my pants. I'm sorry but I pushed out a 10 pound baby, ain't nothing going to save that pelvic floor!
Ugh, I'm jealous of everyone's BMs. It's been a rough week, and milk of magnesia isn't cutting it. I have a bachelorette party this weekend and I really wanted to be slim and trim and good to go and get rid of my massive poop belly. Sigh.
I was finally able to tweeze an ingrown hair that I've been fighting with for weeks. Inspired by the success, I trimmed and shaved.

I recently applied for a new job and got an interview! After talking with the lady who would be my boss- the job is even more of a dream job than I thought! The interview went great and I have another May 1st!!
I know timing is so bad for job searching right now, but my office culture isnt the best right now and the type of job I REALLY want never comes available! So I had to go for it while I can!
I'm SUPER excited and it makes me feel great that I have another interview!!

yay!! I hope everything works out! It's so awesome when the right job appears.
Yesterday my 13 year old had a well visit with his pediatrician and then a session with his counselor. I went to the school to pick him up 30 minutes early so we could get to the first appointment, and tripped over my own feet. I ended up slamming down to the concrete and landed hard on my hands and knees, dislocating my left shoulder in the process. I was all discombobulated and sat on the sidewalk for a few minutes, trying to process what had just happened, and I felt my shoulder slowly slide itself into socket. I picked myself up, got my kid, and took him to both appointments, before having his dad meet me at the counselor's office so I could go to urgent care and make sure I wasn't broken. Everything is all good, except crazy pain, so now I feel like a warrior! lol
Finally got out and cleaned up my front garden from last fall's dead stuff. I'm going to need to plant some all season annuals this year though. I can't bend over much! I should have taken a before. SS and I also planted his dino planter. Pics in spoiler
I have picked the sticks up in my yard. There was a whole tree’s worth. I didn’t mow, but my neighbor is going to do that for me this week. I have more to do, but I have already done enough for today.
My mom and I went shopping for nursery furniture yesterday and ordered a beautiful set at Buy Buy Baby! This is the stock photo but the pieces I got are slightly different. Instead of the hutch, I got the changing table for on top of the long dresser, and instead of the tall dresser, I opted for a nightstand since the nursery has a good sized closet. I'm so excited to put it together with DH in a few weeks!

After a solid family day yesterday, we dropped DS with my mom today and have seriously cleaned our bedroom. It’s the dumping ground for all random things and was a wreck. We moved my office into the bedroom a few months ago so DS could have a playroom, and it’s been driving me nuts ever since. Finally clean!
I finished watching the Harry Potter series yesterday.
I saw the first movie the day after it opened in 2001(?). I watched the last two movies yesterday. Clearly the series hasn't been a super high priority for me, but I'm glad to finally know how it ends.
I have managed to recreate a hangover without the actual drinking part. Surely that counts as an accomplishment? Or at least an indication that lack of sleep may be one of the biggest contributing factors, so I'll make sure when I drink again to get plenty of sleep!
We had such a good day today! Fully enjoyed the gorgeous weather that has finally arrived. DS spent over an hour at the park and wouldn't get out the swing
Then we spent the whole afternoon getting the backyard Spring ready. Put out the patio furniture and I actually got burned lying in the sun!
Burned. Last wknd was an ice storm. The craziness.
We picked up the mini-crib we bought off a friend and set it up in our room - we were going to set up the full sized crib we used with both other kids but it was just too big to fit in our room. This is the definite downside of not having a dedicated nursery to begin with - even though both kids were in our room the first six months they had their own room for all their stuff. This time we are waiting to figure out room configuration until after baby is here as we only have three bedrooms upstairs and I'm not quite ready to let my 7.5 year old move to the basement bedrooms on her own yet.
And we got a bunch of yard work and tidying done. We have a community garage sale coming up and we got some stuff sorted for that in case we decide to do it again this year to try and clear out some junk!
I got a huge pile of stuff to go to Goodwill out of my basement and loaded into my car. It is a good thing they have guys to help with unloading. I am officially out of the lifting things that may be heavier than I think they are business.
My parents are visiting for the week and my mom is doing everything for me! So much stuff is getting done!! (No thanks to me but hey I’m not complaining)
I traveled to CA to run an event tomorrow at my company for 900 kids for Take Your Child to Work Day. After work today, I put on my jeans (that we’re the only pants I brought for tomorrow) to wear briefly while I ran out and grabbed dinner.
I dropped an entire cup of juice in my lap while sitting in the rental car and instead of losing my mind like I wanted, I mopped up the car and then went up to my hotel room, rinsed my jeans in the bathroom sink, and concocted this contraption to dry them using a blow dryer propped up on a hairbrush and pile of towels.
It was very creative, if I do say so myself lmao

@sammierose464 I'm jealous. This was the conversation I had with DF last night My accomplishment is that I ate food today. Actual food. I've been living off of random pieces of raw veggies, slices of bread, and chips for weeks. But today I ate actual food. Hopefully this starts a trend.

ugh...totally jealous. My fella has been acting like a have the plague since I got pregnant. Granted, I felt like I had the plague for a couple of months, but I've felt pretty good for a few weeks now.
We're enrolled in a program where we get points for using less electricity during certain hours. It's usually only once a week. So Thursday, we had one of our "ohm hours," and the fella was watching the football draft. He was so proud of himself for switching the TV off and watching on his ipad right when it started.
I commented that there are other fun things that could be done in the dark instead of staring at our screens, and he looked at me like I'd asked him to do quantum physics.
I pooped twice today and yesterday. Pre-pregnancy this was my normal. Super regular, twice a day, no issues whatsoever.
After months of struggling and barely getting out a turd some days, it’s coming back! All that water, oatmeal and fibrous fruits and veggies are working ❤️ I could cry!!!!!
Yesterday I managed to clean out SD’s room while she was w mom and DD napped. It was phase one of moving them into the same room. I got rid of one garbage bag full of trash/crappy toys, one garbage bag full of donation clothes, and a bin of hand me downs for DD. I organized her mess of a closet and redid her drawers. Such an organizational rush!!
Yesterday I finally bought some maternity clothes and had dinner with one of my best friends. I was so excited to finally tell her about the baby! We had been planning to do dinner about 3 different times before it finally worked out. Today we cleaned the entire house, including the windows, and we made our Facebook announcement today! It was so much fun to share the news this weekend
I had a super busy weekend- which seems crazy for how little I have done the last three months. The best part though was that I got my pots out, bought a bunch of plants, and will have pretty green stuff this year!
Unfortunately, I ran out of soil before I got to the end, so I have a bit more to do. I also got my tomatoes planted!
As an extra bonus- at the flea market where I like to buy my plants, I found a brand new Baby Einstein bouncer for $30 and a Chicco stroller for $15. I’m going to try the Graco Pack & Play cleaning tip someone posted on the stroller, but other than being dirty (in the well used rather than nasty sense), it is in really good condition.
